I accidentally deleted an app that was not backed up to the cloud; can I get it back? It wouldn't matter too much except that it was a paid app. A search of topics wasn't successful. I've learned a lot from these discussion support communities. Thank you for any help.

You should be able to copy it from your iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and if it's compatible with your iPad you can then sync it to it

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

I have all my photos organized in i-photo as both photos and events. When I opened in the past the images in each event or album appeared as icons on the sreen. Now when I open I only get a dotted line rectangle and only if I click I see the picture, which is really problematic when trying to see or select nay image.
I don't know if mistakenly I did something with the settings although I couls not find anything in preferences or any of the menus that could relate to this.Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto thumbnails - this may take several tries

You purchased it directly from Amazon, not the App Store? It was a downloadable application, or one that came on physical install DVDs?

If the icon exists on your screen, just do a long press on that icon and when the small X appears on top of the app, press it and it will delete it. As long as this is not an Apple app, since those cannot be deleted.

If it wasn't present the last time you backed up your phone, then you've lost it forever. There's no "trash" on the iPhone that you can "undelete"

Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.
1. You don't need to.
2. Settings->Cellular->"Use Cellular Data For" will show the data usage for each App since the last statistics reset
3. Settings->General->Background App Refresh Will show which Apps are allowed to get data in the background
4. It restricts it to Wifi. If the App requires internet access and Data is turned off, it will have to wait until the device is connected to a wifi network.
5. Nope, You just use up battery since the BT radio will continuously look for nearby BT devices.
6. The Personal Hotspot uses your cellular internet connection from your phone or other cellular device; whether you consider that secure or not I cannot say. It also depends on what you are doing while connected to the Hotel's wifi. I would not do online banking while on vacation though. -

Thanks so much for being out there for me - someone I can talk to. I went to purchases and unfortunately it is no longer there. I dowloaded the Notes App again for free. I will just buy Bejeweled again. I guess the price of downloading maverick was losing my beloved video game. great, but my MBA did not come with an installion disc, only a tiny jump drive that is not recognized by windows; and I can't get the contents of that burned to a DVD either. So how the heck do I get the drivers into Windows 7? My MBA has bootcamp 3.0.4.

I am trying to find an old mac font. It's the techno (apple) font that was available with OS 9. How can I get this font?
I think that was Tecno. Techno appears to be a whole class of fonts.

That's a .ttf version which should work OK with current OS.
As an aside, I was searching for Apple Textile for quite some time when it was pointed out to me that it was used by iDVD. Sure enough, opened up the installer package for iDVD with Pacifist and there it was. Now working fine on all my Macs!
