Question

Having come to the forum to ask an actual question, I have been laughing at Bill's dialog with himself.
Anyway, here is the question:
I have about 20 audio clips that I want to play for a client to get a feel for the type of music they might like.
I can't decide if I should just put it together in Audition to be played on a CD with a voiceover saying something like "This is Number One" and "This is Number Two", etc....
Or make each one a separate track.
Or, perhaps, put them on a sequence with titles saying the same thing. That way I could put it on YouTube on a private link for her to listen to.
What do you think? How would you present a client with choices of things she might like?
At least part of this audio will probably be used in every video they do from now on as the intro. Sort of an identifying music to go with their logo.

I like the sound of that (pun intended) but I already made the mistake of promising them examples since they could not tell me approximately what they thought the music was that went with the concept of the store.
I know, without a doubt, that if this store was in Texas or Florida, or any of the other Southern states I have lived in or visited, I would be using Bluegrass music. But this store is in Oakland California. In fact, it is in a fairly tough neighborhood. However, I believe that the target audience is made up of upscale do-it-yourself kind of people from up, or down the road. Not so much from that neighborhood.
In other words, I have no idea what the customer might choose. Rather than try to guess, I offered them 18 choices. Just to allow them to "feel" the music, I have decided to go with video, mostly of bees, and titles from 1 to 18.
It may be a mistake, but so be it. Based on what you wrote, I extended the 15 second clips to 30 seconds to lesson the issue of a first impression.

It is not that I want to do this in a hurry, by the way. It is that I don't want to spend a lot of time on it past what I estimated. I may have bid a bit low to get the introductory video done, and then I am hoping to get a fairly constant stream of work shooting their training class intros. "Come to the class and learn about...." kind of stuff.
Not counting my time on this forum discussing it, I have already spent about three hours on the project. I only estimated about ten hours total. I figure I can shoot about 12 pics in the store in one hour, and get a 30 second or less video of the owners in the can (probably four times in four styles just in case) in about two hours.
The audio recording could be a couple of hours or 5 minutes, it is tough to know in advance if either of them can read for under three minutes without sounding flat or if they have to memorize it, or worse yet, wing it. If I have to end up doing the voiceover, it will cost them extra. They already know that. But in reality it would be easier on me, I suppose. I will have them record the audio on their own as practice. If it sounds like it is going to be OK, then great. If not, we send them back to the drawing board or I do it.
Because most of it is still images, panning in After Effects will take me about an extra hour or so.  I am fairly practiced at it.
So adding it all up there isn't much wiggle room for trimming it all just so, and changing my mind. Not without cutting into my own time to do so.
We'll see if I estimated it OK or if I am working for less per hour than desired. Not that the later is a real problem, but I would rather think that I know how to estimate a job. Maybe I do. Maybe I don't. I will let you know.
In the meantime, the video I will show them is done exporting ..... OK, now it is time to upload it ... BRB ...
It is rather long at over nine minutes but you'll get the idea after the first couple of clips. Audio clips trimmed to 30 seconds with a fade out at the end. Don't even think about sticking around to the end. It just isn't worth it unless you are the one picking the music.
