    Hi All,
I am getting the following error when i create a jsf jsp page and build it in jdeveloper.
    Error:java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.TagAttributeInfo.<init>(Ljava/lang/String;ZLjava/lang/String;ZZ)V
when i build the application by simply creating jsp not jsf jsp then it works well.
Could you any tell me how to fix this? i searched in forums but i didn't find relevant solution.
    Thanks,
    Udhaya

    Hi!
Can you tell us what version of JDeveloper you are using, and what steps you took to create the JSF page? Like, write from scratch or use the JSF page wizard?
Also, can you check your project properties, and check that the JSF libraries are included, and JSF tag libraries set up?

  • J2se vs j2ee javax.servlet.* & javax.servlet.HTTPServlet

    Hi,
I guess I have a basic question....It is in j2se 1.4.2 API's one does not have the package javax.servlet.* or javax.servlet.HttpServer package/classes.How does one get to compile the java source file if it imports javax.servlet.* and javax.servlet.HttpServlet.,both of these are present in the j2ee API's.Help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    AS

    Yup, pretty basic.
    You're right - the javax.servlet and
javax.servlet.http packages are not part of the J2SE.
However, they are part of every servlet/JSP engine
you can find, including Tomcat and Sun ONE J2EE app.
    Look for a j2ee.jar or servlet.jar (or servlet-api.jar
if you're using Tomcat 5.0.x) and you'll find those
classes. Once you locate the proper JAR, all you have
to do is make sure it's in your CLASSPATH when you
    compile and run:
    javac -classpath .;/full/path/to/servlet.jar *.java

  • Creating a Servlet (javax.servlet.* & javax.servlet.http.*)

    Hello,
I am writing my first servlet and I need to include the following 2 packages (javax.servlet.* & javax.servlet.http.*). I have J2SE & J2EE installed on my machine, but I am still unable to compile because I am missing these important packages. Perhaps I have a partial install or I need to get these from another site? I did look in my lib & bin directories and searched my all my hard drives. I would appreciate if some one can help me out.
    Joyce

You need to make sure that servlet.jar is in your classpath or that you add it to your 'java' argument list when compiling your files. So if you're using Windows you'd do something like:
    c:\java -classpath c:\j2ee\servlet.jar MyServlet.java

  • Why i get servlet exception/login servlet not found exception  with .ear ?

I am able to deploy my war and after that generating the ear from that. both works fine in local system.
But when i run (Jboss as service[Java Service Wrapper]) it takes war without any problem. But with ear file i am getting servlet not found exception.I can't understand where this problem is coming from.
Even if i take my JSPWIki ear which is running well in production server, this also gives same error.
One more thing, the files, what i am running well in local system i.e. war and ear working fine. (can't test in production server so testing in same kind of testing server) there also getting login servlet not found exception. Even in same location other files which are deployed are working fine.out of 4 at least one is working fine.
I don't undersatnd where this whole problem is .
Please guiide me where sholud i concentrate to solve this problem.

I took the source code including the dll files already added to the project from here:
    spazzarama/Direct3DHook
The solution include two projects the one name Capture is class library type and the dll that make the exception is in this project.
I tried now to use the program Dependency Walker on this dll file and it found error/s:
    This is the log:
Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Error: Modules with different CPU types were found.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
    Screenshot:
It happen only when using/detecting Direct3D 11 . So far only in Direct3D 11, When i use it with a game that run Direct3D 9 it's working fine.
The question is how can i solve this dll problem ? Any site/place to download this dll from ?

  • Has anyone ever heard of this exception: javax.servlet.ServletException: Th

    Hi everybody --
Isn't this usually an SQLException? This exception is freaking me out because I didn't used to get it. The part of the code that uses the type column has always executed just fine. I'm starting to wonder of I'm running out of memory or something weird like that.
I would have liked to post code, but I'm running the JSP from Sun ONE Studio 4, and when this particular exception occurs, I can't just click on it to take me to the offending code. I truly don't know where this exception is coming from.
Does anyone know the solution to the exception, or how to get Sun ONE to take me to the bad code? Thank you all so much!!
