I am trying to download iTunes but it keeps saying I have to verify that I have sufficient privileges to start system services. I have downloaded iTunes without a problem before, and I'm the only user on my computer so I obviously have suffucient privileges.

I could not access itunes so i uninstalled it. Apple website suggested that i also delete certain Program files. I tried to delete Bonjour but was told that I was not able to do that. So I tried to install itunes but got the message that Service "Apple Mobile Device" failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I was given 3 options to click, Abort, Retry, Ignore. None of these options go ne further. Wondering what to do next. Since I uninstalled itunes I get message after I boot up the PC "MCVCRS is missing - try einstalling the programme" could this be part of my problem?

Go tot the Apple support troubleshooting area I had the same problem. You have to remove all the apple stuff in a particular order then reinstall/dowmload i tunes again it worked for me, a pain yes! But I now have Outlook loading issues so if anyone knows what that problem is and how to solve it please let me know

not able to install itunes in windows 7. Whwn I am installng setup the error displayed as "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services" and when i ignore this message and continue with installation of itunes and open the installed itunes in laptop it gaian shows the error "iTunes was not installed correctly. My iTunes became corrupted. I tried to upgrade to a new version, but things only got worse. Some of the error messages I received:
APSDaemon - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dl was not found. Rinstalling the application may fix this problem.
So, I deleted my downloads and past attempts and any .dl files I had and tried again. Now I get this message:

ON my PC, I attempted to download the update to itunes. It gave me an error message that I wasn't able to do that (and I don't recall the exact words) but telling me to delete the old itunes and download the new update, so I did. Ihave tried everything that Apple has asked and it keeps giving me the same message. First I get this message

I have deleted everything itunes/apple on the laptop, i am the administrator and created another account on my computer that was administrator and i have ran the fix it tool, and have reinstalled apple itunes and still get the messages. i have deleted all virus protectors, took my firewall down. and still same errors. i just got an iphone 4 with no music and I cannot afford to pay for my music when i can just put it on there.
