I bought an album on the iTunes store but one of the songs is not in my music library. How can i get it back?

I bought the One Direction album on the iTunes store recently, but one of the songs has not downloaded onto my Music Library. Does anyone know how to get this song without buying it?

You could try emailing iTunes support, giving them your order number, etc. or you could just take the hit and pay the 99p. I know what I would do.

Everthing was replaced including the information under iCloud under settings. My iPad now states that I do not have my iCloud account set up on my iPad as on the old one I did not.

Go to Settings>iCloud and set up the iCloud account you were using before by singing in with the same Apple ID. Then turn the data you were syncing with your iCloud account back to On, and if prompted, choose merge.

Delete the problem song(s) from library including file(s). Then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Select Music tab to re-download again for free.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

Not quite sure what info you need to answer this. I dont have all my music synced to icloud unfortunately...at least not that i'm aware of.

You either have an incredibly complex computer setup or I think you are confusing terminology here. If you have iTunes set to share your library with others in your iTunes preferences then other computers in the area will see it as an item when they are running their iTunes and have it set to check for shared libraries. Your husband is probably seeing this when running iTunes on his computer. You can disable this sharing on your computer and/or he can set his not to pick up shared libraries.
By the way, an iTunes account is something you log into when you want to buy something from Apple. On your computer it is simply your iTunes collection or your iTunes application. So you need to turn off sharing in your iTunes application preferences.
Your husband is seeing "his" iTunes collection when running iTunes, but it is possible he doesn't have anything in it if it is a brand new computer.

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

I also back up on icloud and tried looking on there on my laptop but there is only my icloud emails and not my pop3 force9 emails . There are all my contacts there butwhy does it wipe my emails and settings and how can i get them back.

I recently bought an album in the i-tunes store but by mistake I deleted it from the library, thinking that it would still be kept in the purchased folder. Before that I downloaded the album to my i-pod but I cant work out how to get it back from the i-pod to the library or purchased folder. Can you help me? Or can I download the album from the i-tunes store again without extra charges? Thank you

You deleted it from the library. Did you also delete it from the computer? Check your computer for files that end in .m4p Those are your purchased files. It is possible to remove something from the iTunes library without actually deleting the files.
If you did erase them, then there are instructions around here (search for iPod to iTunes, that should get you the instructions), or as mentioned, third party solutions on iLounge.
After you get the data back, consider making backups whenever your purchases get to the point that you would not want to buy them again. For me, that's pretty much whenever I buy an album

Assuming they are in your iTunes library, sync them back to your phone. If they aren't, you can redownload any music purchased from the iTunes store for free (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519), but you will have to re-import music from other sources to your iTunes library then sync it back to your phone.

Does anyone know how to find my missing songs? They are listed in my playlist but when I click on them I am told "the song could not be used because the origional file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" When I click on locate then I need to manually find it on my hard drive.
