I don't know what service options are available in India but if this helps I do know that once you purchase your Apple product the warranty is valid anywhere in the world.

There may be a defect in the phone. As you bought it in the US the only place you can get it looked at is in the US.
When you say you bought it new, unlocked did you buy it directly from an Apple store? If you did not it was hacked to unlock it, which could also be your problem. Apple stores are the only place in the US that sells legitimately unlocked iPhones. -

It will not work no matter how many times you choose to restore your iPod touch. If it is blocked than it is blocked. So prern do not restore your iPod. It will take up your time and will be a waste. Listen to stedman1 and Dave Sawyer. An by the way, Facetime is available on iOS 4...so again you are wrong. -

i bought a iphone 5s from gumtree. While trying to activate it i realised there was an account linked to it through an apple id. it doesnt say the phone is in lost mode and it still has warranty. am i able to get a fix from apple?

if the device is on ios 7.1 or above there's two things.
1) the device may be restored to factory settings - but the phone can't be activated. imei unlock is different to Iphone activatio. - your friend unlocked it to use any sim in any country. iOS 7 forces you to restore the phone and reimpit the original icloud login. This can only be solved if you a)forgot the login/changed it, and can prove to apple youre the owner; b) to get the original owner to deauthorize his account associated with the phone, on his/her computer.
2)if there's also a Passcode lock on the phone, and the last registered sim doesn't work (in the case of a stolen phone) - then it's impossible for you to do anything, full security = restore will lead to activation lock immediately. There's no bypass to it, the fake videos online only allow a bypass if the device was a 'jailbrokem' one - which would invalidate apple trying/ever wanting to help you.
if you know who the phone belonged to previously (usually comes up with the icloud username on it) then you can ask them to deactivate it.
otherwise, you have what we call - a brickb- won't even work as a super iPod touch

my new iphone5s's earphone doesn't work which was bought from USA last month,probably it was cause by falling down on floor insidentally one day before I came back china , the problem is ,the china apple store didn't accept the free repaire even the phone was bought only one month age, I was so disappointed and realized the iphone 5s is so fragile,although I previous iphone4 which was also bought from USA 4 years age, it also fell down many times, it still works well now. what can i do now? send it back to USA for repairing? if like that,it will take almost two month to finish the all processes,that not only waste the time spent on the way, also waste expense on the expense,the important prlblem is, I can't use the phone during the repairing~ please give me a solution as soon as you can ,thank you very much!
You can send it to someone you know in the US to have them take it in for service or you can get on a plane and take it there yourself. You can not ship it to Apple in the US for service.

I need to know how to delete the most recent version of Firefox. I JUST downloaded it tonight and my computer doesn't have that little edit bar to work with so I can download the proper Adobe player and my internet has been screwed up ever since I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I just want the old version of it back since I apparently can't download the Adobe stuff that is necessary to keep my computer safe from Hackers. It sure would have been nice to know there was an issue with the new Firefox Update BEFORE I uploaded it. I have Vista which is usually an issue with both Adobe and Firefox.
