Run the Cleaner tool to remove all the remnants of the previous installations and re-install Adobe Application Manager. You can download the Cleaner Tool from the below link:
http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Make sure that you select the right options while using Cleaner Tool to uninstall only CS6 and not the previous versions.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like what version of PS and whether there is other Adobe software on the system already.

Can not install Photoshop elements 10/ premiere 10

I can not install a 5 disk set of phothop elements 10/premiere elements 10.
I get thru the organizer 10 starts data 7 then rolls back installation for who knows what reason.
I have chated with 4 different techs. Each have instructed me t return after reboot or down load.
Have not been able to get a resolution.
I have copied disk to desk top, have created new user, havedone evverything asked of me by the techs and still can not install the software.
Anyone else got an idea?

Can not install Photoshop Elements 11 on windows 8

i got the following error message at the end of the installation of Photoshop Elements 11 :
and the installation erases all the copied data and closed.
I tried everything I saw on the web...
I cleaned all the registry, desinstalled all other adobe products, cleaned again, etc etc.
Please can somebody help ?

That is correct Das_Sad. CS2 will not run on Intel based processors under Mac OS. You will need to find a Mac computer with a PowerPC processor if you wish to run Creative Suite 2.

Ok, we have to assume that the tech guys somehow uninstalled your version 2.
When you say that you tried to install it again nothing happens, do you get as far as starting the installation?
If nothing happens when you insert the CD, it is possible that auto run has been inhibited for the CD drive. You could use Windows explorer to look at the contents of the CD. If you see an Install.exe or setup.exe, try double clicking on them to start the install.
There are usually two problems that are encountered when trying to install such an old version on a new computer system.
1) The installer objects to your version of Internet Explorer (requires version greater than 4.0 and you have 11.0)
2) Not enough free space - caused because modern disks are much larger than they were when elements 2 was released.
Have you seen either of those problems?

Thanks for sharing the files. The media_db file in the folder you shared is empty (it is just 1 KB in size). So, something has gone wrong corrupting the file. Do you have Casper Sky installed on your machine or any other third party software that you think might have caused this damage?
Just to be sure that this couldn't be a copy paste error, would you please check the size of the media_db.db file in the following path on your machine:
"/library/Application Support/Adobe/caps"?
If it is sure that the afrementioned file is corrupted, then installation/uninstallation of any adobe product could cause you trouble. Then, our options are:
1. Uninstalling adobe products & installing again on a cleaned up machine & take a back of the required folders for any such future instance
2. rename this folder and try intsalling PSE 12 & live with install/uninstall problems of rest of the products; the corruption of this file might also mean issues with updates for some.

Can not install Photoshop

Ok, I've been searching around for the last 4 days for help to get photoshop installed and Im getting frustrated. I have windows 7 and everytime I try to install Photoshop I get an "exit code 6" At about 10% of the installation. I've read alot of articles and did many things and It still has yet to work. Does anyone know a way, that will work, to get photoshop working on my pc?

Read this and this, follow the links listed there and if all else fails, provide the relevant install logs as well as more info on your hardware/ software.

I can not install Photoshop 5.0 from a disk on my PC

I have XP Professional and I used Photoshop 5.0 many years.
Until last week when the program suddenly failed.
I removed the program from my computor and tried to install again from my old disk.
But nothing happens though I'm able to install other programs like Acrobat Reader and Quick Time from the same disk.
Yet I succeeded to install the Photoshop program on my wife's computor from the same disk.
I'm not interested in other modern Photoshop versions.
Can anyone help?

Hi, I dragged the folder to the Trash PS6 beta and I still say there is a problematic version, not to do :/
