I cannot install Skype on my laptop.

Hi all, really need a help. In fact i have uninstall my skype just to update to a newer version. But the problem is that the older skype cannot be remove from my laptop and because of that I cannot install the new version. Finally, i don't have any skype on my laptop.

I'm not sure what error you are getting since you did not post one. You can try this removal/repair tool and see if it will fix it.

Next head to Windows Update and try stocking back on Windows Updates again. If you're a long way behind (sometimes this has been going on for months for people), you may need to do it in several batches. Basically, keep going back to Windows Update until it stops offering you new updates.
After you're stocked back up on Windows Updates, try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
(If you can't get Windows Updates to install, post back to let us know the error codes you've been getting on the most recent attempts at updates. Sometimes things are in such a snarl that we have to try a few different measures with them.)

This is a known problem, but we don't have a solution for it. If your device has the Toshiba Market app, you might be able to download a (possibly outdated) version of Firefox from there.

[SOLVED]Cannot install Skype - Libglapi

Hi. I've stumbled upon a problem I cannot fix. When I try to install Skype, I receive this error:

Cannot install itunes on my laptop even though it was previsouly installed

I used to have iTunes on my laptop and it worked fine until I had to download the new version. At first, I got a error back about a language issue so I unintalled and installed again. This time it will not install at all. I have tried on numerous occasions. Now when I install I get this message I have read some instructions on how to uninstall all of iTunes components, I have tried that and was able to uninstall everything except for 2 applications. AppleSupportApplication and AppleDeviceSupport. I cannot uninstall these 2. I get error messages when I try, the 1st one I get is then, this one and then the last 2. I get them for both components Please, please help me if you can

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component, such as Apple Application Support, won't install normally.

Can I run Skype through FireFox/Mozilla without installing skype on my laptop?

My laptop is running Windows Vista Home premium (SP2) and the Windows Installer has failed thus I am unable to install or un-install applications like skye. As a result I am looking for a way to run skype while I am unable to install it normally. Is there a plugin or other add on that will meet my needs?

It may be a good idea to fix the Windows installer so you won't run into further problems.
To fix the problem first try to re-register the Windows installer service.
To do this:
* Type Windows+R to bring up the run box.
* Open cmd by typing cmd' and press enter
* In cmd type: msiexec /unregister
* Then type msiexec /regserver
* Type exit to exit cmd after that try to run the installer again.
Let us know the results.

Cannot install adobe air on laptop Windows 7

Keep getting an administrator error. Cannot find any fixes. I hear many people having the same problem but cannot find a solution. Was troubleshooting with Microsoft last night for an hour and no luck. Please help on this. Thank you.

Before I try to explain to you what may have happened, I have to tell you that I have no knowledge at all about changes in the reg. database.
But I remember that in July 2011 I had some problems with my printer and PC and therefore wanted to bring the PC data back to an earlier date.
Therefore, I took a copy af some folders (pictures, documents and downloads) to be sure that they did not disappear.
I think I took a copy of above and put them in a Folder named: "Før gendannelse pga printersvigt" and this folder was placed on an external disc called
E:\ (at that time) as you will see from HKEY_CURRENT_USER........
At a later date, and I don't know why and how, the letter of the drive has been changed to F:\. And today the external disc is still called F:\
Hope you can understand what I mean and tell me how to make the necessary changes.

I Just updated mi Android to lollipop and what was my surprise Skype wasn't working so I unistalled it and tried to install it again but it can't be even downloaded, had tried several times and always get error code 495. Any ideas??? I do need it for my work meetings and familiar issues.

Can't install skype on Win XP SP3

Hello. I am trying to install skype using SkypeFull installer and I know Skype 7 will work on XP SP3 as I have other working computer with it. The installer starts and shows the loading bar but after a while it gives error message. System: AMD Sempron 2500+, 1.75GHz, 512MB, Windows XP SP3 It complains about some internal system files like dlls. 40 to be exact. What is wrong with your system is that you have an old CPU (AMD Sempron 2500+, 1.75GHz) without support for SSE2 instruction set. Skype 7.6/7.7 version will crash on such a system, but Skype 7.5 may work. http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/Cannot-install-Skype/m-p/4039905#M355091

We don't know what Apple plans on doing to change this (and it may not be just Apple but more likely the publishers, since Apple would, of course, do whatever it could to maximize sales/profits). Right now you can only read Apple books on mobile devices. Sure, buy them from Amazon if you want to read them on the computer. We don't work for Apple so we're pretty impartial on this kind of advice.
You might also see what your library can offer. My wife can browse the county library from her iPhone, borrow e-versions, and read books on it too. Free!

ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!

ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me
