I down loaded a new version of Itunes and now I cannot purchase music. It keeps asking to verify my account info which I have many times. Help!

I down loaded the new version of Itunes and now it will not allow me to purchase music. I have alidated my account information many times. Now it keeps asking me to do it over and over again.
I have had my account for a long time.

Do you currently have a credit card set up in your iTunes store Enter Payment Information screen?
If so, grab a recent statement for that card and check to make sure that the address that shows up in your Enter Payment Information screenexactly matches the address showing on your credit card statement. For example, if your address in the credit card statement says "Street", the iTunes screen has to also say "Street" (Not St or Str.) Also match the capitalisation of the address on your statement. (If it says STREET in the statement make it say STREET in the iTunes screen, not Street or street.)
Also make sure that your name in the iTunes screen exactly matches the one in your statement. (Say, if you've got a middle initial in the credit card statement name, you need one in the iTunes screen.)
After doing that, does that get you past the invalid address thing?
