I downloading a ringtone on my phone but can't find it. I actually did it twice. It isn't working when the person assigned to it calls also

I downloaded a ringtone on my phone and i can't find it. I did it 2 times also because I wasn't sure if it worked. When the person assigned to the song called it didn't work

Many ways to eject:
-dragging and dropping the icon for the CD into your trashcan
- Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the left mouse button until the disc ejects.
- Press the Eject button on your keyboard.
- Click on the Eject button in the menubar.
- Press COMMAND-E.
- Open the Terminal application in your Appl/Utilities folder. copy & paste the following:
/usr/bin/drutil eject
If this fails then try this:
- Boot the computer into single-user mode (hold down command - s through the boot process.) At the prompt copy & paste:
/usr/bin/drutil eject
Restart the computer enter reboot at the prompt or shutdown
- restart hold down trackpad button

Ringtones (along with audiobooks) are currently a one-time only download from the store. If you want it on your iPad then you will need to connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases (it shoudl copy over to the Tones part of your iTunes library), and you can then sync it to your iPad

I checked the status of the server and hard drive by booting off of the 10.4 installation disk, select utilities and disk utility.
I know very little about terminal, however I'm pretty good at dos so I can figure some things out if given some commands.

In Mavericks iBooks are now found and downloaded in the separate iBooks app.
As far as I understand, iBooks app is for the iPad and iPhone, while in iTunes on the MacBook Pro it is simply called "Books". This shoukd appear under the Library section on the left side of the iTunes window, toghether with Music, Movies, Audiobooks, Apps etc. If it does not appear, I have been told to go to the iTunes prefs, General Tab and check the view "Books" along with the other items (Music etc). But Books does not show there either. So that's where I am stuck.

To restore an iCloud backup to your phone, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Sign into your iCoud account, accept the terms and conditions, then choose the backup you want to restore to.
Note: your new phone must be running the same or higher version of iOS as your old one in order to restore the backup. If it isn't, update it in iTunes first.

Downloaded a game from iTunes Store, but can't find it in iTunes

I looked under the Games Tab and it wasn't there. I watched it download. It was there for a second and then it and the games tab were gone. It is Saved to the correct folder, but i cannot pull it up on iTunes to Sync it to my iPod. When i "Check my Purchaces" it tells me i've downloaded them all. Please help!

The Vista path will be a little different. Just drag the "gamename.ipg" file from windows explorer into the itunes library window.

I have created and used multiple music libraries but I now find that my actual song les have picked up a prefix on the file location of file://localhost.

Try this. Open one of your files. The window that contains your picture is named at the top. Command click on the name and you'll see the entire path starting with its name and then moving to the folder, the folder it is contained in, etc all the way to down to the hard drive volume name. This should tell you where to find the folder.

Thanks for the question. The following resource provides troubleshooting information if you have forgotten your passcode:
iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode

If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer
If you see one of following alerts, you need to erase the device:
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
"You haven't chosen to have [device] trust this computer"
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
5. iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

Installed Myspace but can't find it.....

I installed the Myspace app to my phone but can't find the icon anywhere. I know it uploaded because it's in my applications list but the icon isn't on my home screen. I tired rebooting by taking out the battery and such, but NOTHING! Can anyone help? Thanx in advance.

Ok, so I've been struggling with this issue for months. I was looking around today on here and didn't find much information. But, I took a couple of different things and tried them. I'm not sure WHICH helped, but here is what I did and MySpace just uploaded successfully on my Blackberry Curve.
I deleted the MySpace Application from the App List (Options (The wrench)-Advanced Options-MySpace-Menu Button-Delete)
I restarted my phone
I changed the theme from the AT&T to the BB Dimension Zen (Options-Theme- BB Dimension Zen)
I logged onto my Browser and went to www.myspace.com
I clicked on the "Download MySpace for your Blackberry" or whatever it says
Before I clicked "Download", I checked the "Set Application Permissions" box.
I clicked "Download"
It took me to the Application Permissions
I changed the first two from "Custom" to "Allow"
I hit the back arrow on my phone
I chose "Save"
It started downloading
When it was finished, MySpace was listed under my Applications and is WORKING!!! HALLELUJAH! I'm not sure WHICH of those seemingly MANY steps made it work, but it did!

Tones is the new name for Ringtones. If the entry is missing in the left-hand column of iTunes then enable it from Edit > Preferences > General tab.
If your existing tones are not syncing properly to your iOS device then uncheck the option to Sync Tones from the Tones tab when the device is connected, sync the device, check the option and sync again.
