my old laptop crashed and a copy of the profile from firefox was copied from the crashed hard drive. I need to know how to retrieve my bookmarks from this profile file.
Hopefully he didn't copy the Firefox program folder, but the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] in the hidden %AppData% location.

I had purchased an audio book from itunes on my iPad and when I synced my iPad with my computer, my audiobook disappeared. I have already purchased this audiobook, so now I just need to know how to get it back because it is not on iPad anymore. If you purchased it on your ipad, then you would have to transfer it to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.

My Partner has been given an ipone 4 from her father.
I have managed to delete his email and set hers up, what I need to do is delete his contacts entirley..would this be able to be done if she connected her ipone to the computer and made herself an apple I.D or is it a matter of reset ?

I assume you say "no internet" access because of no browser.
This terminal command will download Safari Version 5.0.5 to your home folder from terminal.app ( no browser) copy and paste:

Any music purchased through the iTunes store can be downloaded again for free as long as you are signed in with the Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Any other music you had in iTunes should be easily accessible in your system back up or from the CDs you ripped from originally.

I have several XML files that I will need to import into one Excel spreadsheet. I have been able to figure out how to import an XML file to an Excel file but when I import a second XML file, the contents of the second XML overwrite the Excel spreadsheet.

Events disappeared from my calendar and I need to know how to get them back. Please help!
When I merged my calendar to iCloud all of my events that weren't repeated disappears and all the other events messed up. Is there a way to fix this, preferably not using itunes on the computer. Thank you!
Synced photos can't be deleted directly on the device - instead they are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.

I'm not very good with computers and need help. My LR 4 and LR 5 upgrade are on disk but my new MacBook Pro doesn't use disk. How do I load LR on my new computer? Also, how do I get the photos from LR on my old computer to the new computer?
You can download Lightroom thru the link(s) below. If you only want to install the version 5 upgrade you do not need to install 4 first - you likely just need to provide the serial number for it when you activate 5.
