I have a IPAD 3rd generation and am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with my window live contacts and calendar. It does the contacts but issues message that no supported calendar application found. Windows is 64 bit Itunes is 10.6

Any ideas on how to get the IPAD and IYUNES to sync the calendar?

Captivate is e-learning development software not a dedicated video convertor, you are better off trying something like Adobe Media Encoder or Super.

If you are using iChat it will not chat with MSN (or similar) buddies without some work

The app store icon says I have 7updates waiting for me but when i go to the app store to update all i get is a blank page. I've already signed out of my account and restarted the ipad. That did nothing. Any help is appreciated.

I've purchased songs thru iTunes Store and they will not sync to my iPhone 5. They show up as if they are in the cloud but wont download to my iPhone, Why?

So some of my purchased songs from iTunes are not syncing to my iPhone. Is there a setting or format issue? If so, how do I change it? The songs show up on my iPhone as if they synced, but do not play. There is an icon to the right saying it needs to be downloaded from iCloud and when I click it, it wont download.

HT4061 ive just got i phone4s and im trying to sync my old i tunes acc. to it, its on and plugged in to my pc, i tunes is running, its saying syncing data to iphone step 5 of 5, but has been the same since 7 last night! any ideas what im doing wrong?

Changing from iPad 3rd generation to iPad Air 2

I have an iPad 3rd generation, 64GB (wifi + cellular), and want to now get an iPad Air 2.
Questions:
1. How do I transfer everything from the older iPad, including e-mail settings and archives, and all the other personal stuff like contacts and downloads?
2. How do I completely and safely remove all my personal information, e-mails and everything else from the older iPad, so that I can give it to someone else?
I would appreciate any advice and help.

To transfer data to your new iPad Air 2 create an iTunes backup of your old iPad on your computer and setup your new iPad Air 2 with iTunes using the backup to restore your new iPad. ICloud backup can also be used for this but will be slower.
To give the old iPad away turn off Find My IPad in Settings > Cloud and then use Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings

Note: My iPhone 4S is on the same cellular data plan (unlimited) with the same carrier provider and I am able to use & share the Personal Hotspot on it.

Correct. Carriers sometimes support personal hotspot on the phone but not on the iPad. I think AT&T does this.

Do you have Sync over wifi enabled for this device?
Click on the device name, Scroll down the summary page to options and the second box is Sync Via Wifi. If you do not want this uncheck it and click apply

Uh - never mind. I figured it out - the "documents" section (still no "my documents, file, or save as ) has a choice of date or name and when I changed that section I was allowed to rename. Contrary to the opinion above, I see no reason whatsoever why you can't set up the new iPad from the backup of the old one. Obviously you will have app updates to make and complete and that sort of thing, but if you want to retain all of your app data and device settings (some of which will change because of the updated iOS), I would certainly restore from the backup first.
If you find that to be problematic, you can always start all over again.
