Try rebuild the library:
Hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys and launch iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

I'm coding a program that takes a input like this :

So I wrote a code like this :

But unlike I expected, the program did not pass the while loop.
When I observed in debugging mode, when "br.readLine()" has no more strings to read,
the whole program just becomes idle doing nothing, and it does not proceed further.
Is there any problem with my code there? I've been trying to figure it out for hours... Please help!!!

It's so frustrating...The computer doesn't have a mind reading input, how is your program supposed to know you have finished typing the input?
If you put the data in a file and redirect it into your program on the command line it will work (because the file knows where its end is)
Your program could instead assume that a blank line is you end of input.

I have a little problem with recursion.

I have a HashMap, and I've written a method to fill it up recursively. The map size is 20.

Map size = 3

Is there a problem with doing: if(map.size()==20)
   return;?

yeah that was a typo.. my actual code seems to be fine that way.
And it wouldn't compile unless I had a fillMap(*no value*) method either, right?
I still don't get what is wrong. Here's some new code

May have a little problem

On friday last week I had BT come out and fit a new cable from the telegraph pole (just outside my back garden) to my house. The original has finally given up the ghost and I lost the ability to get a dial tone.
However, prior to this I was getting 38down and 7.5 up, great. I'm lucky in that I'm not far from the cab.
When the old cable started to play up I lost about 0.5 to 1mb in down speed.
After the BT chaps fitted a nice new shielded cable my speed dropped to 32.5down. When I asked about this they said that it would take a while to stabilise, fair enough and the engineer had been commenting on the excellent signal strength so I thought I had nothing to worry about.
But there Previously, speedtest.net would accurately locate me and set my test server to Maidenhead or London, now it sticks me on a Sittingborn server.
I decided to leave this until my speed increase came though which it did today. Absolutely no change to the down speed, my up speed has increased to 2mb and pings are pants too.
However, I'm not going to pass judgement just yet because I think my line's not been set back up correctly. Sorry for whittering on, but how do I go about getting this checked?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
P.S. I only have a single phone plugged in at my property and I run cable to the router, not wireless.

Thank you for all your replies. I did a restart of the modem and router yesterday after reading here that it may be required for the upgrade to start working correctly. Checked again today, there's no change in speed at all for down, still 32.5. Up has go to 12. I'm was a bit inaccurate before, there was a prior check on the line two days before I got me visit as en engineer left a note asking for me to get an appointment. It was after this first engineer had done his checks that noticed the drop in speed. Sorry for changing the details, I'm not in the best of health at the moment and forgot about it.
At the moment I'm a little peeved, all I have to show for the upgrade is a slower download and a longer contract
I'm still not sure what to do, I honestly think that my settings were in some way disrupted at the point the an engineer traced the original the telephone fault to the drop wire.
I would be grateful for any help or advice on how to proceed.

No, a buzzing sound isn't normal for a Mac Mini. Mine is so quiet I hardly know it's on. Since it's new, you might want to take it into an Apple Store (if you have one nearby) and have them take a look.

I have a little problem. I have 2 threads and each of them gets

a pointer to class A.
I mean:

class q2 extends Thread

q1(this);
q2(this);
each of them gets a pointer to the same object.
The problem is somehow when q1 update one variable in A , q2 doesn't get the update.

The code you provided won't even compile. I know you were just trying to simpify it to show the heart of what's going on, but you went to far.
Trumpetinc is right--you're probably passing two different thises to q1 and q1.
Post more code, or just take that suggestion and see where it's ocurring.

I've run into the same thing. Some text messages show up on my AT&T bill even though they were between my iPhone and another iPhone (or other iDevice) also running iOS version 5 or greater.
According to this Apple help document - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3529 - the iMessages protocol works between two iDevices that have WiFi or 3G connectivity, otherwise SMS or MMS will be used. The document doesn't specifically say, but I assume that means if one of the iDevices has a poor cell signal and drops down from 3G to Edge or a lower level of connectivity, then SMS or MMS will be used.

I have my hosting with godaddy and I'm not the most "technical" person, but I did the thing with the CNAME and have my .mac site with iweb '08 so that when you go to http://www.cardsfanzone.com everthing is kosher.
However, if you just go to http://cardsfanzone.com without the WWW it takes you to a flash vid I had uploaded quite awhile back. I used to have the domain FORWARDED but I checked on godaddy and it's not set up that way anymore. Any lamen's terms ideas???

Have you tried deleting that file from the server you uploaded it to? I am guessing it is at the root of your web space, therefor it shows up first when someone uses that url without the WWW.
It seems the file is hosted free by godaddy, so it must be on their server.

I have this little problem...

i use these thumb drives to put my music sets on. and they work good but for some reason all my files become locked when i copy them to this drive..its the only drive thats mac journaled..not sure if thats the cause. but i cant edit my files in locked mode and i edit every file singlehandedly. and there is tens of thousands of them..i need a program that can unlock thousands of seperate files at a time..and open the permissions so that i can add regions and other info to them and it will be saved..i use serato final scratch appilcation to edit files..

Usually the Color mode is the one you want for the color replacement tool, you
might have it set to luminosity or your trying replace black or white colors.

You are actually making your users key in things like
"\026"? Not very user-friendly, I would say. But
assuming that is the best way for you to get your
input, or if it's just you doing the input, the way to
change that 4-character string into the single
character that Java represents by '\026', you would
use a bit of code like this:char encoded =

DrClap has the right idea, except '\026' is octal, not hex. So change the radix from 16 to 8. Unicode is usually represented like '\u002A'. So it looks like you want:String s = "\\077";
System.out.println((char)Integer.parseInt(s.substring(1), 8));Now all you have to do is parse through the String and replace them, which I think shouldn't be too hard for you now :)
