I have a website that I want to save my login details but there is no "key" in the top left-hand corner. How do I get around this? I am using version 35.
This particular website previously had a "wrong" password. No matter how many times I changed the password, the website failed to issue a "Changed password" update. So I removed it altogether. Now the website doesn't appear in any of the Options screens and there is no "key" in the left hand corner so I am unable to save either login or password. I am using the latest version of Firefox ... ver. 35.0.1
Did you check the exceptions?
You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
*Click the "[[Site Identity Button|Site Identity Button]]" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
*Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
*Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

Mostr f my photos have a question mark in the top left hand corner. When I go to <file> and click on reconnect the missing files are searched for and found but the reconnect button is not active. What can I do. I m unable to edit these photos.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
It sounds like you are in the Elements Organizer that came with your version of Premiere Elements.
That ? in the top left corner of the thumbnail indicates a file that is no longer in the hard drive save location as it was
when a copy of the file was included in the Elements Organizer.
1. Do you know that the file(s) still exist? Could you have moved, deleted, or renamed file/folder involved? Can you go
to the hard drive save location for the file and actually find it there?

I have an iphone 5s and updated it to the new 7.1 software. A day later I go and use my phone and in the top left hand corner it says no service. i have tried restoring the pone, resetting the network settings and also a hard reset as well. It gains service for a short amount of time but then it loses service. Everyone else on my plan has service and their phones are completely normal but they never did the update... what can i do to fix this problem?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

Since I upgraded my iPad from iOS5 to ios7 my iPad will only work on one network.
However in the top left hand corner is says no service with 3G next to it.
I took it to Apple istore in clearwater mall and they couldn't help me.

Kind RegardsI have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

In the welcome video there is an orange Firefox button in the top left hand corner - I do not have one. This button appears to be central to the use of Firefox.
The Firefox Button acts as an alternative to the regular menubar (File, Edit, View etc.), so if you can see the menu bar you're not missing any functionality.
On Windows XP the default is for the menubar to be shown instead of the Firefox button, but you can switch between the button and the menubar via the View -> Toolbars -> Menu bar option.
With the Button enabled, you can access the regular menubar by pressing the Alt key.

The examples shown for Firefox 4 and above show a browser with the orange Firefox tab on the top left corner.
In my case, the browser continues to look - and operate like the older versions.Go to View (or just right-click on any empty space of Firefox's panels - for example, near the tabs) and turn off the Main Menu Panel. You'll see what you're looking for.

- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Recently I updated to Maverick -- I also updated Numbers, Pages and Keynote. NOW, I cannot open my pages documents. I get a message that I need a newer version of Pages. I have the newest version (5.2). How do I get around this to view my documents?
You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

I have an iPad2 and I can't delete some apps I was downloading but froze. I can get the apps to wiggle, but there is no X in the upper left corner for deletion. I have tried re-setting and didn't work. Help will be appreciated.
See if anything here helps.
If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad. -
Want to install XMavericks on Mackbook but do not have apple apps store in apple icon on top left hand corner of screen. All information tells me to click on this icon in order to install XMavericks. but I can't. What csn I do? Please help a computer learner. Thank you from Carmel
You would need to find out if your computer could even run Mavericks 10.9 before going through the hoops to get it; first thing would be to buy the retail Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD install disc, those sell for about $19. Then be sure to backup your system on the computer to an external archive (hard disk drive) then try & do the upgrade to 10.6; and then use Software Update in the system to look for update parts for it, including 10.6.8.
Also a later version of Flash player/plugin and other parts. A newer browser such as Firefox, too, may be an idea if the included Safari is not up to date.
Considerations include enough chip RAM installed, depending on what model MacBook you have this can vary; and enough free-space on the hard disk drive for the system and applications to work correctly; as OS X does use free space or unused capacity as temporary files and virtual memory to supplement installed chip RAM.
You can use a 'serial number lookup service' online to help determine the MacBook build model/year and whatever update or upgrade it may be capable.

Some early models of MacBook (coreduo 1.83, 2.0) have an upper limit on the OS X version they can use, later models with the core2duo may also have a few among their vintage that may not be suitable for Mavericks. There are several users of these who do not go past Snow Leopard if they have no newer applications, since older applications with Rosetta helping them run, won't work in a later system w/o Rosetta.
So there are considerations.
