I have run bootcamp, and installed windows 7. I love it but, the reason I installed it is to play games not compatible with a mac. When using windows it lets me install my games but won't load them when I want to play them. Help"

I have 3 Boot Camp installs on three different laptops (2006 MacBook-Win XP, 2008 MacBook Pro-Win Vista, 2010 MacBook Pro Win 7).
I am an FPS gamer and have to know the limitations of the hardware when it comes to being able to play what I wish. I can play only old games (pre 2004) on the XP machine and more recent games on the Vista machine. But to play the newest games I need the Win 7 machine and it even has to be set at less than the higher settings.
My question to you is what Mac are you using and does it match the minimal system requirements stated on the box or in the manual. If the hardware specs can not be met then it will not load as has been my experience.

You run Windows in Parallels or Fusion. Then in Windows you install the program.

Ive installed io7 on my ipad and now itunes (onwindows 8) wont recognise the device (the icon next to the iTune store icon), have run diagnostics and everything ok. My ipad asks if the computer is trustworthy then it trys to search for photos/videos and says none found! I have done everything....................Help please

My mac has OSX version 10.8.2 and I'm try to install an aiport express base station which requires 10.5.7 or later. Yet when I try to install the software it says the base station is not compatible with my mac version - how do I resolve?
You already have the software installed that you need if you have 10.8.2.
If AirPort Utility cannot find the Express, that is another matter. More software is not needed. More troublehooting is needed.
Power up the Express for a full minute
Hold in the reset button on the Express for 7-8 seconds and release
Allow a full minute for the Express to restart
Click the AirPort icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Look for a heading of New AirPort Base Station
Just below that, click on AirPort Express

i've just bought a new macbook pro retina. i am using a usb not assocciated with this mac. when i try to download movies onto the usb it keeps coming back saying its full when i know there is plenty of space left. what can i do to correct this problem? do i need to buy a new usb? thanks

then open disk utility and reformat it
as mac journaled if you only want to use it for a mac
if you want to use it for both mac and PCs, select the partition tab, choose 1, format exfat and MBR under options

I download Firefox 4.o and drag to app folder then to dock. When I double click on the dock icon I get a message the forefox is not compatible with this version of OSX (which is OSX10.4.11). What gives?
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

After erase and install my photo library won't load - please, please help
I hope you can help. I backed up my mac then installed snow leopard - I had many issues with this and decided to erase and install normal leopard. I copied the iphoto library from my ext. HD to my pictures folder and thought once I opened iphoto that they would load but they haven't. I looked in my pictures folder and there were two iphoto libraries: the one I just copied and another much smaller one with (original) by the side of it. I did the whole hold down 'apple + control' on starting iphoto and 17 photos imported, I presumed these came from the (original) library and so I moved that library out of the pictures folder. I started iphoto again holding 'apple + control) and again the same 17 photos. I know my photos are here somewhere and they are so precious to me. I would so grateful if someone could help.

To choose a Library is simply hold the +option (or alt)+ key on launch.

Newest version of itunes not compatible with my Mac Pro 15" and no new updates available for my Mac
I was able to dowload and install itunes on my windows but was unable to on my Mac due to an error mesage that states that it needs a newer version to install Itunes

it says "OS X Update could not be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered...". i tried download OS X update from support.apple.com/downloads. after installing, it just a normal reboot. my mac still in OS X 10.10.2. and then i download OS X installer from Mac App Store. when i want to install it, it says same. could not be verified. my time in my mac is automatically set by apple server. how can i fix this?

Firefox upgraded automatically; in doing so, it stated that Constant Guard Security Suite, which is provided by Comcast, my internet service, is not compatible, and had to be disabled. unfortunately that fix for my camera Powershot G6 does not work or apply as the view pictures switch is different on G6 is not usable during download as once you plug in DC/USB cable it turns off, and makes no diff and problem still exists exactly as you just described.

it has been 17 days since apple promised to get back to me within 3-5 days hopefully with a solution, but I have still not heard from them.
They blew me off, i guess, probably i will have to wait for new Yosemite OS update, which they pre-warned me could take as much as 6 months.
I cannot believe apple released this new update with such major bug issues for camera downloads and that horrible "Photos" pgm which has all sorts of downgrades in features, usefulness and new bugs compared to iPhotos which I just finally got used to and was much better software.
I am starting to lose faith in Apple and I am getting that Microsoft "FEEL" like I used to have when I was a PC user, which was why I originally switched to Apple computers in first place.
Oh well got my fingers crossed here.
Thankfully the memory card reader solution is working well, but cost me $45. -

I own an iPhone 5s and wasn't having problems with it when I got it less than a month ago. But now I don't receive notifications of apps like Whatsapp and Snapchat, even though I have them all enabled in the Notification Center. It's not that big of a problem, but it bothers me that I need to be checking them all the time to see if I have new messages, since nothing shows on my lock screen or even makes noise. Should I just delete them and download them again? Thanks in advance.Try doing a reset, hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If a reset doesn't help try deleting and reinstalling the facebook app.
Don't know what email account you use, but yahoo push notification isn't working. -
If anyone has any idea I'd really appreciate it. I just bought the iphone 5 and recieved the new nano as a birthday gift and now I'm up a creek without a paddle b/c I can't plug them into my laptop without the new itunes that runs on Mountain Lion.
