If it's just the appsthat you've downloaded from the store that you are having problems with then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.

If it's music purchased from iTunes then connect the iPod to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, or you may be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage (whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you are in, and whether it's still in your store).
For music from other source (e.g. copied from sources), then if you don't have a copy of it anywhere (e.g. on an external drive) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Hi there I tried to do a home share with my laptop, old computer and new computer. For some reason I can't get the new computer to so show my music on iTunes (even the stuff I purchased). How do I get the music to the new computer? I would like to give my kids the old computer and take all my stuff off of it. Does this make sense because I don't know if I am describing it correctly. Photos taken by and saved to the iPod are included in the backup that iTunes makes evetime you sync or if do a manual or iCloud backup.
Per the following the backup includes:
iTunes: About iOS backups
Camera Roll (Photos, screenshots, images saved, and videos taken. Videos greater than 2 GB are backed up with iOS 4.0 and later.)
Note: For devices without a camera, Camera Roll is called Saved Photos.
Thus if you backed up after the photos were taken yuo can restore an iDevice from that backup

My old PC crashed. All of my songs and photos are on my iphone. I want to transfer my (1) photos to my new computer, and (2) my 2800 songs (only 300 or so of which I purchased through iTunes) to iTunes on my new PC. I have tried everyhting! I can see the about 300 songs (must be the ones I purchased on iTunes) in iTunes on my new PC. I can see the other 2500 songs in iTunes on my new PC, but they are in gray font and I can't play them. I need to clean songs and photos off of my iphone ASAP because it is full and doesn't work well, but I don't want to do so if there is a risk that I will loose them or have to reload 300 music CDs to my new computer.

I need to reinstall the LinuxO.S. on the main Sync Computer, how to keep safe the data and transfer them on the new installation?

Simply I need to reinstall the Linux O.S. on the main FIrefox Sync computer, changing distro.
I would like if it is possible to recreate the same Main configuration on the new Firefox installation without loosing all the stored Sync data and keep synchronized all the others PCs.

I have a ipod mini from 2005, it will only work on my charger. I did get a new ipod 4touch, how do i get the music to the new one if i don't know the password of the mini. My ex-husband set it up for me, i not aboout to call and ask for the password.

I don't think the password will matter, because you can't use anything on the iPod or in iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
The simple software "lock" used on iPods should not prevent you from off-loading the song files. Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can do a Restore on the iPod to give it a fresh start and sync it (and the iPod touch) as desired.
NOTE: For songs purchased by you from the iTunes Store, you can also re-download them to your computer at no cost, from the iTunes Store Purchased screen. The link to Purchased is on the iTunes Store Home screen, under QUICK LINKS.

If you mean you want to sync your music from your computer to your iPhone you need to disable iTunes Match on the iPhone. Go to Settings > Music and set to iTunes Match to OFF (not green). You may need to wait a few minutes for the change to register with iTunes. Connect the iPhone via USB/Thunderbolt and sync the music.

If you right mouse and select Get info it will show you the Apple ID used to purchase these songs.
Usually the name of an apple id is based on the email. So knowing that you may have forgotten the Apple ID password.
