I have two iTunes install errors

R6034 and Windows 1114
The message tells me to contact the application's support team.
Also, R6034 indicates a C++runtime error
Also, something about having admin privleges. (I am administrator and only user.)
Any ideas?

You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.

I'm sorry I just saw the last post. I had two users on my hard drive, one for me and one for my daughter, but I am not sure what you mean by partioning my external????? I have heard the term before, but don't know how to do it. I am having serious crashing issues with this computer and believe I really need to do a clean install. no problems with ITunes on Dell Inspiron Windows 7 until yesterday. ITunes version 11.0.2. iphone won't connect stating required software is not installed. uninstall and install 64 bit version of iTunes. I have 64 bit version already. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times already. When re-installing ITunes get error message c:\programdata\34be82c4-e596-4e99-a191-52c6199ebf6\x64\difxinst64.exe. file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. please install or create an association in the Default Programs control panel. iTunes install continues after the difxinst64.exe error message but then get the iphone cannot be used error message again. therefore, I can't sync my iphone with iTunes until I figure this out.

I am a PC Tech and had a customer with this issue. Ran across this post in my search and ended up finding the solution on my own. The problem isn't with the iTunes software but the installer for the GEARAspi drivers. Really the issues is with the file type asssociations in the windows registry. On the system I was working on the HKCR key for .exe should point to the exefile key but pointed to nothing. To fix it create a new txt document and paste the following in (only paste what is in between the [code][/code] tags):

I have had ITunes installed on my laptop since before Christmas. This week I started getting a pop up message saying "ITunes was not properly installed, etc." Is there any easy way to fix this problem or do I need to uninstall and reinstall? If I go the un/reinstall route, will I lose all loaded and purchased music? Also, how to I keep my IPod from losing all the songs on it when I reconnect it for the first time? Thanks for any help!

I tried my black OS X 10.4.6 CDs on a G4 yesterday specifically to see if an install from disk 1 only is possible. Sadly it is not. It requires about 400 GB from disk 2 no matter how minimal you try to make it. My disk 2 contains the following and the install needs everything except languages:

Sign into whichever account you want to use for purchasing.
Authorize the computer for both account to listen to the content.

It is a yes and no answer. Yes you can but you cannot have them in the same iTunes library or one of the accounts cannot be associated for 90 days. You would need to have either a separate user or separate iTunes library to have both Apple ID’s on the same computer.

I have two macs so I obviously have two itunes libraries. I have purchased things on both my desktop and my laptop UNDER THE SAME ACCOUNT.

To share the iTunes content between your computers, just enable Home Sharing from iTunes > File > Home Sharing.
You'll still have to sync the iPhone with just one iTunes library because of the copyright restrictions that iTunes must follow.

You want to uise the newer account with the iPad?
Settings > Store.
Tap account, sign out then sign in with the account you want.
