I keep getting this notice "my battery draining faster than before" and to click ok to install battery doctor.  How do I get rid of this message without selecting it

It's from http://secureandroid.obi Apple iPad 2 alert!  How do I get rid of this annoying notice.

Don't go to that website is the best advice I can give.

  • IPhone 3GS battery drains FASTER than iPhone 3G - Charges SLOWER!

I'm confirming the BATTERY life issue that others are experiencing in the IPhone 3GS I received and have been using since this past Friday.
Step 1 Solution: Condition battery by draining and charging 3X.
Step 2 Solution: go to Apple retail store and ask to swap the handset due to battery life issue.

Your step 1 solution is a great starting point. Keep in mind MOST if not all Lithium Ion batteries require several COMPLETE charge/discharge cycles before they attain their highest capacity.
My 3G iPhone got its BEST battery life about 3 weeks after I got it. Only recently (11months later) has the battery started to get weaker. Even still, my 3GS battery after 2 days still lasts longer than my 3G does...
Keep it working. Give it a week and then see how it goes.

  • HT4623 my battery is draining faster than normal AND my phone is rebooting on its own.

since i updated to iOS 6, my phone is killing the battery, and i am getting random reboots.  has anyone else experienced this?

Basics from the user manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.  Try these in order until your phone is fixed.

  • I had Zotero connect to this with my older Version, it automaticlly upgraded and now I seem to have lost it, how do I get it back?

I need to get my zotero back. It has all my sources for my master's thesis which is due in two to three weeks. www.zotero.com is no help. The button for it no longer shows in the bottom of the screen when I open up Firefox. The automatic Firefox upgrade seems to have destroyed my zotero files with all of my bibliographic entries. I need to get this back ASAP! I really do not want to have to take the time to redo the entire thing. www.zotero.com is no help. I sign in and my library has nothing in it. They are no help as they just tell me to down load it again.

  • When I open Safari I get a ipad giveaway hoax that locksup the system and I cannot do anything but close safari, how do I get past this hoax?

Not sure how to get around a hoax about winning an Ipad, cannot click away to a new page, the home page no longer loads etc... All I can do is open and close safari.  Three seperate windows open up, two that talk about the Ipad and one little box that says click here to accept.

Which OS X version are you running?
To prevent the loading of the nasty stuff, try this -
Click the Safari icon in the Dock, then immediately press and hold Command-. (Command-periodkey). This should allow Safari to load and run, but prevent it from loading any specific page.
Then go to Safari's Preferences (in the Safari menu) and check your Homepage setting. You may need to redo it.
Before going anywhere on the web, I would also clear the History.

  • After updating my iPhone 5 to ios 7 my battery drains quicker than before is it a bug?

Before the update my fone would last the whole day now after iI got off of work it was dead it's a pain dealing with this is it a bug or what??

I had the same thing yesterday. After google gave me nothing and after I was sure my phone had enough charge to restart, I did a reset on my phone...
Holding down the Power button, volume button and selector button on the front - for about 30 secs (or untill I knew the beeping had stopped).
I cant remember if I then restarted it or it it restarted itself, but now its back to normal! No memory loss from the phone either.
Freeked me out as its a new iphone 4s but glad to have it back! Without having to take it to get fixed by a pro.
    Hope that helps

  • I want to update to ios5.1.1 but i read that it will make my battery drain faster than ios 5.01

    is that right?
    i have iphone 4s ios 5.0.1

Apple is not going to produce a software update that is going to set you back, and it wouldn't be created if there was anything negative about it. Here is some info on the batteries

  • Battery dying faster than normal and I have been to the Apple Store and battery is fine

Is anyone else experiencing this? Both my iPad and my iPhone 5 started to have the battery die 2x faster after the latest upgrade. I have reset it without losing data and I am about to reset one of them back to original. Any one have any suggestions? I am thinking that one of my apps is trying to always load or search for wifi but not sure and don't know how to figure out which one it is.
I have been to the Apple store and they have checked my batteries and both are fine. The staff suggested that I let the battery die right down and completely charge it and then shut it down for a few seconds. so that the device is " clean" and then turn it back on but that didn't work at all.

You can poke around in the settings. There's a lot of stuff defaulted to on that you may not need. Such as notifications. Background app update, background app update. Try turning those off and see if that helps.

  • How can I get rid of this Lollipop update?  My phone drains faster than it can take a charge!

I've just spent 4 hours on the line w/ Verizon support agents who were all very nice, but nobody could solve my problem.  Without anything else happening on my phone, I hit an icon to launch an app, and it takes like 2 minutes for anything to happen.  The battery drains faster than it can get charged in SAFE MODE!
Is there a way to go back to the old OS without rooting?

Thanks.  I have been using the built-in battery monitor as well as the application manager.  It helps seeing the processes that are chewing away at your phone's RAM and battery, but at this point, it's not even helpful anymore.
I don't think 'Samsung.Settings' is something I can disable on my phone and that is what's hogging up 80% of my phone's resources.  (Fresh boot and all)
What really irks me is that I've never signed up to be a BETA tester for Samsung which is basically what we all are doing... Factory reset, remove all apps, add each app back individually, find what app(s) are causing the problems, etc.
No - this should have been vetted out long before they decided to push out an OS update that has no backward motion of loading the previous OS...

  • Battery drain faster? wifi+verizon 3g

    Hi,
I have 32GB wifi+verizon 3g model of ipad 2. First few weeks I turned 3g off and had wifi always on. Usually I could get battery to drop 1 percent by using it for 6 - 9 minutes.
Recently, I don't know why, it starts to drain faster (4 minutes, 1 percent). I checked the forum, the internet. Some people reported the similar problem. So I tried:
    1. turned everything off: push notification, location service, even wifi....
    2. recalibrate
    3. kill almost all apps in memory for multitasking
    4. turn off PING
    5. restore/reset
    6. update to the latest software
Nothing above helps.... Of course if I use my ipad 2 in a room with a dim light then it could last longer, but in a normal lighting room, it just drains faster than before!
Why?? Please let me know anything else I could try. Or should I just go to apple store and get a replacement?

If a battery is rated for 10 hours (600 minutes), then theoretically, it will lose one percent every 6 minutes.
If you are losing an average of one percent every 4 minutes and you turned off everything in the list you posted, you may have a problem. If you can, take it to an apple store for testing. You can make an appointment on line at: www.apple.com/retail

After updating the iphone 5 to IOS 6.1.3 battery drains fast. Also it takes more time to change battery status from Red to Green. Any solution?

  • My photo want sync and my you tube doesn't work after update and my battery drains fast.

this new update doesn't work like i should work my photo doesn't upload my you tube doesn't work & my battery drain faster than ever now

Synching new photos from iPhone to the new Photos app on the iMac is incredibly slow. Placeholders for the photos do appear but the content stays white (initially) then black. As an example, I started the Photos app some 15 minutes ago and am still waiting for the synch of merely 11 photos to complete.
Since I agreed to pay 4.99 euro per month to extend online storage to 200 GB, I would expect flawless behavior. I am disappointed.

Take note that in the TOS that you agreed to when you joined the community that this is a user to user forum, and Apple does not participate. If you want Apple to take note of something, then you need to use the feedback page HERE, and click on the appropriate link.

  • I have just got my new iPhone 4 white and the battery drains quicker than it should. How would I fix this?

I got my new iphone 4 white 32GB today and the battery drains quicker than it should

So based on that you're saying around 6 hours discharge? That sounds about right if you're on the web using 3G. Games and apps eat up the battery faster.
    Talk time:
Up to 7 hours on 3G
Up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM model only)
Standby time: Up to 300 hours
    Internet use:
Up to 6 hours on 3G
Up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi
Video playback: Up to 10 hours
Audio playback: Up to 40 hours
Knowing what you were using it for would help
