If you don't have a backup then the only possible solution is to go back to the store and see if they can get your old phone and create a backup of that. I know very often that Apple employees will wipe the returned iPhones clean before shipping them back to wherever they ship them.
When you say your old phone was "broken" does this mean it is dead and won't turn on?
Do you have a Time Machine backup of your computer, or a clone that might have this info on it?
Other than that I hate to say you may be out of luck. Time Machine and/or a cloning program performed regularily will inevitably save your a** in situations like this.

I downloaded the ios6 update for the iphone to my phone and my moms"s phone. Now they are syncronized and I lost my contact telephone numbers. Now when I get a text or send text it shows up on my mom's phone. I asked for help from the people at the ATT store and had no idea how to help me. That is crazy that they don't even know anything about their own products! This is EXTREMELY frustrating. Did you create a software that cannot be reversed or corrected? How to I restore my phone to the way it was? I am being told it can't be done. I have been an ATT customer for 8 years but I would love to go to Verizon right now. If you share an Apple ID, both of your phone numbers should be linked to that ID. You should be able to use your phone number as well. My wife, my daughter and I all share an Apple ID for purchases, and we each text from our iOS devices using our own iPhone numbers.
When iOS 6 came out, you were able to link the phone number with your Apple ID to use for Messages and FaceTime. You will need to sign out of messages on all devices and then start the process all over again.

You will need to restore your iPhone from the same computer that you most recently synced to.

I need any help i can get, im having trouble with the app find my iphone. I have lost my iphone, checked on the computer, and somehow, took it away so how do i get it back??If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

And my iTunes sign in is also screwed up... It is underneath my friends email (the one with my backed up data on his Mac laptop) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD APP's again...I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

Tell me the solution. It must exist one!You can redownload you previously purchased apps for free as long as they are still available in the app store. Be sure you are logged into the Apple ID in iTunes used to purchase them, then follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

You should transfer all purchases to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info
1.Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).
If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
2.Click All Devices, then select the device that’s in Lost Mode.
3.Click Lost Mode, then change the information or click Stop Lost Mode.

I'd also advise u not to constantly call the phone as you may cause the person who took the phone to be in distress if its not a trustable person, or it has not been handed to the police or any safe place; resulting in your phone getting turned off, drain battery faster etc.

2. Have you turned on Find my iPhone in the initial setup process? It's integrated into iOS 5 I believe due to iCloud. Not iOS4
3. Is data on?
4. Theif hasn't turned it off
If these criterias are satisfied, your phone can possibly be tracked with iCloud at http://www.icloud.com
Click the tiny iCloud icon on the left side of your screen, select find my iPhone.
DO NOT ALERT THE THIEF BY PLAYING A SOUND IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DECREASE CHANCES OF RECOVERY - It's a no turning back for whoever he/she is.
Possibly, get a trusted buddy or anyone close to you to borrow you an iPhone WITH Find my iphone, you probably can track it real time with the google maps on Find my iPhone. You need to login to your apple id.

You have to have enabled Find My iPhone on your phone before it was lost in order for it to be located. If you did, you could play a loud two minute sound on it even if it was on slient, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f19b5.
