I'm in Spain & I do a search in the Google search place, the address shows as Google.es How do I make it use Google.co.uk all the time?

Because it reverts to Google.es, a lot of the hits are in Spanish. What I'm really trying to do is access UK sites to buy stuff for when I get home & it's a pain having to change .es to .co.uk on each search

On my home page which has Google search block the letters that are typed in are only halve the the letter showing. How do I make that space larger so that all the letters appear full size

When I open firefox now after installing the new version my homepage which uses Google as my search engine is small along with the space bar that you type the info into. Now when I type for example the letter " P" the bottom leg of the p will not appear. I need to increase the size of that whole section where you type.

How do I get rid of swagbucks search from coming up when I search from my address bar?

I have deleted swagbucks from control panel and add ons. But when I try to do a search from my address bar the stupid swag search results comes up. I have e-mailed them more times that I can count and they wont help. It is driving me crazy. I even went so far as to to completely delete my account at swagbucks.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

FYI - If it's a new or refurb bought within the past year you might be able to have it replaced by Apple.

About 50% of the time Firefox is extremely slow loading any google scripts/search, all other scripts/search load quickly. Been happening for about a month now.

A month or so ago FF starting taking forever to load any page using Google scripts, also Google search. Not always, about half the time, the other half the time FF works fine. Can go on and off like this three or four times a day. No discernible pattern. Pages without Google scripts and other search engines (Bing, Yahoo) always load fine with FF, only Google doesn't. Even while FF is slooowwwly loading Google scripts/searches, Chrome and IE load the same scripts and searches quickly with no problems. WTF?

I had this problem, I checked my add-ons one by one as suggested and it was the Avast online security add-on slowing me down on Google. Disabled it and FF works ok.
No idea why the avast add-on would do that? Still using the full version of avast but not the add-on.

If you either updated to Mountain Lion or updated to Safari 6 under Lion then there is a unified URL address bar with the search. I personally don't like it either.
