If you have your iPhone synced to iClpud and then turn your iCloud syncing off, you won'thave your iCloud contacts on your iphone... to get them back, just turn iCloud syncing back on...

Not able to sign into Blackberry Protect. Backup and Restore function not working. Message is: "Your device isn't associated with a Blackberry ID." My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World is working fine so I am sure its not an ID issue on the phone. I can sign into Link, Blackberry.com and Protect. I see my device in Protect but cannot send messages or view it on a map. Times out with cannot reach device message. BB Protect on Device has a swirling circle beside the on/of switch. Cannot turn off.
I have deleted Link and re-installed.
I have reset phone to default(factory) and signed in.
OS level is 10.2.1.3062
BB Link is 1.2.3.56

Go to Solution.I managed to figure this out myself. I had to delete the device from the Blackberry Protect website. protect.blackberry.com. I wiped my device again and signed in with my Blackberry ID. I dont know if the step of wiping was necessary as I did not try my backup with the current configuration on the device following the delete. Restore is in progress for me!

2nd generation ipod touch is pretty much no good anymore? It is not able to upgrade to iOS5.1 and so will not work with many Apps in the iTunes store? Is there a way to find out if the App will work before you download?
Look to the app developer to provide that information when browsing the iTunes Store.
The iPod Touch still works, so what's your problem with it? It still works with older apps, it still does what it's intended to do.
If you aren't happy then sell it and buy a new one. -

I want to set a different folder from the My Documents/Downloads folder for Firefox to put everything I download, like I used to have it. I recently rebuilt my computer and reinstalled everything from WinXP to security software to Firefox, and I cannot find any options anywhere to set a different folder like I used to have it... with the same software, other than it being a newer iteration of Ff. So tell me, am I losing my mind so bad that I just can't remember how I did it before, or have things changed so much that what I want is no longer possible? Please, someone tell me how to set it to do what I want, I can't stand to have what I do on my computer dictated by programmers who only think that they know what people want. If that sounds a little angry, I apologize with the disclaimer that I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and therefore cannot handle frustration... and this kind of thing frustrates me to the point of rage.

Why table getWidth and setWidth is not working when resize column the table

i want to know why the setWidth is not working in the following code,
try to uncomment the code in columnMarginChanged method and run it wont resize the table.
i cont set width(using setWidth) of the other table column using getWidth of the main table column.
and i want to resize the right side columns only (you can check when you resize the any column the left and right side columns also resizing)

actually what i want is, when i resize table column it shold not automaticaly reszie when table resized and i dont want horizontal scroll bar, meaning that all table columns should resize with in the table size(say width 300)
if i make table autoresize off than horizontal scroll bar will appear and the other columns moved and i want scroll to view other columns.
please suggest me some way doing it, i tried with doLayout() no help,

These instructions finally worked for me as well, but there are two things that are left off that I had to do in order to make it work. The first is I had to have an ethernet plugged from my wireless router into my mac in order to complete the steps. The second is that after restoring the defaults, I had to then click on "enable wireless" on my desket BEFORE connecting wirelessly to the "HP" network that popped up.
Once you finally get to the web page and click on the networks tab to install the printer on the network, you may lose internet service which will then inhibit you from completing the process (every time I connected to the "hp network" that kicked me off of my own home wifi network, but you have to be connected online in order to complete the process). After trying over and over again, I finally plugged the ethernet in and started all over again with the restoring degaults, then clicking the button the deskjet that says "enable wireless", then followed all of the steps above and I finally received the completed message. Then I unplugged the ethernet cord and all was well (it was a little slow at first like someone mentioned).
So if the steps are not working for you, try plugging the ethernet from the router to your mac first, then follow all of the steps (including the restoring defualts as step one), click on ebable wireless on the printer, then after all of the steps and the complete message, unplug the ethernet.
I also should mention that I have os x 10.9 of which there is no driver on hp's site, so I installed the driver for os x 10.8 first before doing the steps and that is also what helped this to work (I wasn't even able to click on the "webpage" tab on the printers page because it wasn't even finding the printer at first before downloading the 10.8 driver for the deskjet). -
This problem is particularly noticeable after Firefox updates, but it seems to occur on its own.
* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* You need an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep that cookie, especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
* Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.<br />
Some cleanup programs can also remove the cookies,so you may have to check there as well if you use such programs (e.g. CCleaner)

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

When I am connected to my computer to sync my iTunes and iPhone (4s) the 'log' in iTunes tells me I have three books installed on the device, but when I eject the phone, I have nothing installed.

Thanks in advance.Put it into DFU mode - hold the sleep/wake button and home button until the screen goes black (ignoring the slide to turn off slider). When the screen goes black release the sleep/wake button but hold the home button. Continue holding the home button for 10 seconds, then release it. The screen should stay black. Plug it into iTunes and it should come up with this message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. It must be restored before use", that's when it is successfully in DFU mode. Now press the restore button in iTunes and it should run smoothly :)

How can I access my music library from a laptop on the road, as if my PC is not active? I tunes is installed on both PC and Home Sharing is enabled on both devices.
The key constraint for Home Sharing in this context is that both PCs need to be on the same wifi network. So once you get out of range of the wifi network covering your home PC, the laptop is not going to be able to Home Share.
Have you considered importing your iTunes music to the laptop? Then you could listen to a local copy of the music on the laptop while you're on the road. (You can do the import via home sharing when both computers are on the same wifi network.) -
