I put my ipod on lock mode from "find my iphone" but I fogot the password I used. How to I get out of it?

So I lost my ipod 5 and then I turned on lock mode using Find my iphone. But then I found my ipod and being stupid, I forgot the password. I looked up what
I'm suppose to do and it said I had to go onto icloud and delete the device from icloud. I did that but it said, my ipod wont restart until I connect to the internet. When I connect to itunes, it says i need to go onto icloud and turn of find my iphone, or in this case ipod. I already did that though.
I also cant connect to the wifi. It wont let me turn it on. I think when it went into lock mode, it turned of the wifi. I cant reset my ipod unless its connected to the internet. I have no idea what to do. Help, please.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.

Connect your 3GS in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). Not possible. You need access to iTunes.
The passcode will be required to make changes to these settings or to disable Restrictions. Note: If you lose or forget a restriction passcode, you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it.

First it would be helpful to get more info. Do you keep your music in the default location inside the iTunes folder? Do you use iTunes to keep it organized? Do you have any type of backup of either the iTunes Library files or your entire Music folder? Before reinstalling anything, check that your actual music files are still there. Go to your_homefolder/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music and I am pretty sure that all your files are still there. iTunes keeps its library file on the root level of the iTunes folder. It is either corrupted or you somehow created a new one which subsequently is empty. Hold down the option while you click on iTunes, then choose "existing library" and browse to your iTunes folder and select the iTunes Library file and see what happens. Report back if your iTunes Library file is corrupt.

Hi I sold my iPhone 4S she has emailed me saying she can't set the phone up as I didn't deleted from find my iPhone so I went on find my iPhone and removed it but didn't erase the phone first is there anyway that I can do it with out her sending your phone back ? TS1398 every time I try to put in the password I have to put in a space before I can join the network. This adds another character to the password which then makes the password incorrect. How do I get by this problem so I can finish setup?

Every time I try to put in the password for wifi connection in setup I have to put in a space after the password so that I can "join". The extra space changes the password and I can't join my home network!!! What do I do to get the password accepted and continue with setup?

Why do you have to enter a space at the end of the password? Did you try just tapping the keyboard icon in the lower right corner of the keyboard to hide the keyboard or just hit return after you enter the final character of the password?
If you can't get it to work, restart the iPad and try again.

There should be no reason you cannot restore your replacement phone with the backup that you made from your old phone.

IPhone 4G suddenly locked up. Cannot slide to open, and cannot slide to shutdown. How do I get out of this problem?

Camera would not work the last couple of times i tried using it this week. Using the small symbol in lower right I was able to slide up after several tries and got some good shorts of my foot. Shut it down. Few minutes later tried to open and slide would not work. Frozen. Tried again this AM still the same. Then tried to turnoff for a few minutes but slide to close system down wouldnot slide. So appears to be complete frozen even though I can hook up to computer and play music from iphone thru iTunes computer program.
So how do i get back up and running?

As explained here, have your friend turn off Find My iPhone (iPad).

Hand her the iPad so she can do that.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings and start over with a brand new iPad (as if it just came out of the box).
