I subscribe to CC - Dreamweaver is 12.0 - build 5861 - Help- updates show I'm current

I have CS6, then subscribed to CC. All applications show up to date - but Dreamwesver is clearly not. Any suggestions? I really don't want to uninstall - I have a lot of addins and customizing, and it will take hours to reinstall, etc.

Rebooted, tried several times. Same results.
When I run a program, it asks for a SN. But when I check for updates, it shows that updates are available for all the installed apps. However, when I run the application manager, it shows I'm up to date.
I'm trying the updates now. But I can't get Lightroom to install.

In dreamweaver cs6 12.0, build 5842, there is no syntax coloring on main code view?

In my dreamweaver CS6, why is there no syntax coloring showing on the main code view window on php or any files? It works in window>code inspector, but this does not have all the same functionality. ther is no preferences icon anywhere that I can see to turn this feature on or off? This used to work until just recently. Nothing on google, but the main basics. I tried checking preferences under syntax coloring and all is okay and shows color. I also reinstalled and restarted PC. I am on a macbook with retina display. on mountain lion with latest updates. CS6 is different than cs5 in menus. Please help soon!

Thanks for the help. I didn't think the retina did, I just wanted to help clarify what I was working with. I tried changing the external editor also and that got the split design view working again, but still no code coloring gosh darnit.

FTP BUG in Dreamweaver CS6 after upgrading to build 5861

I just updated Dreamweaver CS6 to 12.0.1 build 5861. Now Dreamwearver fails to put files after several successful puts of the same file. Only symptom is that the background uploader window fails to appear. Only solution is to close and re-open Dreamweaver.
Further testing seems to indicate this condition only happens if I manually save a changed file before attempting the Put. It seems to consistently work correctly if I perform the Put and wait for Dreamweaver to prompt me to save the file.
THIS IS DEFINITELY A BUG THAT SHOULD BE FIXED - Dreamweaver CS6 Perpetual license (Not Cloud)

Dreamweaver 14.1.1 Build 6981 working with responsive design

I have uploaded Dreamweaver 2014.1.1 Build 6981. I am working in responsive design. I contacted Adobe Support for help and they took command of my machine and said everything is OK. After complaining about only being able to edit in Live 5% of the time after waiting sometimes about 5 minutes. I was told that's how the new Dreamweaver works and I have to live with it. He would not answer any other questions. Like why have spell check if it does not work? Why have Live button if it only works 5% of the time? Even when you do edit in Code mode it sometimes just jumps to another section of the code? Does anyone have a solution?

Did you have issues working with RWD sites in the previous version (2014.1 Build 6947)? I have not yet upgraded to latest build because they ruined the Welcome window - still using build 6947, and I have no issues working with my own RWD site, or with Bootstrap/Foundation builds in general. Are you using a framework?
There is a really old problem that I'm not sure ever got fixed, where Dreamweaver would hang on opening some web pages, that may now be afflicting Live View. I implement this fix every time I upgrade Dreamweaver, so I usually do not have issues with Live View.... not with the build I'm using that is. There is one other issue that caused my mobile apps to freeze up in Live View, and that was the Google Analytics code. Temporarily commenting that out resolved the freeze up.

I can't help you without more details. Are you using Windows or Mac? Which version of DW/EM were installed? Have these products worked well before? Which product hangs? Dreamweaver, Extension Manager and Creative Cloud application all hang? Does it hang during startup or after you did some operations?

Dreamweaver adding local testing server MySQL-HELP REQUEST

I have a website on register.com and I am using MySQL for the
first time. My DB and table have been created using MyPHPAdmin. Now
I want to use my Dreamweaver to setup a testing server that will be
local and then upload asp pages after testing. Can Anyone PLEASE
assist with this. I have downloaded and installed MySQL 5 and
loaded the MySQL Driver for ODBC. I am not sure if I am doing this
correctly OR if anyone knows an easier way. In summary I simply
want to:
A : Be able to test MySQL tables using dreamweaver's testing
server then locally upload to my remote site that is hosted at
register.com.

Why not use PHPMyAdmin to build the database remotely and
then just use your
remote connection for testing?

Thanks for the reply but 'Android build' worked couple of months ago. I haven't changed anything to get the clone failed error. I could sign the apk and upload to google play without any problem. It worked so nicely. Curious to know what does 'incorrect function' refer to ? Is it something to do with my installed software ? If at all, do I need to tweak something ? Please help. I have tried Phonegap build service already but not sure how to get an apk signed for google play. In DW CS 5.5 it was easy.

Transfering files from Windows Dreamweaver CS5.5 to build apps on MAC

I am considering upgrading to CS5.5 to take advantage of Dreamweaver's new Phonegap features.
I am a Windows user.
I know I can't build iOS APPS on Windows but can I move th files I have built to a MAC with a development envvironment and build the APP there ?

Depends on what you're wanting to build. HTML5 webpages are cross-browser/ cross-device compatible and will work across iOS, Android & BlackBerry (modify with WebWorks) models.
In this case, a HTML editor is recommended. If you do not have DW on the Mac, you could copy the projects folder from localhost ROOT and open it with any HTML editor.
I think you're confusing yourself with the iOS build here. There is no such thing as a 'native' Mac environment to build iOS webpages. Webpages made with any HTML editor will open on iOS.
If you're talking about building iOS Apps, you need to download XCode and other related iOS SDK's to start. This link should give you an insight: https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action

Most of those errors are what you would expect from someone
with limited
experience building sites commercially.
How can we help you most effectively? As it is now, when
javascript is
disabled, your site is not usable (that would apply to search
engine spiders
too, so they cannot spider your site). I'd guess that would
be the first
thing you'd want to tackle.

Which one is better, Dreamweaver or Flash for building an awesome website.

As the title says, I have purchased DreamWeawer and Flash both but I find Flash a little difficult. I bought trainings signed by Imtiaz Ahmed and Ammar Ahmed from St Magazine . These tought me a lot. I also bought trainings for Dream Weawer from ZJ Experts and Secure Techs.

For web animations, look at Adobe Edge Animate which outputs to HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. If you have DW CC or CS6 on the Cloud, you can easily insert exported Edge Animate projects into your web pages.

Dreamweaver cc and phonegap build

I'm going crazy trying to sort this out - I have built a mobile app. and am trying to use the phonegap build service in dreamweaver.
I have logged in and and created a new project and there it seems to hang asking me to insert Passwords for Android and Blackberry.
I'm new to this and confused, none of the tutorials show entering a password (except of course for iOS).
If I do need these where do I get them from?
Somebody ease my aching head please!!
