I tried to upgrade to Firefox 4. I have lost my Firefox 3.6. Firefox 4 will not open on my computer. The message say that it is not supported on thie architecture. I have OS 10.4.11 on an eMac? What do I do?

I down loaded 4 and installed it to replace 3.6. I then tried to launch it and got the message that it is not supported on this architecture.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

You can't create an iCloud account on your PC. You have to first create an iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher). After creating the account on one of these devices you can use the ID to sign into the account on your PC.

I have also had the same problem with my Win 7 32 bit computer. I had great help from Apple techs in Montreal and Orlando for 2.5 hours. They helped me remove every trace of Apple products and clean the registry in two different ways. Each install gave the same problem! If Apple techs can't fix it (on some of our machines) then we are really in trouble. They promised to raise it with the "engineers" and get back to me with a solution. I am waiting and hoping. Otherwise maybe version 11.1.5 will have a fix ??

Are you using dial-up, cable, or DSL? Do you have a slow or fast connection? The former is likely to make it difficult to get a reliable download of a 4 GB file.

If it's updates through the Office auto-updater that are having problems, that's probably an issue you'll need to take up on Microsoft's support site. If you're having problems installing Office from scratch and it's saying it can't find Installer, you may need to repair your hard drive. More help will probably be obtained if you post in the Mac OS X 10.6 forum; this forum, where you originally posted, is for help with the Communities themselves.

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. From your iCloud account, you can go to Find My Phone and remove the iPhone from your devices list which will release it, or you could do a remote erase of the iPhone from iCloud.
