I try to upload an apps with the CD but when i press setup and entre password nothing happen?
I try to re install photo element 6 with the set up CD but when i press setup, "Setup wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this". I enter my password after that nothing happen?
This is an issue that you need to be asking Adobe about.

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Whenever I try to upload photos into iPhoto, they load but when importing it just stops a picture or two into it and then just sits there. I can't stop the import so I have to shut off my camera when it is importing and start again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Tru importing from your camera to it and to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Without the Apple ID and password the phone was originally activated with, you will not be able to activate the phone. No one here can help you, and neither can Apple. So, unless you or your friend can remember that ID, you will never be able to activate the phone.

I can buy apps in the store... But when i try to buy in app purchases then i cant.. I have no restirction on it and i wonder why... I bought it before it was ok... I installed Pro tools 8 M- Powered, the ilook and interface are plugged in, but for some reason
when I go to create a new session, it doesn't happen. Pro Tools is still open, but I cannot
access any sessions.Nope---didn't work. I've owned Macs for about 12 years so although I am brain dead on some things, I do have a working knowledge on most things. I only say that to say this--I did try holding down the mouse and choosing empty trash. It asks if I want to permanently delete what's in there. I say yes--and then I get the same identical message again-----'The operation can't be completed because the item "Firefox 8.0.1.dmg" is in use I can then click stop, or continue.' So apparently that complains the same way it does if I click it up on the menu :)))
As for item owned by---that's not an issue and isn't coming up. User is not a problem either as I am the only user on this system. There is only ONE file in my trash at the moment at that is this dmg file. Nothing Mac. Nothing owned by anyone other than Firefox. The problem seems to be that the dmg file and the original 4.0 FF file are working in tandem with each other--even though I have already drug the new 8.0 globe into the Apps folder and it updated the FF app with the new stuff. If I could force the dmg file to go away, I would do so, but at every turn the system is telling me it can't be done because it seems to think that dmg file is in use---even though everything is shut down and/or ejected. Hey--I'm getting ready to head out and won't be back till evening. I'll check back in this evening. Thank you again for your help. -
My iPad will not allow me to update apps although I have no problem buying new ones. It says "cannot connect to iTunes" each time I try.
Same problem for me, too. It happens on my iPad, iPhone, and iMac. Weird because I have great Internet connectivity and I can log into and view my iTunes account. I've downloaded three new apps with no problem. But my iPad shows 14 apps needing updates, my iPhone shows 2, and my iMac shows 1. In all cases, clicking on "update" and entering the password results in the message, "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". It's the same result across multiple WiFi networks, even after resetting them.
I'll see if someone at the Genius Bar can help and then I will repost. -
The icons wiggle and show the x but they will not delete when I press the X. Also the home button will not cancel the action.
Try doing a hard reset: Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
After this, try again to delete the app.
If that doesn't solve the issue, you could also try backing up the device and restoring the device as new.
In that case, follow the steps in: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137
NB: set up as a NEW device because a software issue will be in the backup. If the issue persists after restoring as new, you should offer the device for service.

Why is it that when I go to the search screen and type in a particular message I want to view, my iPhone finds it but when I click on it it only takes me to the conversation at the most recently thing texted and not the particular message I clicked on?
Never occurred to me you can search messages that way, thanks.
Another way to do it is to scroll from the most recent message to the top of the screen and tap load more messages, repeatedly till you reach the one you want.
I like your method better, but with both methods it refreshes to the most recent message. -
How can I fix my iPod touch. It will allow me to go on the Internet while it's plugged in but when I take it off the charger and go on the Internet the iPod will shut off. I have tried to reboot the iPod but it still does it.

My firefox won't open new tabs with the button or when I press CTRL+t, what is the problem?
I can't open any new tabs what so ever. I tried uninstalling and re-installing, and there was no change.
Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
