I upgraded my mac to Mac OS X Mavericks and a lot of apps don't work anymore, can't upgrade them 'cause my App Store doesn't work either =(
I wanted to make a partition with bootcamp, but I couldn't, so I upgraded to Mavericks and it worked!, but now iPhoto, App Store, Photo Booth many others don't work..
IPhoto says that the version can not longer be used on Mac OS X 10.9, and that I need to upgrade, but some others like PhotoBooth or App Store don't say anything, they just don't launch... =(

You can't open Dictation & Speech preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac.
I cannot open or use Dictation & Speech in System Preferences. When I try to open it I get the error:

I have tried repairing the disk from the installation CD and repairing the permissions and I have also tried re-installing Mountain Lion but the feature still does not work. I'm using OS 10.6.8 and Mail 4.5. When I receive mails with attachments which are visible the save button doesn't work. And some contacts occasionally have problems opening files sent by me using Mail too. This was never a problem on pre-Intel Mac. A real Mac **** up ! Any ideas ?
Can you drag and drop the attachments visible in the email to the Desktop OK or does that fail ?
Re the sending: Are these recipients on Mac's or PC's as the file type could be an issue, if on Mac's then try setting the Mail Preferences Composing setting to Plain Text not Rich Text and see if that improves things. -
I am running Photoshop CS6 on a Mac OS X 10.9.3 and every time I save a large eps I can not open it again. I get this message when I try. "Could not complete your request because Photoshop was unable to parse the PostScript."
Oh, dear.
If you use PSE as your external editor for iphoto, you need to save the images back to iphoto by using Save, not Save As and not changing anything like the name or format that would bring up the Save As window. (You may need to adjust the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing.)
OR you can export the photos from iphoto to the desktop, use file>open in the editor and then change whatever you want and either import the saved image to the organizer or import it back to iphoto as a new file. What you are doing is extremely risky, particularly to the iphoto library which you may easily damage by your workflow.
I would start the organizer holding down the shift key, then create a new catalog and switch to the new one. Then try opening the editor without opening an image and see if you get any farther.
PSE and iphoto are not designed to be used as you've been doing. You are trying to write to the iphoto library from outside iphoto, which is the fastest known way to corrupt the library and lose all your photos. -

They aren't there because you didn't transfer them.

In future do not rely upon being able to download again. The policy could be discontinued without notice and then you'd be in a mess. Even now you still can't redownload everything. Transfer properly next time and make backups. -
I have just started using Time Machine. I was thinking about deleting old E-Mails on my Mac to clean. Does Time Machine back up the E-Mails , if so how can I find them in Time Machine ??
If you back up your mac before deleting your emails, Time Machine should back up your e-mails.
I never tried this so i'm not sure to find them in Time Machine. To browse in your backups simply click the Time Machine icon in your dock. In the right bar, you can select an backup. Than you can browse in finder, in your backkup.

OMG! No Services and Touch ID no longer working anymore after i upgraded my Iphone 6 from IOS 8.00 to 8.02 today!!!! Any Idea how to fix this?
Go to settings do a reset after that tou will need to enter you Router wireless key Then wait for iPhone to come on. This worked for me on iPhone & ipad. Bsydd uk

No, it is not possible. When upgrading the iOS on the phone, the only one you can install is the latest version, which for the iPhone 4 is iOS 7.0.4.
