You mention that you have tried restarting, but did you try a reset?
Simultaneously hold down the Home and the On buttons until the iPad shuts downs. Ignore the Off slider should it appear. This will take ten seconds give or take. After the sut down is complete, press the Onn button to restart. NOTE: this is different from simply shutting down the iPad.

You are correct that the behavior started when you installed iOS 6 - but as Chetan6518 explained - you now have to configure it in the settings.
Along with the suggestion above, there is also a Photos setting in Privacy and that gives access to approved apps for photos as well.
Last of all, make sure that you haven't set a photos restriction in Settings>General>Restrictions>Privacy>Photos -
Have a new ipad, where are the stocks, weather and utilities apps that are on my iphone?
I am trying to find where the stock apps that are on the iphone4 are. I am missing stocks, weather and all of the utilities. Do I have to go to the app store to find them?
Those apps aren't included on the iPad for whatever reason. You'll have to download apps to replace those.

MY iPad has suddenly lost my camera and FaceTime apps. Yes I've tried to modify in the restrictions however it is asking for a passcode that I never set up. I've also tried to go and reset my iPad but it to is asking for a passcode. Yes I've tried any passcode I've ever used. And I can't get anywhere. Help!

I upgraded my new iPad (iPad 3) to IOS 6 and everything went well except Siri won’t launch apps. When asked say “launch Facebook” Siri responds with “it doesn’t look like you have an app named Facebook” and I get the same results when trying to launch any app. Siri works for everything else it just won’t launch apps. Ever since I upgraded to the new software, nothing works like it used to. The iPad is slow, the calendars appear and disappear andi have to re- sync. Does any one knows if a patch is on the works to resolve the problems? I know other users are having the same problem.
Back up your iPad. Then restore the iPad to the original factory settings. Then restore from your backup. Things should improve for you.

Since upgrading to the newest version of ios 8, I can no longer share my photos on facebook. I have tried going to settings-privacy-photos, but the facebook app does not show up for me to change the settings. Any suggestions?
when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

The lock screen on my IPad zoomed in on itself. It is zoomed in so far that I can't unlock it, and I can't see the 'slide to power off' option. I've tried to reset it numerous times. Any suggestions? Help please!
Try double tapping the screen with three fingers to return to normal size. If it works go to settings> general> accessibility> zoom> off.

I have a brand new iPad 4. I plugged in and it told me that there was new software available. I went to update it and now it tells me "unknown error 1656". Now the pad is in permanent recovery mode and I can't do anything with it. Any info?

upgraded both my iphone and mac os and I noticed that when listening to internet radio I only get 1 channel whereas before I was able to receive 2 channels. Any suggestions?
I received my week 16 MBP yesterday morning. It has been perfect thus far. Quite the improvment over my old iBook. I do hear some noises rarely but not enough to make me think there is a problem, I believe they are just the standard purrs and ticks of a high-powered computer. It doesn't run hot. I'd say cool to rather warm if used heavily. I hope I have a problem free experiance. I would hate for this product to tarnish Apple's reputation, that would be unacceptable considering this product is amazing. I will say this; I called Applecare, more out of curiousity than anything else and told them that I had just purchased an MBP and, while mine was fine, I had heard allot of disturbing reports about noise and heat. I asked point blank if Apple was aware of any issues and if they where working to resolve it. The answer I got was surprisingly forward. I was informed that they were "VERY" aware and working to correct the issues. He then told me I was lucky to recieve one of the quiet MBPs. I hope they work it out soon.

I have about 14 gbs of Other on my iPad. After searching, I notice that it is mostly photos. Years and years of photos. However, when I sync thru iTunes on my iMac, I only sync the last 6 months. I have tried deleting all photos and syncing again. No luck. Any suggestions?
Read the User Tip that razmee209 linked for you in the post above. If nothing in there works, there May be something on your iPad that is corrupt. Backup the iPad, restore to factory settings, and them restore the backup. If that doesn't fix it, restore as new and download all of your purchased content again.
