I've downloaded and installed the latest version of iTunes 12.0.1 for the MAC, but nothing works, the App won't start, what to do?

I'm using windows 8 on my pc, and i have just downloaded the latest version of itunes, after i upgraded the latest version of itunes, it can't detect my iphone, but my windows/my pc does. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

I found information on how to transfer my itunes library to a new computer. I am going to use an external hard drive for this to transfer my itunes folder to the new computer.
I will then download and install a new version of itunes on my new computer.
My question is this. When I do this, will itunes have all my album artwork for all my library? My library has a lot of my own music and I have spent quite a bit of time copying album artwork that itunes did not add. I am really hoping I don't have to do this again!

I have an Ipod that is 4 years old and have an old version of Itunes that I use with it. My son wants to start using his Ipod that he just got last Christmas on this computer and Itunes wants me to download a new version of Itunes for it. Hi just installed latest update to itunes and have just noticed that it will no longer play my tracks all the way to the end mainly stopping around 8 sec from the end has anyone else had this problem have all ready tried deleting libery and re-installing it but still doesnt work. please help
PS All songs play ok though Media Player so not corupted data.

THe error box says procedure entry point not found....then a string of code that "could not be located in the SoftwareUpdateFiles.dll".

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -
I have the iphone 5S and it doesn't seem to even connect to my macbook because when i connect it to my phone, a message on my laptop shows that I have to install he new version of itunes on my phone. How on earth do I do that??? I Already have the latest version of itunes installed on my laptop already.
It should be telling you to download the latest iTunes on your computer... you can't install iTunes on your iPhone.

For some reason I cannot download and install the latest version of iTunes. 11.0.2. Could you help please? Each time I try, I get a command box saying 'The feature you are trying to download is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click Ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes.ms in the box below.

UK(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
When downloading the latest version of Itunes, the software is not accessible anymore and Itunes seems to need to be reinstalled. How do I ensure the Itunes music is not lost and my pc is still recognized by Itunes store?
Crikey. Okay, that's part of the Gracenote SDK (that iTunes uses to go online to get album and track information for imports).
Let's take the message at it's word. If the file is damaged, we may be able to get past this by removing it from the iTunes program files and then doing a repair install of iTunes.
In Computer, open Local Disk C:\ (or whichever drive you've got your program files installed on).
If you've got a 32-bit version of Vista, open the "Program Files" folder.
If you've got a 64-bit version of Vista, open the "Program files (x86)" folder.
Open the "iTunes" folder.
Drag the gnsdk_sdkmanager.dll file out of the folder and onto your Desktop.
Restart the PC. Head into your Uninstall a Program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
Does the repair install go through properly? If so, can you launch iTunes now? -
