I'm buying a MacBook for college and I'm wondering what upgrades should I make on it that'll make the laptop fast and efficient. Also, I want the battery to last for awhile. Any tips?

I bought a 17" Late 2011 MBP about 2 years ago (early 2012, about a month or two before the Retina models came out). I upgraded the RAM to 16GB, and I replaced the stock HDD with a Seagate Hybrid "SSHD". It still works very well for me now and even though I don't need the extra performance, I'm considering replacing the hybrid drive with a 1TB SSD (they're around $450-550 for the Samsung or Crucial one s now). My previous system was a Late 2007 MBP that I used for 5 years before I gave it to a friend who still uses it today.

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
You can opnly resize using the available options and file size is not one of them

What is the best MacBook Pro for me? (Budget = 1500$)

Hello guys, I am looking forward for buying a new MacBook Pro. But I don't know which one. I want a 13 inch model that can run very good. In 2010 I bought a MacBook White and I should probably say that it was worth every penny I spent. I loved it so much but this year the trackpad would not move, lagging is an issue but it still works fine now. I want to buy a new MacBook Pro that is good.
I will use it for the following :
- Microsoft Word / google docs
- Photoshop
- Game programming
- Gaming (League of Legends, Football Manager 2014/15/16/17)
- Programming
- Researching ( EXTREMELY IMPORTANT)
- Homework
- And personal use (Facebook, and surfing the web)
My budget is 1500$, okease answer as fast as you can!!

if you still have your white MacBook, then it seems like fixing its trackpad and installing more RAM and/or replacing its hard disk with a SSD would cost significantly less than $1500. It sounds as though if the trackpad were fixed and the lagging were resolved, that you would still be happy to use it.

Apple does have a Reuse and Recycling Program. They may offer you an Apple store gift card in return for your computer, but the amount is likely to be much smaller than you could get by selling it on your own. I have had success with selling older Macs on CraigsList.

If I'm not mistaken, retail versions of Windows 7 come with both the 64 bit and 32 bit DVDs in the package (it doesn't make sense for them to market two separate packaged versions). If you purchased it online via the Microsoft Store for download, they allow you to go back and download either version as well. Provided you have a legit version of Windows 7, you should have access to either version.
Either version should work fine on a current Macbook Pro.

No it does not.....
The only Mac with the assymetrical blades is the 15" retina MBP.
And they are pretty darn effective(I can never hear the fans unless I open p something extremely power consuming and still they aern't as loud as my old Windows PC).
Mind you the MacBook can get a little uncomfortable if you keep the base in contact with your skin. Otherwise the fans are excellent..

I know it's for Windows but my friends use the same software and they're using Macbook Pro bootcamp as well but it crashed every now & then. The 13 inch wont do you much good in terms of Graphic rendering and transcoding for the following apps, AutoCAD, FCS, Premiere CS5. The 15" however has a dedicated GPU and also an integrated GPU, if I were you I would go for the high-end 15" Macbook Pro. Just look at the specs.....

The link you posted is compatible RAM and from a reputable company. I bought my 2 X 8 GB modules from crucial when I upgraded my MBP RAM to 16 GB.
Go with that kit.
Note that DDR3 1600 MHz RAM is the only type of RAM your machine takes.

How do I easly send my pictures from Aperture to CVS for actual printing? I always have trouble finding my photos in the Aperture library when I need to load them into the CVS web interface. I can't even tell which photos they are without seeing them.
Also, what's the best way to do it from my Iphone. Doesn't seem to be a good app for that.

Export the adjusted version from Aperture to the Desktop. Download the exported version to CVS.
You shouldn;t be looking in the Aperture library (if by looking you mean using the Finder on the library). Use Apertures tools to do this. Besides the only thing you could get out of the library would be the original file that you imported into Aperture not the version with your adjustments.
