ICloud & Numbers, wanting to remove numbers from iCloud..

Apparently, if you have iCloud set up on your mac (in my case mac mini), Numbers automatically saves the spreadsheets by default to iCloud. I do not want all of my spreadsheets in iCloud. I do not want ANY of them in iCloud now, especially as it simply uses up too much space. I went to the Numbers Help for Mac, in the area of Move a spreadsheet to or from iCloud. This is what I found, "
Choose File > Move To (from the File menu at the top of your computer screen), choose a new location from the Where pop-up menu, then click Move.
When I did this, I did not receive a new choice. Apparently it is something simple that I am missing. Do I make a new file to move these to and hope the computer keeps it "in" and not sending it to the icloud...?? any help will be appreciated! TY in advance...

To download a Numbers document to your computer, go to icloud.com from your Mac, sign into your account, open Numbers beta, select a documents and choose Download Document from the Action (gear) menu. It will download to your default downloads location on your Mac.
To disable Numbers syncing with iCloud, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Options... next to Documents & Data, then uncheck Numbers.
To disable it on an iOS device (if you're using the iOS version), go to Settings>Numbers and turn Use iCloud to Off. You can then open Numbers and you will get an option to keep the documents on your device if you want to.

You can't remove them because they aren't stored in your personal iCloud account. They are stored in the App store. What you are seeing are links to your previous purchases in the App store, and Apple will not remove anything from your list of previous purchases.

The books are not actually in your iCloud storage, they are links to the books in the Store. What you are seeing is your purchase history and as such cannot be deleted.
You can however hide your purchases, which you can do from the QuickLinks > Purchased option from the main page in the iTunes Store on your computer.
You can also hide all your purchases in the cloud by going settings > iBooks > Show all purchases >off.

iTunes Match! Activate it (it's about 20$ a year) and all your music will be moved to iCloud. It will be in your iTunes library and iPhone Music app, but it will actually physically be in iCloud. iTunes Match then removes it from your iPhone, saving lots of space, and you can (if you need) delete it manually from your Mac HD. But do keep a copy somewhere, on an external HD or something. Even if it's iCloud , you never know!

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. How do I remove device from icloud it was traded in and wiped but still listed as a device

I Traded in my iPhone 5 at Verizon store on 9/20 for the iPhone 6 and watched the phone being wiped before heading home with new phone. However, when I checked icloud.com today it still shows the device in device list. Tried a find my phone but all that shows up is my iPhone 6 & iPad. Any idea how to remove device from iCloud!

The songs I don't want aren't checked and haven't been for a long time. You would think that would be the answer, but it isn't for some reason.Nothing has taken the songs away. Songs that I have deleted from iTunes and even the computer still stayed on the phone as well as songs that were NOT checked. In addition to albums I have NEVER downloaded... unless many, many, years ago and have no recolection of it. And they are NOT in my iTunes library or stored on the computer. I've noticed that my iCloud backups are constantly hitting their 5GB max, even after clearing out camera rolls, etc.
After some testing, I've found that iMessages are also backed up. For someone like me, I'm constantly sending pictures / videos to friends and family, having a little guy under a year old (but that's not important).
In any case, it seems you can set iCloud backup for just about every app EXCEPT iMessages. The only way I've found to solve this is to constantly delete message threads from my iPhone, so that they aren't taking up iCloud space. But this honestly is a bit of a pain (okay, only a little bit)... why can't I keep my messages around for as long as I want, without backing them up?

Make sure you have their icloud email they use for imessage in their contact information before sending them an imessage.

The only way someone can actually access your information is by being online using the Apple ID associated with your iCloud. If you use find my iphone and set it to lock the phone/wipe the phone, That essentially stops them there. Whenever it connects to the internet to download all of your new reminders, notes and photos from photo stream iCloud will wipe it. Just to be safe you sould just change your password as it will then prompt then to enter the new password everytime they try to get the updated info.

You are correct, you cannot delete songs from iTunes in the Cloud. This is where all of your purchases are permanently stored so if you want to re-download something you can. Sometimes purchases will no longer be available, if the merchant pulls them from the iTunes store, but for the most part, all of your past purchases will remain in iTunes in the Cloud.
This has absolutely nothing to do with iTunes Match.

When you move a folder to iCloud Drive, it will upload the contents of this folder to iCloud Drive, but it may take a long tome, even for small items. You may see progress bars, while the contents is uploading. And the folder may look empty, until it will be updated from iCloud. For example - shortly after adding the folder "neueBilder" to iCloud Drive.
