ICX_SOAP_CORE: 1023 occured in method IF_SOAP_TRANSPORT_BINDING~RECEIVE

Hi,
i have a WSDL generated client proxy. After repeated succesful calls, this proxy raises repeated exceptions like "ICX_SOAP_CORE: 1023 occured in method IF_SOAP_TRANSPORT_BINDING~RECEIVE".
The importing of correction instruction of node 1326434 hasn't corrected the error.
In Transaction RSRFCTRC no logging is available, though it is enabled in LPCONFIG.
Any ideas for the exception?
Andreas

    Hi.
    Check the response. Sometimes this error occurs due to an empty response.

  • ICI Error occurred in method CL_BCB_SYSTEM- GET_WORKCENTER_CAPABILITY

    Hi
    We have integrated CRM 7.0 with a third party vendor. After initiating a call, i have checked the CRM trace and found this following error, "ICI Error occurred in method CL_BCB_SYSTEM->GET_WORKCENTER_CAPABILITY".
    We have no issues in receiving the calls and initiating calls, all the icons in the toolbar works perfectly.
    I would like to understand what is this error and what is its impact on CAD.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Kalees

    Hi Kalees,
    The GET_WORKCENTER_CAPABILITY method is executed at the time of the login to CRM IC.
    It tries to determine the Capability of the system to handle the free seating.
    Below info is from the ICI specification 3.07 (you can find the same in 3.05 or 3.06 - Page 25:
    Other system data are related to the Free Seating functionality. For example, one might want to
    know the capability of a system to handle this functionality properly. The workcenter
    identification type has been defined for this purpose. Supported values are:
    0 Free Seating not supported. User-based workcenter identification.
    1 Workcenter identified by a fully qualified domain name (e.g. raptor.wdf.sap.corp)
    2 Workcenter identified by a hostname (e.g. raptor)
    3 Workcenter identified by an IP address (e.g. 10.12.124.252)
    >=100 Workcenter identified by unspecified ID
    In opur case we use the host name (type 2) in order to identify the work center. It means that PC Name (Host Name) is used to find the associated user in the CMS System (Avya, Cisco and so on).
    Also, on Page 46 of ICI specification,  - you can find information on the ICI IciSystem_getWorkcenterCapability method.

    Vadim.

    Hi,
    How often does this occur? Is this consitently reproducible with certain code? Is it always that code that has the problem? Can you generally reproduce this in a test environment?
    For issues regarding 3rd party libraries that cannot be reproduced with a source code testcase, I'd generally recommend testing latest software versions if that's an option.
    If the behaivor still occurs on current versions, it may be best to open a SR with support so we can get some tracing, and also a memory dump of the access violation to see if we can match it to known issues. You can get a memory dump via setting ODP tracing to level 8, or also via the use of adplus, debugdiag, etc.
    Hope it helps, but realize it may not,

  • Status code value after calling the method cl_http_client= receive

    Hi,
    I am sending a query string to 3rd party via outbound http. Now one of the methods needed in this case is CL_HTTP_CLIENT=>RECEIVE . This method has got 3 exceptions such as  communication failure etc. If this method has sy-subrc 0 what does this indicate. If  a sy-subrc value of 0 indicates success then why are we again quering the status code value between 200 and 299 . Can it happen that the value of  sy-subrc = 0 but the status code value is not between 200 and 299 .
    In which cases this situation will occur?
    Can anyone elaborate on this.....

    Hi i could not solve the problem with abap. We developed another application by using another programming language for this issue.
    But i think you should create an instance for authantication. After authantication you should get the cookies .
    Then create a new instance for other link and before send and receive methods set cookies ( which you got from authantication session ) for other link in ABAP.
    We did not have enough time to solve this in ABAP. Hope you will solve. If you solve please let me know how you have solved.
    Here is the code(another programming language), may be it will help you.
    req = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(@"https://login.xxx.com/authenticate.aspx?userid=xxx&password=xxx");
          req.CookieContainer = cc;
          HttpWebResponse httpResponse = (HttpWebResponse)req.GetResponse();
          HttpWebRequest httpRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(@"https://yyy.com/postxml.aspx");
          httpRequest.CookieContainer = cc;
          httpRequest.Method = "POST";
          httpRequest.ContentType = "text/xml";

  • Why is my JavaServiceFacade persist() method is receiving NULL object

    My jDeveloper version is 11.1.1.3.0
    I have a jspx in which i want to save an employee into my DB on the click of submit button.
    I have made an entity object(Employee.java) made from a table EMPLOYEE. I then exposed this entity bean using a JavaServiceFacade. This JavaServiceFacade class has a method with signature persistEmployee(Employee employee).
    In my UI, i have made made a Submit button by dragging the persistEmployee() method from my DataControls pallette to my jspx, and the actionListener binding for this is ="#{bindings.persistEmployees.execute}".
    Now when i click on the submit button, the persistEmployee() method throws an exception which is below...
    ______ java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Object: null is not a known entity type_______
    I found that the persistEmployee() method is not receiving an Employee object as an argument due to which this error is thrown.
    Can somebody pls guide me on what could be the issue.
    BELOW ISTHE CODE WHICH I HAVE USED.
    .......button code in my jsp.......
    <af:commandButton text="Submit"
    binding="#{backing_LdapUserCreation.cb5}"
    id="cb5"
    actionListener="#{bindings.persistEmployees.execute}"
    disabled="#{!bindings.persistEmployees.enabled}"/>
    .......method code which got generated in teh javaservicefacade..(here the employee argument received by the first line is NULL).....
    public Employees persistEmployees(Employees employees) {
    System.out.println("IS employees NULL ? = "+employees);
    return (Employees)_persistEntity(employees);
    .......binding code in my pagedefinition.........
    <methodAction id="persistEmployees" RequiresUpdateModel="true"
    Action="invokeMethod" MethodName="persistEmployees"
    IsViewObjectMethod="false" DataControl="EmployeeService"
    InstanceName="EmployeeService.dataProvider"
    ReturnName="EmployeeService.methodResults.persistEmployees_EmployeeService_dataProvider_persistEmployees_result">
    <NamedData NDName="employees" NDType="model.test.Employees" />
    </methodAction>

    Hi,
    when you dragged the persist method from the DataControls panel, a dialog opens that in its lower area shows the argument that the method expects. This argument needs to be pointed to <iterator name> | currentRow | data provider. To do this, click into the method argument value field and click the button on its right to bring up the EL editor. Then expand the iterator node under the Bindings node. Expand currentRow and select dataProvider.
    You can do this after creating the method binding as well. Select the PageDef file in the Application Navigator and open the Structure Window. Expand the persist method: it shoudl have a child element. Select the child item and in the Property Inspector set its NDValue property

  • Taskflow Method call receiving null parameter.

    Hi all,
    I am using 11.1.1.6. I have created in my application an extra project which is pure Java objects and exposed a master class as a POJO DC. In my application, I have a taskflow where I have dragged and dropped one method from my POJO DC - 2 of the parameters of this methods are coming from an application scope bean. I have debugged the application, and made sure that the object being returned by the getter of my app scope bean is not null. So basically, when the breakpoint is in the return statement of my getter the oject is not null and it has been correctly initialized. Just after that, the next breakpoint is in the class receiving the parameter in my POJO DC class. In there, the object is NULL.
    Does anyone knows wat could be the reason??

    Hi Frank Nimphius-Oracle,
    That is precisely the problem.  The object is being passed as to the taskflow as an input parameter (getting it from my application scope bean). If I access the pageFlowScope inside my taskflow I see it and its there, correctely intialized. However, when I call a method call activity that consumes that object as parameter, all what it gets is null.
    The method that consumes this object is in a separate project, and its exposed in a POJO DC. I don't know if it has to be with the complexity of the object I am passing or what but I don't understand why its not being passed correctly to the DC Method.

  • Invoking Methods to receive Object.Please Respond

    Hello there,
    What is the advantage of defining methods that
    return an object ?
    For e.g,the InetAddress class has no constructors.Rather
    we need to call the getByName() method whch returns an
    InetAddress Object.
    What is the advantage of doing this? Is this the way
    we define factory methods which return objects?
    So can we say that the InetAddress Class is a factory class?
    Regards

    This class serves however as its own factory, in the
    sense, that objects of this type can be obtained with
    the help of the folling methods:
    static InetAddress[] getAllByName(String host)
    Determines all the IP addresses of a host,
    f a host, given the host's name.
    static InetAddress getByName(String host)
    Determines the IP address of a host, given
    st, given the host's name.
    I am not so sure if either of these methods qualify as factory methods, their main purpose is not the creation of the object(s), but to find particular instances based on some criteria, the fact that they may or may not be created as a result of calling these methods is purely incidental. In my humble opinion that is...
