IDK Problems After Moving to ALI 6.5

I'm having problems with using remote API's to access Publisher after upgrading to ALUI 6.5. I tried using both the 5.4 edk and 6.0 idk, but I get the same error now for both:
The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine This error occurs when using the IFolderManager.GetFolderByPath() only when the portlet is gatewayed thru ALUI 6.5, it still functions properly under ALUI 6.1 MP1.

I notified the people involved about the kb link issue, they will work on it.
as for what the solution is:
Add this line of code before any code:
System.Net.ServicePointManager.Expect100Continue = false;
I remember testing the setting in the web.config and that didn't fix the problem for me, but adding that line above to all portlets did.
(I"m not sure why the system.net setting didn't work for me, and couldn't find any msn or google links on what the problem might be)

  • DPm 2012 r2 problem after moving Sharepoint 2013 to a differnt SQL using another alias

    Hi,
I have resently installed DPM 2012 r2 and I want to backup my Sharepoint 2013 farm. I can install the client on Sharepoint server and the SQL server. This is a new protection and I have earlier  moved the Sharepoint 2013 farm to a different SQL server
not with the same name using the SQL alias method.
When I try to create a Sharepoint backup I get the old SQL server name and error to check the SQL wss is running. The wss is running and the DPM user is local admin and sysadmin og the new SQL server. I added in hosts  the old SQL server name
pointing to the new sql server ip address.
I need to know if this is doable in DPM or must I do something else?
    thanks.

  • Problems after moving my iTunes library to an external hard drive.

Hello everyone. I recently followed the instructions in the Apple support article to move my iTunes library to an external drive. After completing all the steps in the article I consolidated my library on the new drive and verified that all of my files made it over to the new location. Then I deleted my music files from the old location and made sure, one more time, that my music and videos would still play through iTunes. Everything worked fine. The files in iTunes all referenced the new location. Then there was a problem...
The next morning I opened my iTunes and every song and video showed an exclamation point. None of them could find their files! I went into my iTunes preferences to confirm my setting were still good and found that my iTunes music folder had been changed back to its default location on my Mac hard drive! All the files are still located on my external drive where I consolidated them, but iTunes is trying to pull them from the default location.
    Why has this preference changed?
How can I fix what's happened?
And, how can I make sure this doesn't happen again?!
Thanks to anyone who wants to offer me some advice!
    Mike

I may have found an answer here:
    http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/moving-your-itunes-library-to -a-new-hard-drive
They only thing I can assume is that my external hard drive was slow to start and iTunes defaulted to its old directory (see the last paragraph at the link above). However, once my external was recognized shouldn't everything have fixed itself?

  • Problem after moving pix between rolls

Let me say up front that I know I should be using albums to organize pix. And that's what I'll do from now onn. But I could use some suggestions for dealing with this.
Dragged and dropped some pix from one roll - call it Roll A - to another, Roll B. Since there were no pix left in A, I deleted it. In the Library view, the pix/thumbnails are in B. But when I double click to them to edit (or just to view them at full size), I get a grey box with a dotted outline around an exclamation mark. A Finder search for the file name shows files in the Original and Data directories of the Library but in subdirectories that bear the original name of Roll A.
I'd rather not mess with the Finder to move these files from Directory A to Directory B. Is there some other way I can correct this?

    Jim:
Since it sounds like you used the Finder to do your reorganization, it's iffy if a rebuild will succeed. But try it anyway and select ALL FOUR options. Maybe the orphaned option will bring in those you've moved.
If that doesn't work you're looking at starting over with a new library and importing the Originals folder from the old one. Here's how to proceed:
Creating a new library while preserving the rolls from the original.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same rolls as the original library. However dates on the rolls may be different but can be edited as you would the roll title.
Once this is completed you can delete the iPhoto library folder from the desktop. If desired, you can keep the older library folder to try other fixes on it.
In the future I recommend you make a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto file after each import and after doing a lot of editing and organizing in the library. Then if you experience a similar crash all you need to do is replace the damaged database file with the backup copy and you'll be back to the same place in the library as when you make the backup. See the tip at the end of my signature. Also you can move photos between rolls but it must be done within iPhoto, not the Finder.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • EPSI Dashboard problem after moving from reporting services 2005 to 2012

I have created a Dashboard with Allscripts EPSI with a Reporting Services Report.  After we changed from Micrsosoft Reporting Services 2005 to 2012, the report now gets cut in half.  I turned a ticket in to Allscripts and they said that it had
nothing to do with their software, that it had something to do with a setting on our Reporting Services server.  Please point me into the right direction.

    Hi Jason,
Based on my understanding, after you move the report from Reporting Services 2005 to Reporting Services 2012, the report can’t display well.
In Reporting Services, upgrading a report definition in SQL Server Data Tools is the only way to upgrade the .rdl file. In your scenario, if the .rdl file isn’t upgraded in the new environment, it’s expected that the report won’t display well. So please
open an .rdl file in Report Designer in SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) within the new environment, then the Report Designer will automatically create a backup file and upgrades the report to the current namespace. After a report is upgraded, you might notice
additional errors, warnings, and messages. This is the result of changes to the internal report object model and processing components, which cause messages to appear when underlying problems in the report are detected.

  • Problem after moving "Pictures" to a different drive.

    Windows Vista. Photoshop Elements 4.0.
I, foolishly it seems, moved my Pictures folder from c drive to d drive. There are several thousand pictures.
When I then started Photoshop Organiser the program immediately went in to a search . While doing this the priogram would not accept any commands and could only be closed through Task Manager. I left it running for several hours but there was no change. I am not even sure that it was doing anything - there didn't appear to be any processor activity. But if it was searching through the whole computer for each photo in turn this could take weeks!
I then moved the pictures folder back to its original location. This did not solve the problem. The program just went into this endless search.
I then uninstalled the program and reinstalled it assuming that with a clean sheet I could point the program to my pictures folder and all would be well. However this didn't work. As soon as I started the program it went into this endless search again! I noticed that it had picked up my Collections from the previous installation so I guess there must be some data or index files somewhere that were not deleted in the uninstall and told the program to look for my pictures.
Any suggestions as to what I can do now?

PSE 4 is not supported on Vista.  PSE 5 and above are.  That may be part of your problem.
Did you move the pictures folder to precisely its original location?  Are the path names exactly the same?  I would expect that moving the folder back would solve the problem.
If you are familiar with MS Access you can use that to edit your .psa file and change drive letters.  I believe Open Office has a database program that will work also.
Did you do a file>catalog>recover at any point?  That often clears up catalog problems.

  • Small problem after moving music folder

I moved my music folder to an external drive and used the consolidate library afterwards. All the music was moved with no problems and I have no exclamation points anywhere.
My only problem was I had purchased three iPod games. They are still located in the old folder on my Mac drive but they no longer show on iTunes so they have been removed from the iPod. How can I get these games back into iTunes?
    Thanks

I posted just before you did that this was why they were not showing up. Problem is solved. The Phaze game also has a playlist and I got it to recreate the playlist by deleting it then restarting iTunes. I added songs to it and then resynced. No more problems.

  • Interesting 'problem' after moving the WSUS database

Firstly I have checked the suggested topics but none of them exactly describe the problem I have encountered.
(this link just gives a 'post not found page:  http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2009/09/23/how-to-move-sdfssdfdf-content-and-database-files-to-a-different-partition.aspx)
Okay, I have a SBS2011 server running on an HP Proliant server.  The server has been dunning flawlessly for the last 2+ years. At deployment the WSUS content was initially located on the D drive. Free space on the C drive has dropped to 16GB and
as a precaution I decided to move the WSUS DB to the D drive too.  I stopped the necessary  ISS Admin, Update and WWW services and proceeded, using  the SQL server management studio, to detach the DB, I moved (copy & paste) the DB to the
new disk and attached it the the SQL SMS.  Nothing seemed to go wrong there, however, when opening the SBS console I am missing half of my information.  The face that the necessary icons are there leads me to believe that the service is functioning
but just missing the computer info. If I click on a computer icon I can see the correct computer name.
Is there any way to fix this without deleting and reinstalling the entire WSUS service?
Thank you in advance for your time!
    Please see the screenshot below

  • Problem after moving to new house

I previously had no problem with wireless Airport Express connected via cable modem.
Now I've moved to a new house and cannot get it to work. Same Internet Service Provider. The green light on AX is on. Internet Connect utility says I am connected to AX, and that AX is connected to the internet via ethernet (?). My MacBook recognizes the AX name and says it's connected wirelessly. But then I open Safari and cannot connect to the internet.
I've reset AX by pressing the little reset button, and also reset it through Airport Utility. No luck.
Finally, my wireless connection works fine through a neighbor's system.
The only thing I know of left to try is connecting via an ethernet cable, which I don't have now.

Oh, and I can use AX to play music wirelessly just fine.

  • [Solved] X problems after moving home dir

Hey, so I tried to move home without reading up on it first. I managed to do it by copying it to a backup, changing the fstab, mounting /home to my new partition on a seperate drive, and copying all contents of the home-backup to the newly mounted /home
I rebooted and could login, but /bin/bash cannot access the /home/user directory with an error of Permsision denied. I googled it and found that I should do 'chmod 755 /' and 'chmod 755 /home/user'
Now I can access the directoyry as my user, but when I startx it prints "xauth: timeout in locking authority for /home/user/Xauthority" in about ~15 second intervals

you should've used 'cp -p' when backing up to preserve permission, ownership etc.
either way, I think it should still apply the default permissions for files when you copy it (755 for directories and 644 for files if I'm not mistaken), but it will probably change the file onwnerships if you backed up with different user (like root).
I suggest checking file ownerships in your new /home, with 'ls -l'. If they're not owned by your user, you can change this for your /home with 'chown -R <yourusername>:users /home/<yourusername>'
    It worked, thanks

  • Problem after moving the SMS Provider

Hi,  I have change the SMS Provider on a new server in my SCCM R2 SP2 configuration.  The SCCM run the sql server 2005 localy (all in 64 bits), but the SCCM Console are extremly slow on my workstation.  I have decided to move the SMS Provider on a new server.  This config is benefit to my SCCM Console, because the console run more fast.
The SCCM Server is a Dual Xeon Quad Core 3 Ghz with 32 gig of memory running Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64 with SQL 2005 Std SP2 x64.  I have move the SMS Provider on a new server running Single Xeon Quad Core with Hyperthreading and 16 gig of memory with Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64.
Now, when I try to edit Task Sequence in my OSD, I receive the error:
An error occurred when loadind the task sequence.
I use MDT 2010 integrated in my SCCM.
There is some reason for this error and how I can solve it ?
    Thanks,
    SteveSteve

  • Problem in moving a transport requst after changing the Infogroup

    Hi Experts,
Im facing a problem in  moving a transport request which has   Infogroup  changes.
In a action "intial entry of applican data"  i have added a customized infotype in the infogroup.
In Dev it is fine..after  transporting to quality even though the custom infotype  showingup in the infogroup..while performing action the particular custom IT is not populating in quality system.
What could be the problem and  how to resolve the problem
    Please advice,'
    Vi Sai.

    Hi,
Please check if you have the necessary authorization to maintain your custom infotype in QAS. Enter /nsu53 after the previous infotype (previous w.r.t the custom infotype has been saved).
Also, check if you can directly maintain the infotype through PA30.
    Hope this helps.
    Donnie

  • Failed boot after moving hard drive (IDE not SATA)

    Greetings all.
I am attempting to setup a headless box, and in doing so I am installing Arch on one system (Sapphire Axion A3-M275 Motherboard), then moving the hard drive to the new system (SGS1660, a VIA CLE266/VT8235 based headless rack-solution). After moving the drive into the SGS1660, the system fails to boot. Attached output from the Serial Console:

I think what is happening is that the kernel does not have the drivers for the IDE controller on the board for the CLE266/VT8235. Does this seem accurrate? And if so, how can I verify the current kernel config, then compile a kernel with everything else Arch needs to boot properly? I am familiar with the old means of setting up a kernel using the 'make menuconfig; make; make modules_install' etc method.
Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi, not sure if this is still causing you an issue, but I just ran into the same problem.
For me, I have a Sharp PC=MM1110 which has no cd drive and doesn't like to boot from USB. To get Arch installed on it, I had to attach it to another PC (via it's docking cradle, which lets it show up as a USB hard drive), then boot the other PC from an Arch install cd and select the USB hdd for all of the partitioning etc.
When I rebooted after the installation, the Sharp wouldn't boot.
First, I had to edit the grub menu entry to point to (hd0,0), at which point I got the error listed in the first post... Failed to parse block device id's.
If i booted into fallback mode, it booted without a problem.
For me, the solution to finally get it working was to boot into fallback mode, remount the filesystem as r/w, and run mkinitcpio -g filename to rebuild the kernel. Once completed all I had to do was point grub to the new kernel image and it booted ok.
Hope this is useful to someone

For one, after installing Windows using Boot Camp with Mac OS X 10.5.1, I opened Windows on my Mac Book, inserted the Mac OS X Disk 1 as in the instructions and got the message: +"This package requires a newer version of the Windows installer. Do you want to update the version of the Windows Installer on your system?"+ When I clicked Yes (I had NO idea what it meant at the time), I got the message: "The required resource 'UPDATE' is missing" and the Installer quit.
How do I fix this problem?
Another problem I have is that there is no sound on the Windows XP, yet it works perfectly on Mac OS X. Is there any way to fix this problem?
A third problem I have is that I can't wirelessly connect to the internet using Window XP, yet I can on Mac OS X. I have no idea on how to fix this, and it's really messing with me. D:<
D: There are way too many problems, and I have a feeling there will be a lot more later on. Help....

  • How do i play my videos in flash file after moving SWF file to website?

    Hello all,
I am having some problems showing my videos in flash after moving it anywhere besides my computer.
I published my flash file once as a exe. file and sent it to another computer, where it all worked but my videos, which didn't show up at all.
I also published them as SWF files, then put them up on my free website (where i don't have access to the ftp) and the videos still aren't there.
The videos will play fine in an SWF file on my computer, but i am assuming when they are away from the videos, they don't have a source to access them.
I also tried sending the videos along with the SWF files when sending to other computers and it still doesn't work.
I now have a free hosted website (with wix.com if that makes any difference) with my flash work on, but no videos. I even tried to embed a youtube video into the scenes the videos are meant to appear, and put the videos on youtube, then i discovered you can't put that sort of HTML into flash.
Does anyone know how to show the videos on these sort of website, or even better, how to keep them in original file when sending them, so they show on other computers.
Sorry if I've waffled but I'm trying to clear up my situation .
Any help would be super, many thanks,
    Flasher87

i am using the website wix, so in order to put the swf file up you just click the "Upload SWF" button, so i don't know how i could put the videos along with the swf, the swf is just sat on the page once i upload it.
second, when using this type of website do you know how i'd go about giving the website the permissions to play flv files?
    Thank you.
