Function Module to Generate Outbound IDOC for Sales Documents
Hello Experts,
Can someone please help me, I need to know which function module to use in order to generate the outbound IDOC for sales documents. Some of the fm's I have come across are the following:
IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS, but actually for Purchase Orders
IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP, but did not generate any IDocs for my sample Sales Order.
Points will be given for any help provided.
Thanks in advance.Hi Nagaraj,
I tried using the IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS but I keep getting an error that the Purchase Order <xxx> does not exist, even though the document I tried is a sales order. For everyone's reference here is the code:

IDOC for changing user status to 'HIST' on Functional Location
Hi.
Can anyone please support me with an inbound IDOC for changing status on existing Functional Location?
Thanks.Hi ,
I am not sure whether it would work with LSMW but if your on ECC 6.00 ,Enhacement Pack 3 then you have BADIs which allow you to make collective status changes in IW38 .The below are those BADIs :-
BADI_EAM_RIAUFK20_FCODE_CUS1 :Implement Customer Function Code in Order List
BADI_EAM_RIAUFK20_FCODE_SAP1 :Implement SAP Function Code in Order List
Else if your on lower version then write up a batch programme which checks the PM Order types with specific status and sets user status using FM STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN[This is used to set or delete User Status] in SE37 ..

Outbound IDOCs for Functional Location
Hi experts
We are planning to use IDOCs for interfacing SAP and Legacy system using XI.
THis will be an outbound interface as we will be updating the legacy system with SAP.Therefore I am looking for a standard outbound IDOC for functional location.
So far I have not found one. Can you advise the outbound IDOC for Functional location ?
Another question I have , I have found some IDOC's but they are not released , Is there a way to release the IDOC's, what needs to be done for this.
Many Thanks
Regards
GauravHi Vinod,
This is the case for the 2 outbound Idocs from ECC to SNC for which settings have been maintained to send them immediately:
1. PORDCR1
2. STPOD
I have asked my PI team to check the PI port / PI cache. Will keep the thread updated if theres any resolution.

Procedure for Mapping two types of Idocs from RFC function Module
Hi
My Scenario is RFC -- XI -- IDOC
Here i have 2 custom Idocs
First IDOC for Creation
second is for Deletion/Changing
Based on the condition from RFC it should trigger either one of the IDOC above.
Please provide me the procedure to do in IR and ID..
Regards,
Yeswanth.YeswanthRaj:
I found your conflicted statements
The following statement you say you just have one receiver, to receive two IDOCs
But i have only one receiver where the 2 IDOcs needs to be send based on the condition..
The following statements showing that you have more than one receiver,
the condition editor for receiver determination usually used for multiple receivers based on XPATH or Context Object condition
It is mapped based on the condition that is given in Receiver Determination and i has two interface Determinations.
It seems that the first scenario is your situation.
If your answer is yes, and your source interface is just one,and target interface is two (two IDOC), then this should be typical
muti-mapping scenario, and the propose I gave to you should fit

Extended IDOC for transaction VL02N : Error 51
Dear,
I am Working on Extended IDOC for transaction VL02N (Outbound Delivery) and stuck in Inbound with Error 51: Specifications for units and quantities contain errors VBPOK-MEINS TO LIPS-MEINS MT.
Message no. VL282
How to resolve it?
At Outbound Programmed at EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 and at Receiver did WE57, BD51, WE42, WE20 and using listed below programs.
Function Module - IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY - SAP Standard
Function Type - F (Function Module)
Basic Type - DELVRY03 - SAP Standard
IDOC (Enhancement) - ZDELV - Custom
Message Type - ZDELVRY - Custom
Process Code - DELV - SAP Standard
Thanks-
VarunHi varun,
in SAP you have a few keys that not only have a description depending on language but also the key itself varies from language to language. You can see that if you double-click on a unit field like i.e. MARA-MEINS: On domain level it will show a conversion exit. If you try the conversion exit function modules, you will find out that i.e. PC english pieces will be mapped to internal ST wich comes from the german Stück which is the translation of pieces.
Be aware that this special logic may apply for document types, partner types and a few more (?).
So, in IDoc processing this may cause harm. I did not analyze DELVRY03 structure and processing, I don't know any of your data, I haven't seen any line of your code, I don't know what you actually implemented.
So now it is your turn to check what you pass in the unit fields and how this is handled.

Edited by: Sunil Joyous on Dec 2, 2009 1:52 PMThanks Venu for your input.
Unfortunetly we do not have Java stack on our development system. You said we can test it by SOAP UI tool. Where do I see the WSDL file for the service?
I used WSDL from SE80 --> Service --> WSDL tab, but SOAP UI does not accept this format ?
What are the other ways I can test this web service? I think about SAP PI, importing RFC & creating web service or creating ABAP proxies... Which is the best way to go forward in case you do not have Java stck.

Hi Gurus,
Pls help me to understand this functionality:
Shipments destined for a Distribution Center will generate ASNu2019s(advance shipping notification) to alert the Distribution Center to the upcoming receipt.
There are two variations of the transaction that will initiate the ASN:
u2022 Receipt of an ASN from a vendor to a Distribution Center will result in the creation of an Inbound Delivery. That Inbound Delivery must be sent to WM via IDOC.
u2022 Shipments from Distribution Center to DC will create an Outbound Delivery from the u201CClose Loadu201D process in Warehouse M. Creation of the Outbound Delivery to another DC is the trigger for the IDOC to WM.
The IDOC to be used could be a variation of the DELVRY03.
My doubts includes:
1. can I use one idoc for both the scenarios?
2. both are outbound idocs or not?
3. Any suggestions how to do this?
Thanks..

Yes you can use IDOC DELVRY03 for both scenarios

Shibu David wrote:

No.
ASN sent to DC will be outbound message.
ASN received by DC, which creates Inbound delivery is inbound message.

As far as I know message type used in SAP for ASN is DESADV.
For inbound ASN use process code DELS and for outbound use DELV -
Creation of Inbound Idoc for the Outbound Idoc in same client
Hi,
My requirement:
Whenver an PO is created an Outbound IDOC is generated in system ABC with client 100.I want to pass this IDOC data to create an Inbound Idoc for Sales Order(SO) in the same client.
It would be helpful if anyone can answer on how to Transfer the Outbound Idoc after it crosses the port.
I found there is a field for function module in WE21,can this be used to get the requirement done.
Please suggest.

Message type for generating IDOC for SUBCONTRACTING PURCHASE ORDER
Hi All,
I have to generate IDOC for PO creation or change .
I am using IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS and IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG.
The messagetype.idoctype I am using is ORDERS. ORDERS05 and ORDCHG. ORDERS05.
Now the confusion is regarding whether this message type will work in case of SUBCONTRACTING PURCHASE ORDER as well ?
As I have gone through some websites and came to know that I will have to use PORDCR1.PORDCR102 specially for subcontracting.
And programs we need to use is BUS2012_ICH_R3 instead of RSNASTED and Form Routine SEND_PORDCR1 instead of EDI_PROCESSING.

I hope your experience will help me .
Please reply ASAP.
Edited by: uttam27 on Dec 4, 2011 1:47 PMThere is a generic function to create change pointers for all message typs - 'CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE_DIRECT'. This is triggered only if you configure your message type to create change pointers from BD50.
Once you activate it do any change to orders you can see change pointer tables BDCPV filled. Then BD21 will read the changes and generated outbound idocs accordingly. -
Need Help for useOneAsmany function
My input structure is <Record> 1- unbounded
<header> 1-1
<Data1> 1-unbounded
<data2> 1-unbounded
<footer> 1-1
i want to create the IDOC for data1 and data2 and using the header field while creating the IDOC.So i'm using useOneAsMany for achieving this and its working fine.
But when i duplicate the <record> node I get the following error:
"Too many values in first queue in function useOneAsMany. It must have the same number of contexts as second queue."
Is it possible to use useOneAsMany when the file contains more than 1 record?or is it possible for only one record. Please help me in this
Thanks in advance
SreediviaHi,
Same problem i faced, are you using E1EDP01 node?
If yes it happens only once, don't duplicate that node.
One as Many : we have one value in the source side, but we can use that many times in the target sede in this
conditions we can use this node function.
Here it takes 3 inputs, first value represents the value to populate in the target side
second value represents howmany times the first value occur in the target side and the
third value represents where the context should change.
watch this blog for one as many node function. /people/riyaz.sayyad/blog/2006/04/23/introduction-to-context-handling-in-message-mapping -
Sub: How to send idoc for IW31.
Dear All,
Content: My requirement is to send the idoc for maintanance order- IW31. I found the message type as IORDER. I am not able to use change pointer IORDER is not matching, as i am not able to find the message type, when executing BD21 (for change pointer).
Please let me know the procedure for sending idoc for IW31.This is what it worked for me, to create an INBOUND IDOC to transaction IW31:
I converted BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to an IDOC
1) In transaction SWO1 copy model BUS2007A to ZBUS2007A (make sure set the status to implemented Edit->Change Release Status->Object type -> to implemented.
2)In transaction BDBG, check Object type, Object ZBUS2007A, Method ORDERMAINTAIN
you can check
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/21740f51ce11d189570000e829fbbd/content.htm
I Put in Message type ZORDERMAIN
IDoc Type ZORDERMAIN01
the function name will be: ZIDOC_INPUT_ZORDERMAIN
3) configure transaction BD51
4) Configure transaction WE57
5) Configure transaction WE42
6) and Finally Transaction WE20
In my case it worked, still I modified function ZIDOC_INPUT_ZORDERMAIN, and in the call function to BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN I commented the releationship tables.(They were giving me some errors)
Hope this info will help someone.
