Idoc to Webservice to Idoc scenario- is this possible without BPM?

Hi guys
We have a scenario where we need to send an IDoc to webservice and get the response back into another IDoc.
Questions:
1. Is this scenario possible without a BPM? or do we need to use BPM (Sync-Async bridge).
2. Is there a Async to Sync bridge in BPM?
3. How do I use this bridge in my scenario and customize it?

You need BPM

You dont need a "bridge", just take a synchronous send step
3. How do I use this bridge in my scenario and customize it?
Map the IDoc to request container and the response container to the second IDoc.
Your need 4 container, receive step, transformation, send step (synchronous), transformation, send step (asyncronous)

My wife lost her iPhone two weeks ago while on vacation in London (cell service inoperative in foreign country). Using Find My iPhone app on my device, I activated Lost Mode and Play Sound. However, both are listed as "Pending," since it those actions require the phone to connect to the internet (wifi only due to no cellular data coverage.).
We recently returned home and purchased a new iPhone.
However, when looking to restore the apps/settings from her old phone using a previous iCloud backup, iCloud indicates that the old phone connected to iCloud and backed up the original phone at a date that is 1 week after it went missing. How is this possible without locking (Lost Mode Pending an internet connection)?
If the phone was activated and connected to the internet via a wifi signal, shouldn't it immedately lock, show up on the map, Play Sound, and send me an email that the phone has been found?
I also read somewhere that if running iOS 7, the iCloud website interface enables you to track previous locations, for instance if the phone moves from wifi hotspot to hotspot. Is that true? If so, how do I do that?

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library. If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library. So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.

Only way to do it:
Export each Event to folders in the Finder from the iPhoto 11 machine, copy those folders to the 09 machine. Import them.
Apps like iPhoto2Disk or PhotoShare will help you export to a Folder tree matching your Events.

So you have all you music on the iPhone, right? and you want to transfer FROM the iPhone TO the computer?
You can't do that with iTunes as far as i know, but you could probably get by that going through "this computer" or something.. I'm not sure, but technically it should be possible.

DSfW desaster recovery in a single DSfW server scenario - is this possible?

Is it possible to do a bare metal recovery or another disaster recovery
of a single DSfW server in a multi server edir tree?
I could not find anything useful on that issue and in the meantime I
doubt, that this is at all possible.
There are several edir attributes for DSfW objects, which are set to
not replicate. These are only stored on the local server and lost if
you loose the local edir replica e.g. due to a server failure.Further I
have learned that restoring a local edir replica from backup into an
existing and running edir tree is an absolute no go, if you want to
avoid quite a lot of troubles. Furthermore you cannot manage those
values with the edir tools available for users and administrators, you
can set them only via the tools, which are used by NTS so in fact only
via opening a SR.
On a simple non DSfW OES server, you can do a disaster restore without
having to hassle with not replicated attributes.
In a single server tree, there is also no problem.
I think there needs to be a solution to this problem, but I doubt there
is one. I only remember the troubles I had after an edir crash on my
DSfW server where the lack of correct values for those attributes after
rebuilding the dib from the other replicas, lead to quite some
problems, which could only be solved via NTS.
I even think, that without help from NTS you are unable to restore a
crashed DSfW server in a multi DSfW server tree, but you are at least
able to install a new server, which can take over the role of the
crashed server.

I have 1 iMac, two users (myself and my wife), 2 different Apple ID's, and I want to buy Pages from the App Store so we both can use. Is this possible without having to buy it twice?

I am wanting to purchase the Pages app from the App Store. I do not want to purchase it 2 times, once for me, and again for my wife. We both share the same iMac, and we both use seperate Apple ID's. Is there a way to purchase it under my user, and have it download to her user as well? I have searched all over the forums for a cut and dry answer to this, to no avail. Is this possible without PBR - Routing from Specific Host to Any

Hi,
I have an issue where I don't currently have PBR options on my core switch. Now I know I can amend the SDM template and enable the routing one then reboot (I'm also runing ipservices). At the moment though this is not an option.
I have a host - 10.44.129.34 /24 which is a VM.
Current Gateway is 10.44.129.1 which is SVI on our Core.
On the Core I'm looking to say - anything from this specific host going to any remote network - use gateway 10.44.157.6. Is there a way for me to achieve this without PBR?
I cannot amend the IP of the host IP either due to licensing issues with the software I can;t think of a way to do this without PBR.

You can identify the traffic with an extended access list. But I can not think of anything you could do with that to achieve your objective other than PBR.

IPad Screen Recorder, will it take Apple modifying iOS to make this possible without jailbreaking?

Is there something in IOS that makes it impossible to create a Display / Screen Recorder, without jailbreaking?
I see more and more apps that have built-in screen recording capabilities into their applications. Mostly in Educational Apps and a few drawing apps:
ExplainEverything, ShowMe, ScreenChomp, and Brushes to name a few. However there are no Apps that can create a screencast of you working on your iPad without jailbreaking. Initially I thought it was the lack of mutlitasking but that was mostly taken care of with the iPad 2. Yet there are still no Apps that can perform screen recordings of the iPad.
Apple before every developer attempts to create this within their own Apps some well and some badly, wouldn't it make sense to have an Apple developed or Apple / TechSmith partnership to create an iPad Screen Recording capability in the iPad 1, iPad 2 and all future iPads.
It is a post PC world and I shouldn't have to connect my iPad to my MacBook or PC just to capture my iPad screen (Not just an Image, but real-time screen recording). Even an external piece of hardware small, inexpensivew with either an SD card or SSD Drive for storage that plugs into the iPads and iPhones would be better than nothing. A software App that runs on the iPad is the ideal. So before this type of Universal App can be created, is there something that Apple needs to do or provide hooks for to make this happen.

Because the hard drive has gone bad, but it still has files I want to transfer and they are picture files so too big to burn to dvd, I want to install a new drive and delete the system files on the old one, then transfer the pic files to the new hard drive. But do systems conflict if they are on both drives? Can this be done?
Some programs don't work on the old drive but the picture files remain accessible.

No.
Presumably you will make a clean installation on the new drive, not clone the system from the dodgy drive.

I brought a 6 and want to exchange for a 6, the phone is new is this possible without charge?

At christmas time I brought myself a 6+, I have now decided that it is possible it is too big for my personal use. The phone still has its box and headphones, but the charger has been used. Would it possible for me to return the phone and exchange the phone for a 6 without charge or would there be a charge ? there is no cosmetic damage as the phone has had a case on since purchase and screen protector?

Creating Multiple different IDocs without BPM

Hi all,
I have a scenario in where I have a input structure and have to create multiple different IDocs (the types of the IDocs are also different)
For example,
Input XML will create 5 IDocs of type A, 3 IDocs of type B, 1 IDocs of type C, no IDocs for type D and 10 IDocs for type E.
Is this possible without BPM? This will be a complex Mapping. In BPM I am sure for every type to create one send step would be easy. But would it be more efficient?

JMS to Synchronous Web Service Scenario (Need Advice to use BPM or Not)

Hi Experts,
We have a scenario where we fetch data from JMS Sender and Send it to MDM Webservices.
We want to have the files processed in such a way that until we get a response from webservice back that it was sucessful ,then only we need to process the next file.
We would need advice as can we use BPM for this.
We are thinking of having BPM like this:
RecieveStep(Asyn)-SynchronousSend Step(with wait)-Stop
The problem with this is when processing huge files the processing time of the Queue is taking very long and sometimes we are getting SYSFAIL.
Please would anyone advice as how can we approach this scenario either using BPM or without.
Also Can we use multiple queues or multpile instances concept for this scenario.
Please Advice.

The response from Webservice does not need to be sent anywhere.
We just want that after recieving the response back from webservice(SOAP) then only we need to process the next file.
Can we control something from Sender JMS adapter side as well as it is picking up all the files and all files wait at BPE until each one gets processed.
Is this possible without BPM or with BPM.
Please advice as what wud be possible steps inorder to achive it through BPM or Without BPM.
