Just search the web. There are lots of tutorials for the beginner. http://sptci.com/products/articles/iPhoneSDK.pdf had a very simple app creation tutorial at the end. It should still work, althought that was created a few years ago.

Looking for a simple drawing application for my grand-daughters

Well, that's more or less it, I'm looking for a simple drawing application for my grand-daughters. In the children section of iTunes store, there's only a few books and nothing more. I bought the iPad mainly for my grand-children to teach them a bit and I don't find interesting things for them.
Can anybody help me with that?

Brushes is a nice finger drawing app. Since you didn't say how old they are, I don't know if the interface is to difficult for them to use.
Sketchbook is another nice drawing app.
Neither are free.

I want to create a simple SCM application for hardware shopee.
I want to know all idea behind it, want to clear all concepts,required tables, etc

Will that be a web-application like oracle.com or ebay? in this case, i would re-think the idea of using forms. Or is it an application which will be used "in-house" in a company over the intranet?
Anyway, before deciding the tool to implemnet something, wouldn't it be better to get the requirements right (functionaltity, data-objects)?

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Even for a skilled programmer, porting something from one platform to another is generally a lot more than a few hours work since the application will need to be completely rewritten to work within the SDK framework.

Is there an application anyone is aware of in the app store that provides live prices for the Australian share market or ASX?

You can stream Live365 with the Tuner app on a 3G iPhone. To do this you need to create a bookmark entry (or just open the URL) in the usual stream format e.g. http://iport . If you are not sure of the ip address or port number for a given Live365 stream, connect from a PC (or Mac) and open a command prompt window (start, run, cmd [RETURN]). Type: netstat -a [RETURN] and look at the list of TCP entries for any URL that contains .live365.com: and you should be able to work out the DNS name / IP address and Port being used. Bear in mind however, that Live365 dynamically assigns the port for Live broadcasts so the port may change if the broadcast is reset.
For example, Pulse FM on Live365 is available on the following URL: http://ss35.live365.com:21606 - but without any credenitals being embedded you will have to suffer the initial Live365 ads... But hey, it works!

Mobile iPhone Application for SAP B1 Documentation

SAP releases the following statement on their landing page for their customers about using iPhone App in version 8.8. Direct copy and paste:
I am already using SAP Business One. Are there any requirements to be able to use this app?
You need to be running SAP Business One version 8.8 with a professional user license. Before you start using the app, make sure your SAP partner configures the mobility settings in SAP Business One.
Where is the documentation that is the checklist for installing and getting the mobile app up and running? You know, the usual documentation from step A to Z - go to Add-ons and do this, go to User and do this, etc. All I can find are videos/documents that are marketing oriented. I have the user guide "Setting Up Mobile Scenario in 8.8", but it is woefully lacking in several steps (ie, it says some fields are mandatory, but SAP does not even mention what "code" column is supposed to mean).
Anyone else have any luck digging out the pertinent information from SAP sites which SAP should have prominently highlighted to its partners before rolling this out? Where can I find it?
This all seems to be a rather disconnected roll-out.

Until it is changed, select "Updates" (not the other areas stated in some documentation, videos, and threads) and select "SAP Business 8.8", then "B1 8.8 Integration Component", and then it can be downloaded.

How to enable iphone application for multiple iDevices associated with single user for non renewable subscription?

I am developing an ios application which has non renewable subscription.
Which algorithm would be best if the very time an authorized user purchase my application after paying charge for it , can download it for other devices assocated with him for free?

Thanks! I see a potential problem--iTunes must be open on the main(?) other computer for sharing to works, according to some of the documentation. My situation is that daughter 1 grabs the main computer, access iTunes and her account. Then daughter 2 comes into room, screams upon seeing daughter 1 using the iTunes computer.
I want daughter 2 to calmly walk to computer 2, open iTunes and somehow seamlessly access her iTunes library. In that case, iTunes may be open on computer 1, but not with her library open or her id in force. It might also be the situation that computer 1 does not have iTunes even running at that time, if daughter 1 is on Facebook.
Can Home Sharing handle this situation?

Has anyone has experience with Tuxera NTFS for Mac?

Is Tuxera NTFS for Mac always uses uper 30% of CPU? I'm not sure if it's just my mind but my Mac runs quite hot. I wonder if it has anything to do with the tuxera_ntfs process that runs upper 30% to 50%. Is there a utility tool I can run to show me the termperation of this Macbook Air and whether the fan is high or low? Is there a way to manually run a process only when I need it instead of set to automatic launch when the computer is turned on?

Check the support section on the Tuxera web site. I have never used this application.
FAT has 4GB size limitation that's why I do not want to use FAT.
Understood. I am not challenging you, but usually an internal HDD is not formatted for Mac and Windows, external ones are. I am curious as to your reasons.

- can't edit, add to or create groups in contacts on the phone
- can't add a whole group at once to an email "to"or cc or bcc field. have to keep adding one at a time..
- can't insert contact details to a SMS conversation.
- draft emails don't autosave, have lost a few like this.
and boy does it need a usb port, even one that can maybe stick out of the earphone jack as an accessory.

Massive help with an iPhone Application...PLEASE! :(

Hello.
Since yesterday I have been trying to hunt down a bug in a simple iPhone application I made while following an exercise from the iPhone SDK Development book. Its a simple application with a navigation controller and a table view.

In the main view when the application is opened, you see a list of items and an option to edit them or add an item. When you click on add, a new view controller is popped, you get a textfield and a keyboard, and when you are done you go back to the table view and the name you just entered is added to the list.
The problem is that as soon as you hit done on the keyboard, or click back on the navigation bar I get the following messages in the console:

I have reinstalled my developer tools, created a new project from scratch, added the frameworks again and nothing seems to work.
I though it might me something with my frameworks. But then I downloaded a bunch of the samples with table views and navigation controllers, and they all work fine. All my other applications work fine too, except this one.
I have spent all morning, and all afternoon yesterday trying to find out whats wrong, but im not an Xcode or Cocoa expert and I was hoping I could find some help.
The project can be downloaded for anyone to test with.
Please! any help I get would be gladly appreciated.

Ok I downloaded it, ran it on the simulator and everything was fine. Put it on my device and i got an EXCBADACCESS when I clicked the done button as you described.
EXCBADACCESS means something is getting released before you're trying to access it again. I opened the debug console to see this. Then I opened the debugger to find out exactly what the issue is. In my stack the last custom method that was called is [RootViewController addTeamNamed:] This makes me believe the array is being released.
Now I take your addTeamNamed method and pepper it with log statements:

The console output of which is: "A B C". Ok, no D, so that means the error is the in the insertRows... method.

Recommend a simple iphone password app that backs up to an Excel file?

Need a simple password application for iphone (5C). App should reside entirely on the phone not the cloud, backup by wifi to computer, backup to or export the entire password file to an Excel file, have a search function for subjects, click to enter password into webpage, place for notes on password entry.
