If I wanted a computer with issues I would have bought a windows computer

I made the switch to mac in 2009 and I haven't looked back. That is until I "upgraded" to Lion. Since then my 17" MacBook Pro works and functions like a Windows PC on its last breath. For one I connected my Andoid phone to sync some info to it and it bricked my phone. Two my battery only lasts three hours if that I am used to being able to go all day long on one charge. Three because of who I work for I need to use windows so I used boot camp to install Windows 7 Pro. Now my Windows partition crashes when I need to use it. four when I open my MacBook Pro the keyboard lights up but the computer does not wake up, even by clicking the mouse or pressing keys. I have found that if I change the brigntness of the screen when this happens my screen will turn on. This is not too big of an issue since I have found a work around for my mac to come out of sleep mode but, come on. I bought a Mac not a Windows computer. Lion has made me less productive and this doesn't sit well with me. Until Lion is fixed I will name this operating system Mac OS Vista.

If you go into the recovery partition "Command + R" you can redo the install and it usually fixes most problems. Also make sure that your mac apps are all Lion compatible and they are 64 bit.
