Iframe 2 targets for 1 link (sorry to insist)

That's is my very simple example code:

I wonder if it is possible, clicking for instance on the
menu2 link , to display the page menuiframe.html in the "menu"
iframe and the page menuiframe2.html in "menu2" iframe, or anyway
to display with the same link two different html pages in two
different iframes.

Of course you can. That's how I did the captions on the
fairfax site.

are requested
by the visitor. Click on a thumbnail image (or link) and the
placeholder's
link is rewritten dynamically to the new incoming image. The

Is there a rule to set a standard "Target" for a link?

i was just wondering if there is a specific rule to set the "Target" to "_Blank" as a standard for all my links.
in the window for the new rules i cant find any options for this.

This would not be a CSS thing. You would have to do it either with a standard HTML 'target' attribute or with some custom javascript on the page.
There is no way to specify that all links sitewide use some default value.

Substitution for DB link in Interactive report

Is it possible to use substitution strings for DB link in Interactive report in same way like it works in Classic reports (by choosing Generic column) or in any other way.
Currently when i'm trying to put SQL like :
select empno, empname from emp@&DB_LINK.

It is possible. We have an application that uses the same code set (pages) where the user can select which target instance will be used at run time.
The trick is that the DB link substitution variable must contain the "@" character. So your query looks like:
select ...
from my_table&TARGET.
where...
&TARGET. must be something like "@my_database" .
At compile time, &TARGET. will be null, and the table name can be resolved, if there really is a table, my_table in your parsing schema, or a vaild synonym.
You can have a synonym available at "compile" time, when you save the page source. For example, the synonym my_table equates to my_table@your_database, which has to exist.
There several other things that must be done, but this should get you started.

As in procedure we use

where Staging Database and Target Database are logical schemas which will associate to respective physical schema while execution so the above statement will become as

I just wanted to know if there is any way by which i can apply samethings for Database Links also.
Like if i have statements

can i replace DB links like Target_Database and Staging_Database?

Bash script for checking link status

So I'm doing some SEO work I've been tasked with checking a couple hundred thousand back links for quality. I found myself spending a lot of time navigating to sites that no longer existed. I figured I would make a bash script that checks if the links are active first. The problem is my script is slower than evolution. I'm no bash guru or anything so I figured maybe I would see if there are some optimizations you folks can think of. Here is what I am working with:

Can you guys think of another way of doing this that might be quicker? I realize the bottleneck is curl (as well as the speed of the remote server/dns servers) and that there isn't really a way around that. Is there another tool or technique I could use within my script to speed up this process?
I will still have to go through the active links one by one and analyze by hand but I don't think there is a good way of doing this programmatically that wouldn't consume more time than doing it by hand (if it's even possible).

I know it's been awhile but I've found myself in need of this yet again. I've modified Xyne's script a little to work a little more consistently with my data. The problem I'm running into now is that urllib doesn't accept IRIs. No surprise there I suppose as it's urllib and not irilib. Does anyone know of any libraries that will convert an IRI to a URI? How to remove bullets and spacing for url links in the Related Links iview?

I tried to look for a property that I can edit the look-n-feel of the url links in the Related Link iView using "Theme Editor".
All I need is to remove the bullets and increase some vertical spacing between the links.
Currently, it looks like this:
URL iView A
URL Iview B
I go through the whole section of Related Links properties, none of them seems to do what I want.
Here are the list of properties in Related Link section (of Navigation Panel):
Link Color
Text Decoration of Link
Hover Color
Text Decoration of Hovered Link
Initially, I thought "Text Decoration of Link" should be the right property I should look at. But there are a drop-down with 5 options: None, Underline, Blinking, Overline and Line-Through, which really can't achieve what I want.

I checked the Related iView properties (URL Template), I don't see what layoutset it is really using. I am not sure, is that a layout set apply to the Related Link Iview?
For the regular KM iView, I will see what Layout Set I want to apply, then I can go and change the properties (of layout coontroller, collection renderer & resource renderer)you mentioned. But for this Related Link iView, I really don't know. I guess it may be in the code itself.
If there is a layout set for Related Link iView (or the place to apply layout set to it), can you point to me which one is that? (I did a search through the layout set names, I only find the AppQuicklinkExplorer (I used this for Dynamic Nav. Link iView before), if I can aply this layout set to Related Link iView, my problem will be solved.)

Standard or Pro would be licensed through your serial number, the download link and downloaded file would be the same for both of them.
Pro or Standard would be determined after you put in your serial number.

Why is Firefox opening a separate browser window for each link instead of a new tab in the current browser window?

Suddenly firefox has started opening a new, separate browser window for every link and thing I open. It used to just open a new tab in the current browser. I must have closed down 15 browsers when trying to get back to a previous web page - the back button doesn't work when each click leads to a new window opening! I went into options and my settings have not changed, they still say "open new tab" for links. This just started happening out of the blue today. What's up?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Why dbms_metadata.get_ddl can not work for db link?

db: 10.2.4
os: RH linux 5
our problem is that we can not get ddl from dbms_metadata.get_ddl for database link, however the db link does exist here as below.

I ran into this in a slightly different form, I can't remember all the rules and details, but to work around it I had to specify a fake name appendage in the db link creation in order to keep it from automatically appending the global domain.
Something like
create database link abcdef.remotealias connect to ... using 'remotealias'
rather than
create database link abcdef connect to... using 'remotealias'
At least I think it was fake, I was flopping around trying things until I got it to work, and I wound up making it the same as the tnsnames alias. I think I decided I didn't have to, but left it as the lesser of two confusions, and was miffed that the creation scripts I had been using for years suddenly had to be fixed. Yeah, it was my own damned fault, but I still think the way this works is crazy. Now hopefully someone will explain this simply so I look foolish.
