Image based of all the colors currently in the swatch

Are there anyone who know a method or script that enables generation of an image based of all the colors currently in the swatch?
I would want it to fill a grid, with a patch of the color with the colors name underneath it, and with the name of the swatch as a header on a black background. Maybe even with the lab, cmyk and rgb values underneath each color.
The colors need to be arranged in the same manner as in the swatch.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure this is possible, but you might want to post this in the scripting forum or on ps-scripts.com.  Here is a link to a topic along the lines that you want on ps-scripts.com:

  • Nokia Image Store thinks all the pics on my phone ...

    Hi,
    Today Nokia Image Store (PC Suite 6.84.10.3) is trying to transfer all the images on my phone (Nokia 6682) to my computer. I have tried rebooting my computer and my phone and it didn't help. I have about 500 pics on my phone and want to avoid transferring them all again.
    Is there a way to correct this problem (i.e. remind Image Store that all the pics from my phone have already been transferred)?
    Thank you.
    Asa

    Thanks. It was already setup to use a subdirectory with the transfer date.. I shave sucked it in and followed your suggestion to just let it copy them again. Not such a big deal I guess

    Sorry to hear this isn't going smoothly for you. Try  Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may have seen some of the suggestions here before but is has taken some users more than one attempt.

    Try replacing

  • HT201528 IDVD version of videos pause momentarily about every ten seconds and diagonal lines are ziggy. Image looks good all the way through the process and even on idvd

    I am trying to make a dvd from a video I shot with a Sony HD avchd camera on a new mac mini running mac os x version 10.7.4
    I'm using an up to date  Imovie but copied IDVD version 7.1.2  and the support libraryt from an up to date macbook.  The video is about 40 minutes long.  It looks beautiful all the way from teh camera to playing it on idvd, but when I play the dvd on a player or in a computer it stops momentariily about every ten seconds and the picture is ziggy on diagonal lines.
    Also, if I try to save the movie as a .mov file there is no audio.
    Can't I move idvd to my new computer?

    Hi
    Why is the picture better all the way to iDVD - then degrades on the DVD
    • DVD is as standard - interlaced SD-Video
    If You need better then only way is via Blu Ray
    • iMovie'08 to 11 - can not deliver this any way known to me to iDVD - first step in the degradation process
    Use iMovie HD6 or FinalCut to do this delivery to 100% of what's possibly
    Jaggy diagonal lines - mostly due to the use of iMovie'08 to 11 as they only deliver every second line in an already limited quality as interlaced SD-Video - taking away 50% doesn't improve a bit
    Jumpy movie -. most often due to feeding iDVD wrong frame rate and forceing it to convert - IT DOES this BADLY. I use JES_Deinterlacer (free on internet) to do this and it does this even better than pay applications.
    iDVD can only deliver 25fps (PAL) or 29.97fps (30fps) (NTSC) - so feeding it
    • 24 i or p
    • 50p or
    • 60p
    Will not improve at all.
    If iMovie'08 to 11 are only option - Then
    • DO NOT - Share to iDVD - as this too degrade the final product
    • I do - Share to Media Browser - and as - LARGE - Not HD or other resolution as this too degrades quality
    More can be said on this - My long note follows - if of interest.
    DVD quality
    1. iDVD 08, 09 & 11 has three levels of qualities. (version 7.0.1, 7,0.4 & 7.1.1) and iDVD 6 has the two last ones
    • Professional Quality
    (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - BEST (but not always for short movies e.g. up to 45 minutes in total)
    • Best Performances
    (movies + menus  less than 60 min.) - High quality on final DVD (Can be best for short movies)
    • High Quality (in iDVD08 or 09) / Best Quality (in iDVD6)
    (movies + menus up to 120 min.) - slightly lower quality than above
    Menu can take 15 minutes or even more - I use a very simple one with no audio or animation like ”Brushed Metal” in old Themes.
    About double on DL DVDs.
    2. Video from
    • FCE/P - Export out as full quality QuickTime.mov (not self-containing, no conversion)
    • iMovie x-6 - Don't use ”Share/Export to iDVD” = destructive even to movie project and especially so
    when the movie includes photos and the Ken Burns effect NOT is used. Instead just drop or import the iMovie movie project icon (with a Star on it) into iDVD theme window.
    • iMovie’08 or 09 or 11 are not meant to go to iDVD. Go via Media Browser or rather use iMovie HD 6 from start.
    3. I use Roxio Toast™ to make an as slow burn as possibly e.g. x4 or x1 (in iDVD’08 or 09  this can also be set)
    This can also be done with Apple’s Disk Utilities application when burning from a DiskImage.
    4. There has to be about or more than 25Gb free space on internal (start-up) hard disk. iDVD can't
    use an external one as scratch disk (if it is not start-up disc). For SD-Video - if HD-material is used I guess that 4 to 5 times more would do.
    5. I use Verbatim ( also recommended by many - Taiyo Yuden DVDs - I can’t get hold of it to test )
    6. I use DVD-R (no +R or +/-RW) - DVD-R play’s on more and older DVD-Players
    7. Keep NTSC to NTSC - or - PAL to PAL when going from iMovie to iDVD
    (I use JES_Deinterlacer to keep frame per sec. same from editing to the Video-DVD result.)
    8. Don’t burn more than three DVDs at a time - but let the laser cool off for a while before next batch.
    iDVD quality also depends on.
    • DVD is a standard in it self. It is Standard Definition Quality = Same as on old CRT-TV sets and can not
    deliver anything better that this.
    HD-DVD was a short-lived standard and it was only a few Toshiba DVD-players that could playback.
    These DVDs could be made in DVD-Studio Pro. But they don’t playback on any other standard DVD-Player.
    Blu-Ray / BD can be coded onto DVDs but limited in time to - about 20-30 minutes and then need
    _ Roxio Toast™ 10 Pro incl. BD-component
    _ BD disks and burner if full length movies are to be stored
    _ BD-Player or PlayStation3 - to be able to playback
    The BD-encoded DVDs can be play-backed IF Mac also have Roxio DVD-player tool. Not on any standard Mac or DVD-player
    Full BD-disks needs a BD-player (in Mac) as they need blue-laser to be read. No red-laser can do this.
    • HOW much free space is there on Your internal (start-up) hard disk. Go for approx. 25Gb.
    less than 5Gb and Your result will most probably not play.
    • How it was recorded - Tripod vs Handheld Camera. A stable picture will give a much higher quality
    • Audio is most often more critical than picture. Bad audio and with dropouts usually results in a non-viewed movie.
    • Use of Video-editor. iMovie’08 or 09 or 11 are not the tools for DVD-production. They discard every second line resulting in a close to VHS-tape quality.
    iMovie 1 to HD6 and FinalCut any version delivers same quality as Camera record in = 100% to iDVD
    • What kind of movie project You drop into it. MPEG4 seems to be a bad choice.
    other strange formats are .avi, .wmv, .flash etc. Convert to streamingDV first
    Also audio formats matters. I use only .aiff or from miniDV tape Camera 16-bit
    strange formats often problematic are .avi, .wmv, audio from iTunes, .mp3 etc
    Convert to .aiff first and use this in movie project
    • What kind of standard - NTSC movie and NTSC DVD or PAL to PAL - no mix.
    (If You need to change to do a NTSC DVD from PAL material let JES_Deinterlacer_3.2.2 do the conversion)
    (Dropping a PAL movie into a NTSC iDVD project
    (US) NTSC DVDs most often are playable in EU
    (EU) PAL DVDs most often needs to be converted to play in US
    UNLESS. They are play-backed by a Mac - then You need not to care
    • What kind of DVDs You are using. I use Verbatim DVD-R (this brand AND no +R or +/-RW)
    • How You encode and burn it. Two settings prior iDVD’08 or 09
    Pro Quality (only in iDVD 08 & 09)
    Best / High Quality (not always - most often not)
    Best / High Performances (most often my choice before Pro Quality)
    1. go to iDVD pref. menu and select tab far right and set burn speed to x1 (less errors = plays better) - only in iDVD 08 & 09
    (x4 by some and may be even better)
    2. Project info. Select Professional Encoding - only in iDVD 08 & 09.
    Region codes.
    iDVD - only burn Region = 0 - meaning - DVDs are playable everywhere
    DVD Studio pro can set Region codes.
    1 = US
    2 = EU

    What it turned out to be was the "quality" settings in iDVD. The total clip time was NOT over 2 hours or 4.7GB, yet iDVD created massive visual artifacts on the "professional quality" setting.
    I switched the settings to "high quality" which solved the problem. According iDVD help, "high quality" determines the best bit rate for the clips you have.
    I have NEVER seen iDVD do this before, especially when I was under the 2 hour and 4.7GB limits.
    For anyone else, there seem to be 2 places in iDVD to set quality settings, the first is under "preferences" and the second under "project info." They do NOT seem to be linked (i.e. if you change one, the other is NOT changed). take care, Mario
    TO GET IT TO WORK SLIGHTLY FASTER
    • Minimum of 25Gb free space on Start-Up hard disk
    • No other programs running in BackGround e.g. Energy-Saver
    • Don’t let HD spin down or be turned off (in Energy-Save)
    • Move hard disks that are not to be used to Trash - To be disconnected/turned off
    • Goto Spotlight and set the rest of them under Integrity (not to be scanned)
    • Set screen-saver to a folder without any photo - then make an active corner (up right for me) and set
    pointer to this - turns on screen saver - to show that it has nothing to show

  • Text & Image in form Header - Image not appearing all the time

    Hi,
    I saw a couple of other discussions in the Community, but didn't see an answer anywhere?  I am putting my logo (jpg, 283kb) with Text in my header and while it appears when designing in FormsCentral, when I save as PDF it doesn't appear when viewing in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI
    Please help, thanks in advance for it!

    This is more than likely an issue with the color profile in the image you used not being supported by the PDF - this FAQ describes the issue and ways to fix it:

  • Calculate sales tax based on all line items on the order

    My users have asked to determin tax on the sales order, based on all the line items on the order. For example, if all the items are for product only, or if all the line items are for labor only, or if there is a mix of product and labor,
    Order 1
    line 1 product flag as both for vertex
    line 2 labor flag as both for vertex
    Order 2
    line 1 product flag as product only
    line 2 product flag as product only
    Order 3
    line 1 labor flag as labor only
    line 2 labor flag as labor only
    I do not see away to do this while the order is being created. In the order 1 example above, line one is entered, priced, and taxed as product only (it is the only line on the order at that time and it is product only). Line two is entered, it is marked as both. But I cannot send line item one back through vertex marked as both. Vertex processing is already complete.
    I have looked at using both FYTX0001 and FYTX0002. With both of these exits I can only work with a single line item, i.e. once item one is processed it will not go through the exit when item two is added.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hi WCG,
    Our business is located in California as well. California is a modified-origin state, where state, county, and city taxes are based on the origin of the sale, while district taxes are based on the destination of the sale. You only need to add Sales tax when your customer's billing address is in California. I do not believe that Catalyst currently supports district based sales tax. You could look into a third party solution like TaxJar and see if it could be integrated into Catalyst. We currently charge our California based customers exactly what we would charge them in our retail store.
    So you want to do something like this:

    See:
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
    * You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
    * You can see all exceptions in Firefox > Preferences > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
    * You can check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)
    There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

  • When browsing a new library that I created, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle the image appears. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles?

    When browsing a new library that I created and exported onto an external hard drive, the browser shows dotted lines around grey rectangles, no images. When I double click on a rectangle, the image appears, but all the other rectangles remain empty - no image. How do I get images to appear in the browser rectangles? I am viewing this on a second computer (an older intel duo iMac), not the one I created the library on (a MacBook Pro). Both computers have Aperture 3.2.4 installed. When I return the external to the MacBook, all images appear in browser rectangles. What's happening on the iMac?

    You may have a problem with the permissions on your external volume. Probably you are not the owner of your library on the second mac.
    If you have not already done so, set the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag on your external volume. To do this, select the volume in the Finder and use the Finder command "File > Get Info" (or ⌘I).
    In the "Get Info" panel disclose the "Sharing & Permissions" brick, open the padlock, and enable the "Ignore Ownership on this Volume" flag. You will have to authentificate as administrator to do this.
    Then run the "Aperture Library First Aid Tools" on this library and repair the permissions. To launch the "First Aid Tools" hold down the ⌥⌘-key combination while you double click your Aperture Library. Select "Repair Permissions" and run the repair; then repeat with "Repair Database". Do this on the omputer where you created the library and where you can see the thumbnails.
    Then check, if you now are able to read the library properly on your iMac.

  • Important issue. In Illustrator CC 2014 extensions don't cover all the panel at start

    I created a extension in illustrator CC 2014 (last version in spanish) that works fine until two weeks ago. It shows a image that covers all the panel.
    Now, at start it doesn't covers all the panel (only a part) and I must resize the panel for cover all the panel.
    I'm programing in eclipse and my paths in preferences are:
      Service manager root folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP
      User-Specific Service manager root folder: C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP
      Illustrator application: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2014\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe
    My system is a Windows 8.1 Pro and my version of Illustrator was updated with the Creative Cloud App 11 days ago.
    I reinstall OS in my laptop and reinstall all again but the problem is there.
    I was testing the examples in Adobe-CEP/Samples · GitHub (CEP_HTML_Test_Extension_5.0) and it's the same and until I resize the extension don't cover the entire panel.
    here is my code:
    <!doctype html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>extension</title>
    </head>
    <body style="margin:0px;padding:0px;overflow:hidden;background-image:url('starting.jpg');backgr ound-repeat:no-repeat;background-attachment:fixed;background-position:center;">
    </body>
    </html>
    What's the problem?
    Do you have the same problem?
    Before, at start up the extension the image covered all the panel as after resizing.
    Thank you for your help. It's very urgent form me to resolve this problem.
    Here are several images:
        before resizing                                                                                                                                         after resizing.

    For the last few months, I've been having the exact same problem and it is driving me CRAZY. I finally contacted Adobe a few weeks ago regarding the issue and they had me clear out my preferences. All seemed fine for a few days... but then it came back again and seems worse now. It happened so often today I lost count. Very frustrating.

  • Images open showing grid, not all the colors

    Hello:
    I'm having a problem opening my images.  When I select open and select an image, it just opens with the square grey & white blocks in a grid.  The only way I can get the image to fully show with color is when I go to the channels on the lower right, and constantly select Ctrl+2 on the keyboard, for the image to then come in.  I should not have to do this, it should open with all the colors showing up front.
    Can someone help me where I can just open an image w/o manually selecting the color channels everytime?  Thanks.
    Photoshop CS5

    The grid indicates transparency everywhere so is the Opacity set to 0 or have you applied a Layer Mask with Hide Everything set?  Do another screen capture with the Layers pallet visible instead of Channels.
    If the Layers are setup correctly, have you tried turning off OpenGL in Edit / Preferences / Performance?  There may be some incompatibility with your video card or its drivers.
    Did things used to work and suddenly stopped?  Have you updated to PS CS5 12.0.3 recently?
    Another odd thing is that your image is indicated as being 1280x1024 in the tab-title area, but the onscreen representation appears square.

  • An action I recorded only works on the original image, but goes wrong on all the others I run it on!

    I recorded a simple action in  Photoshop CC on one of my photos, to create a frame/border, by adding a stroke, inverting it, using content aware to fill, and deselect, which gives me a nice little frame.
    I created it on an image of ice on moss, and it did just fine.
    I then opened a second image (and third and fourth different image) and ran the action, and instead of using the frame in the same position, it enlarged it and went out of the image by about 1000%!
    Any thoughts?
    Paul.

    We do no know what you recorded.  Please expand your Action in the Action Palette so you can read all the steps and setting recorded for your action. Capture the screen and show us your action. Here I load Adobe Sample Frames action set. and expanded the set you can see there are many steps and would many screen captures.  Or you could save your actions as a text file an post that.

    When I'm travelling I import photos onto my laptop's external hard drive and work on the images using virtual copies to develop them. When I get home, I want to import all the photos together with the developed virtual copies fromt the laptop's external HD into LR5 on my PC desktop. But if I use the import button in LR I only get the original photo, not the developed copies. What am I doing wrong?

    Since your current editing workflow is based around Virtual Copies there are no actual files containing the edit data. Therefore, you'll need to use the 'Import from another catalog' option ( see File menu).

    I scanned an image and want to use the image trace tool, but it doesn't pick up all the lines.  Is there a way to darken the lines before using the image trace tool?  Help!

    If the scan is in B&W, then play with the Threshold setting here
    If it's in Color, then you will have to open the scan in a Raster editing software (like Photoshop) and play with the Brightness/Contrast settings to make the lines bolder.

    When talking about a specific image posting the image may be useful.
    One can use a Layer Mask and add a white Layer underneath.
