Image in table dynamically , How?

Hi Experts
I have some requirement to display different image in table based on value attributes. I would be thankfull if some one can help me how to do this programically.I promise to sward points.
Thank you
Maruti

Hi,
keep all of the images in components->mimes folder
there are 2 scenaros,
1) If you are binding a value node (Node A )to the data source property of the Table ,
add a  new value attribute(imgSrc) to the node A and while filling the node give the proper values to the imgSrc.
so for each row we have different images to be displayed..you can create a image element and bind the imgSrc to the Image source property of the Image
2) If you are binding a Mode node (Node A )to the data source property of the Table
create A value node(Node B) inside Node A and add a new attribute imgSrc
keep the singleton property of the Node B as false
cretae a supply function and fill the Node
so for each row we have different images to be displayed..you can create a image element and bind the imgSrc to the Image source property of the Image

  • How to insert image into table and to in Oracle 9i intermedia?

    Mr Lawrence,
    I want to ask something:
    I use Oracle 9i intermedia
    If i use this script:
    CREATE TABLE images (
    file_name VARCHAR2(100) NOT NULL,
    image ORDSYS.OrdImage
    then
    CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY imgdir AS 'd:/data';
    then
    INSERT INTO images (file_name, image)
    VALUES ('tree', ORDSYS.ORDImage.init('file','imgdir','tree.jpg' ));
    I put tree.jpg in directory d:/data in my hard drive.
    Is my tree.jpg file had already get in to my images table?
    I'm little confuse, because when i check my table with this script:
    select file_name, i.image.getWidth() from images i;
    it's show that my i.image.getWidth() for file_name tree is empty.. that mean my tree.jpg doesn't get in to my table.. am i correct?
    N also i want to ask how to display to screen all of my image from images table?
    Is it posible Oracle 9i intermedia to support display image from table?
    How?
    thanks Mr Lawrence

    -- First step would be to create a directory in oracle and map it to the folder where your image resides.
    create directory image_dir as *'c:\image_dir';*
    Then you would have to use a procedure to insert the image in your table. SO first create a table to hold the image. Note that you have to use a BLOB to insert the image.
    CREATE TABLE test_image
    ID NUMBER,
    image_filename VARCHAR2(50),
    image BLOB
    Now let's write the procedure to insert the image in the table above.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE insert_image_file (p_id NUMBER, p_image_name IN VARCHAR2)
    IS
    src_file BFILE;
    dst_file BLOB;
    lgh_file BINARY_INTEGER;
    BEGIN
    src_file := BFILENAME ('image_DIR', p_image_name);
    -- insert a NULL record to lock
    INSERT INTO temp_image
    (ID, image_name, image
    VALUES (p_id, p_image_name, EMPTY_BLOB ()
    RETURNING image
    INTO dst_file;
    -- lock record
    SELECT image
    INTO dst_file
    FROM temp_image
    WHERE ID = p_id AND image_name = p_image_name
    FOR UPDATE;
    -- open the file
    DBMS_LOB.fileopen (src_file, DBMS_LOB.file_readonly);
    -- determine length
    lgh_file := DBMS_LOB.getlength (src_file);
    -- read the file
    DBMS_LOB.loadfromfile (dst_file, src_file, lgh_file);
    -- update the blob field
    UPDATE temp_image
    SET image = dst_file
    WHERE ID = p_id AND image_name = p_image_name;
    -- close file
    DBMS_LOB.fileclose (src_file);
    END insert_image_file;
    Now execute the procedure to insert the image.
    EXECUTE insert_image_file(1,'test_image.jpg');
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    you can find the number of columns and their order using
    the <b>'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'</b>
    call function 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'
    EXPORTING
       I_PROGRAM_NAME               = sy-repid
       I_INTERNAL_TABNAME           = 'ITAB'
       I_INCLNAME                   = sy-repid
      changing

  • How to make columns in a table dynamic

    Hi,
    I want to make the columns of a table dynamic.
    At design time I dont know how many columns will be required.
    Rows are made dynamic by using the bean concept.
    Please help me in this reference(columns).
    Thanks
    Pooja

    Hi, i don't know how you create the rows dynamically but
    have you tried to use a forEach?
    <af:table ...>
    <af:forEach items="..." var="...">
    <af:column headerText="...">
    <af:outputText value="..."/>
    </af:column>
    </af:forEach>
    </af:table>
    here there is an example of a dynamic panelList:
    <af:panelList rows="3" maxColumns="6">
    <af:forEach items="#{bindings.ContratosView1.rangeSet}" var="li">
    <af:commandLink text="#{li.Codigo}" action="Edit"/>
    </af:forEach>
    </af:panelList>

    I just upgraded to the latest software for my pages.  When I opened an old document it stripped out all the images I had in my tables.  How do I get them back

    Don't save. Close the documents.
    Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
    Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
    Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
    We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
    Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.

    Please suggest me how to make my requirement dynamic and display this data fetched into this internal table onto a .XLS file in the presentation server ?

    Hi
    You can try to use the type string:
    form like zscr_data_hdr-form,
    werks like zscr_data_hdr-werks,
    matnr like zscr_data_hdr-matnr,
    verid like zscr_data_hdr-verid,
    lot like zscr_data_hdr-lot,
    lot_qty like zscr_data_hdr-lot_qty,
    udate like zscr_data_hdr-udate,
    utime like zscr_data_hdr-utime,
    zuser like zscr_data_hdr-zuser,
    processed like zscr_data_hdr-processed,
    defect like zscr_defect_data-defect,
    vornr like zscr_route_data-vornr,
    fieldxx type string,
    dayst like zscr_data_hdr-dayst,
    end of t_data.
    So you can save you informations of every fld<n> concatenating their values into fieldxx.

    My requirement is .I have to display o/p like this
    Material || Year || Period  ||  Mix ratio || Vendor ||Mix Ratio || Vendor || Mix Ratio Vendor || Mix ratio || Vendor || Mix ratio.............................from table's CKMLMV003 and CKMLMV001.Her i have to display the o/p in the above format and i have to display Vendor and Mix Ratio for 5 columns irrespective of data .If i have more than 5 columns for any record then i have to create a New columns dynamically for Vendor and Mix ratio.If anybody want my code i can Submit But plz tell with example how to do?
                    <b>The O/P must be finally shown in ALV Grid</b>
    Thanks,
    Gopi

    You must create the entire internal table dynamically, you can not add columns to a statically define internal table.  Here is an example of creating a dynamic internal table.

  • How to create a transparent table(z table) dynamically

    Hi,
    Can anyone explain me how to create a transparent table(z table) dynamically in the program.
    Any function module or suggestions welcome.

    Hi Mithun
                 we will not create transparent table in the program . you could do it by using native SQL in the ABAP Program . the sample is show in below .
    This is a sample that show how to connect to Database directly and can use the native SQL to select , create or delete table.
    PARAMETERS dbs TYPE dbcon-con_name default 'SDB'.
    DATA carrid_wa TYPE scarr-carrid.

    end of ty_equi.

  • URGENT!!!!How to CREATE TABLE dynamically

    HI all
    i want to create a table in a pl/sql procedure
    where requirement is to create a table dynamically.
    can anybody suggest me the solution.

    Why is this urgent? creating a table dynamically ought to be a rare event, required only by certain kinds of rather specialised applications.
    When people ask us how to do it in these forums, it's often because they are coming from an MS SQL background and haven't understood Oracle's concept of global temporary tables.
