Image tag for a tag cloud

I'm curious:
I'd like to be able to tag pictures on my site and store those tags in the database (with the corresponding images).  What I'm not sure about is whether I can store more than one value in the table's "ImageTag" Column.  Or would i have to create multiple columns (i.e. Tag1, tag2, tag3)?  Or would the tags be stored separated by commas?

Multiple records are always better than storing lists or having multiple columns in situations like this.  If you don't know why, I've heard good things about the book, Database Design for Mere Mortals.

  • What are the bare minimum required tags for DNG (digital negative) images.

    I'm trying to write a program that converts a standard BMP file into DNG. I know that isn't practical for many things, but I'm curious as to what the minimum required tags are for a DNG image. The DNG specs at http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/products/photoshop/pdfs/dng_spec.pdf show what tags are available, and mention whether or not a given tag is required, but this document doesn't have a list showing only the required tags. So I'm wondering, does someone here have a list of only the required tags for DNG images?

    Just discovered there's a dedicated DNG section to the forum at Digital Negative (DNG) which is where this question should probably be, but don't know if think I can move this message myself. Maybe a moderator can move this post.

  • I am not able to share a blogpost image on facebook using the open graph meta-tag for the blogpost image.

    Dear Members,
    I am wrestling a few days now, and still not able to get a blogpost image into the facebook share-box.
    This is the link where i am talking about:
    Top 10 Celebrities on Holiday in Saint Tropez
    I have 2 issues:
    1
    Below ( under the blog-post ) you'll find my facebook like button.
    When i like the blog-post, the share-box pops up BUT without the blog image.
    I put the link in the debugger window from Facebook, but it tells me that the open graph tag for a image is not proper defined.
    this is the link to facebook debugger : https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
    So i created this meta-tag :  <meta property="og:image" content="/_assets/images/blog/img-{tag_blogpostid}.jpg" />
    and put it inside the head of the html code for the detailed blog post lay-out ( site-manager/module-templates/Blog lay-outs/Blog post detail lay-out )

    My blog-list url = http://www.duvanduvan.com/blog  BUT i have to specify the url for a single blogpost item, but have no idea what to specify. i tried different url's like : duvanduvan.com/blog/{tag_itemurl} etc.... with no result

  • In the Online Shop Layouts: Individual Product - Large, is there a tag for the Large Image value?

    I need a tag for the URL to the large image in order to use the Facebook Feed dialog (share).
    See example at https://aesgatorshack.worldsecuresystems.com/gator-shack/ladies/ladies-aes-pep-rally-repli ca-jersey.
    When you click the "Share on Facebook" link, it doesn't use a photo.  I can specify a photo to use; however, I need the URL to the image.
    Here's the Facebook code as is:
    <a href="#" class="social_button social_blue" onclick="window.open('https://www.facebook.com/dialog/feed?link={tag_itemurl_withhost}&amp;app_id=271818569626492&amp;redirect_uri={tag_itemurl_withhost}& amp;name={tag_name}&amp;display=popup','Sharing My AES Gator Shack Finds','width=640,height=320');">Share on Facebook</a>
    I can add the picture= parameter, but I need the URL to the image.

    There is no way to get the value of the large image tag like you can for image fields in webapps. In webapps, if you created a field called "image" then you can output the whole image markup with {tag_image} or just the URL to the image with {tag_image_value}.
    This isn't possible with the large product image.  I recently had to implement a Pin It Button on an eCommerce site on BC and had to use javascript to update the link that triggers the Pin It button with the URL of the image.  Here's what I suggest.  Instead of doing the whole code in the "onclick" attribute, you should use some jQuery and some data-* attributes and set the whole link up with that instead of inline javascript on the anchor element.
    Here's a fiddle that should work for you. It requires jQuery to be loaded before you include this script on your page and requires you to update your markup to the markup shown in my example.  Should be an easy cut and paste:

  • Tag for Image

    Hello everyone!
    Is there a tag for an image, and, is there a tag for one inDesign document to placed into another?
    Or, is this a script-only feature, and how to get started on it?

    But, the demo does not work for me, unfortunately. I placed the
    <&pb(1”, 0.75”,,,,,,,,,A,,,,,,,“?Container Ship.jpg”)>
    from the manual's example, it causes a Runtime Error when import, ID falled.
    Surely it won't work. xtg file looks like so:
    <v2.00><e9>
    @basic - bold=<z10cKfs"Regular">
    @headings=[S"","[No paragraph style]"]<f"ArialMT">
    @Classification name=[S"","Classification name"]<f"ArialMT">
    @classification subheading=[S"","classification subheading"]<f"ArialMT">
    @basic listing=[S"","basic listing"]<f"ArialMT">
    @bold entry=[S"","bold entry"]
    @inline image=[S"","inline image"]
    @cross reference=[S"","cross reference"]<f"ArialMT">
    Create a simple document and export it to a tagged text file from Xtag's menu, not directly from InDesign. Then open it in a text editor, experiment by making some changes -- e.g. add a picture box -- save and import it back into an InDesign document.

  • Jsp tag for blog attribute in a flex asset

    hi Experts,
    I am using FW7.6.1, I have a flex asset with a blob attribute, when I create that flex asset, I can upload an image in that attribute, but I did not find a jsp tag for rendering that attribute which has a image saved, another question is what jsp tag should be used in case of a word file is uploaded in that attribute, that's to say:
    1. for a image, I want to display it in browser.
    2. for a word file, I want to show popup window to ask user if he wants to download or open.
    By using assetset:getattributevalues and render:stream, it's just for string type of attribute, not for blog.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards

    hi all,
    I got the answer from dev guide, seems should use:
    <blobservice:gettablename varname="uTabname"/>
    <blobservice:getidcolumn varname="idColumn"/>
    <blobservice:geturlcolumn varname="uColumn"/>
    and render:satelliteblob
    some complicated then I expected.

  • Places doesn't show up for geo-tagged photos from phone (Sony Ericsson)

    So I have a Sony Ericsson T715, which has triangulation geo-tagging for photos, I can see their location through the phone no problem.
    However, when I import them via the Bluetooth File Browser to my Mac and import them into iPhoto '09, their location does not show up the photos seem to hold no information on this.
    Why is this? How should I import them so that this information stays? (Was a reason why I bought this phone.)
    I tried looking at the phone/importing through Image Capture, but it doesn't seem to work... keeps randomly opening iPhoto and showing nothing. In Image Capture it shows the photos, but I can't import them - just says it's importing, but does nothing in the end.

    No one but the people who made the phone if the data is not there then it is not there and it is not an iPhoto issue - it is a phone issue - their tech support is the place to go
    iPhoto handles correctly formatted Geo Date in the correct EXIF fields - getting it there is the soure hardware's job
    LN
    PS threadjacking is not the best way to get answers even if it is an iPhoto question - new threads that are on the subject are much more successful

  • Images, CSS and p Tags

    I have a site I recently launched with Contribute and Dreamweaver.  I am using CSS to control the alignment and spacing of images.
    The problem I'm having is that I get strange rendering from pages created in Contribute because, by default, it wants to put images that are inserted in pages with text inside paragraph tags (<p>).  Even if the image is on its own line, it is inserted in a <p> tag.  I've tried adjusting my CSS to accomodate this, but it doesn't solve the problem.
    Does anyone know how to insert an image without putting it inside a <p> tag, if there is text on the page?  (Inserting an image on the page by itself does not create a <p> tag.)
    The only workaround I've been able to find is inserting a horizontal rule, selecting the horizontal rule, inserting the image and then deleting the horizontal rule.  This works, but it's far from ideal.

    Thanks for the input.  I'm well aware of how to use CSS.  The focus of this discussion was really how to get images out of <p> tags, not how to write a bunch of extra CSS to undo what Contribute really shouldn't be doing to images.
    I am committed to use CSS on my site, but I am also committed to making that CSS easy to use, which mean working at tag and block levels as much as I can, rather than becoming "class happy".  I know I have to use classes to do the left and right alignment, but let me share a specific scenario where CSS shouldn't be used.
    I have an <h2> element that is the full width of my container.  Below that, I have a <p> element for my paragraph.  For my design, I want the paragraph to have 1em of padding.  Now, I want an image banner that is the full width of the container, so it can nest under the <h2> and be the same width.  If I insert the image in Contribute above the <p>, it puts that in a <p> tag.  Now, the image is too wide because it's trying to add padding around something that is already the full width of the page.  I can't add a rule to remove the padding from all images, because that would remove padding from images that need it also.
    I could write a custom CSS class to resolve this issue, but that takes time, adds to my CSS file size and gums up my dropdown menu with an unnecessary class that's only used to solve this one scenario.  Instead, it makes more sense to just break the image out of the paragraph tag and treat it as a block.
    This is an example of what I was trying to get Contribute to do.  I just needed the image tag as such, an image, not an image inside my paragraph padding rules.
    In this case "remove paragraph breaks" is the most logical choice, rather than writing a bunch of CSS to undo Contribute's quirks.

  • Meta tags for Open Graph

    1. These are the meta tags that I use (I hope am using them right). What do you use mostly?
    2. Also I have a problem when sharing my website on facebook. the og:image is for forcing facebook to use an image of my preference as a thumbnail. Instead of that facebook is using a wrong image and marked it as "safe_image". Why is this happening?

    <meta property="og:type" content="Product">
    <meta property="og:url" content="http://www.mybestproducts.com/">

    Thank you all in advance

    Thanks but it's not what I am looking. First of all this article is not complete. There're missing attributes like : <meta property="fb:admins"  which is related to open graph meta tags. Also what I ask i what experts use when it comes to open graph meta tags  from their experience.
    Also I asked for a problem related with facebook posting. When I share my website facebook doesn't grasp the image as it supposed to do (as set in meta tag og:image). I used the facebook debugger and this is what I got :
    1. Object at URL 'http://(MY WEBSITE URL)/' of type 'designer' is invalid because the given value 'images/IMAGE.png' for property 'og:image:url' could not be parsed as type 'url'
    2. To help you debug, these are the canonical URLs this URL used to point to : facebook.com/(MYFACEBOOK PAGE).  I used to forward my domain to my facebook page for long time. Now that I've made my website what should I do? Will my domain stay connected with the wrong image forever?

  • What does "Running swf tags for frame" mean?

    it is under the "other" and "swf processing" section of total frame time.
    Thanks,
    Grat

    Hi,
    We have a iPad 3 application that loads a LOT of remote swfs that is used for graphics only, but we are getting slower fps for every swf loaded.
    The remote swfs are between 8-10kb and have only 1 frame and no tweens or code, and when they are loaded we stop them(mc.stop()) and set both enabled and visible to false and never add them to the displaylist.
    And as the attached image shows, "Running SWF tags for frame" seems to take all the frame time, the image shows when the app is idle.
    Is it possible to disable a swf completly?
    Thanks,
    Simon

  • Keyword tags for imported iPhone photos disappeared from LR5.7 catalog under OS 10.10.1Yosemite.

    I am using LR 5.7 on a Mac OS 10.10.1 with a Time Machine backup - the vast majority of my photos were taken on an iPhone 5 in the year 2014 and are in a folder on my computer internal hard drive.
    The structure is my Folders > Macintosh HD which has a folder inside called
    Pictures Users/myname with 1719 photos in it -
    when I click on this folder the following folders open up:
    > folder dated 1904(?) with 2 items
    > folder dated 2012 with 1 item
    > folder dated 2013 with 1 item
    > folder dated 2014 with 1352 items...
    .... and so on until
    >Exported Original Photos 365 (which are exports of photos from iPhoto that I wanted to catalog and develop in LR)
    The Maths are correct. But as for the tags:
    when I open the folder Pictures Users/myname containing 1719 photos and view them as thumbnails I see all the keywording applied to my collection of photos
    BUT when I open the folder Pictures - Users/myname and then folder 2014, I see a list:
    folder 2014 with 199 items
    folder 2014-01-20 with 1 item
    folder 2014-01-21 with 5 items
    etc
    All well and good.
    BUT if I open these dated folders with small numbers of images in them (never more than 50 per day), view the images in a grid and click on a photo, there are no keyboard tags to be seen in the information panel. They only time I see any keyword tags that I have entered is when I open Macintosh HD > Pictures - Users/myname which contains my entire library of photos taken in 2014 and those added to the catalog from iPhoto.
    Should I see tags for the photos in the individually dated folders e.g. Macintosh HD > Pictures - Users/myname > 2014 > 2014-01-20 and so on day by day ?
    I have been tagging my photos with keywords after my weekly import. And have been doing this after viewing each photo from the grid view of photos displayed by clicking on  Macintosh HD >Pictures - Users/myname.
    Have I made an error?
    I want to tag my collection of photos by the correct method before it grows in size.
    Many thanks
    David (Brighton, UK)

    Hi,
    I moused down on the "+" sign where it says Folders and "show photos in subfolders" was shown as already being "on".
    I followed your suggestion:  I tried to keyword the photo in Macintosh HD/Pictures - Users/myname/folder 2014-01-20 with 1 item however it did not permit me to type in a keyword in the keyboarding section panel on the left hand side, so I was unable to check if it stuck.
    I don't know whether this is important or not, but the list of folders, subfolders etc have slightly different arrow heads:
    If I drop down the Macintosh HD location there is a SOLID, grey downward pointing arrow to the left hand side of the folder Pictures - Users/myname/..
    However, if you drop down folders from Macintosh HD > Pictures - Users/myname/.. to show inner folders:
    Macintosh HD> Pictures - Users/myname/... > folders dated 2014-01-20 etc., then there is a horizontal triangle that is made up of grey dots rather than a solid triangle for every dated folder - is this as expected?

  • Unique Meta Title Tags for each Photo HTML Gallery

    I am using Lightroom 3.2 I would like to hack the HTML Web Gallery Engine to create unique title meta tags for each photo when it is selected for better search engine performance. I have been trying to mess around with the code and have not figured out what code I need to change. Does any one know what file I would need to change and what I would need to change it to enable a unique title tag based on the title of the actual photo in the HTML Web Galleries? Thanks for any help. I'm not a hard core coder by any means. There has to be someone out there that knows their LR very well.
    Best regards,
    Matt George

    Sean,
         I tried switching <title>$metadata.siteTitle.value</title> to <title>$metadata.image.title</title> in the head.html file, but that just gave me a big error in LR when previewing the gallery.
         I tried switching metadata.siteTitle.value to image.metadata.title in galleryInfo.lrweb file, but that did not work either.
         I figure there must be a basic way to implement <title>Unique Photo Metadata Title</title> for each large photo html page in the Lightroom galleries, but I have not been able to figure it out. I assume I'm close, but since I'm not a coder like you I thought I would ask you. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Matt George
