Imp error - ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition

Hi,
We have a table (table t) with partitions (p1, p2, ... p12) and two of the partitions (p11 and p12) need to be imported into
another database with different schema. Both the partitions to be imported are in two different export dumps. So, I started
by dropping the table t and then import with the first export dump (p12). The first import went fine, but the second import
failed with error:
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 14400 encountered
ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition
IMP-00057: Warning: Dump file may not contain data of all partitions of this table
About to enable constraints...
Import terminated successfully with warnings.
The imp command used is:
imp user/pwd tables=t log=imp.log file=exp.dmp fromuser=db1user touser=db2user ignore=Y grants=n indexes=n constraints=n
statistics=none
Please let me know where is the problem and what is the solution? I need to import the second partition (p11) also
successfully.
Thanks.
BNetra

Created a new partition REST_VALUES with higher range value and all my imports worked fine. But now I have two related issues:
1) All the data got imported into the new partition instead of correct partitions.
2) I observed that the column on which the table is partitioned CREATE_DATE values have been changed to today's (import) date for all rows imported into the new partition.
How do I import properly into respective partitions and not into temporary new partition?
Why did the CREATE_DATE value got changed automatically during import?
Thanks.

I have an installation of ECC6 with BI7 in which consolidated through SEM-BCS OBCS_C10 with the cube, which I have version 100 for fiscal data, 101 data for IFRS and IFRS Copying a 301 version.
The client will ask me the empty version of the 301 in the cube OBCS_C10.
Before switching to empty the cube "Target Real-Time Data Can Be Loaded With Data; Planning Not Allowed."
To empty the cube using transaction RSA1 / manage / contents / Delete Selection.
However, the data is not erased and revise the job gives me the error:

Our repository tablespace filledup alll 40GB allocated and over the weekend we stopped OMS agenets and ran the package for partition maintenance.
    exec emd_maint_util.partition_maintenance;
Now after starting OMS, all xml files are gettting moved errors directory and following error is getting reported in the emoms.trc file. Any idea how to add these partitions. Not much help in metalink. One of the note says try running "exec emd_loader.rollup(); ". THis is for 10GR1 grid conrol. I am running 10gR2 and reopositiry database 10.1.0.5

    Can anyone help me.
    Regards,
    Aaryan

    Hi Aaryan,
From an Oracle point of view the error ORA-14400 is due to the partition range where an insert rows with a value out-of-bound of partition range
The system displays the error message if you want to load data into a partitioned table where the partitions have not been defined correctly.
Please run the RSRV test "Entries Not Used in the Dimension of an InfoCube " for the relevant Infocube and afterwards repair any errors with "Correct error" button.
Please have a look at the following notes:
#509660 - ORACLE ERROR 14400 during update to the InfoCube
#590370 - too many uncompressed request (f table partitions)
Finally please do not leave the infocube uncompressed.
    Rgds,

The error message is self explanatory. One or more of the rows being attempted to be inserted has a value for a partition key column that does NOT map into the defined partition keys on the target table.
Since you have not shown the definition of the Partitioned table, we cannot help with any advice to you.

    But, the
    ORA-00904: "RECORDMODE": invalid identifier
I think  means it is trying to insert  data into column RECORDMODE where the data is not alphanumeric.....Fror example a date.....
It defo looks like a BI table so it could be possibe...

    Hi,
I think you are executing the select statement for schema X and the table is in the schema srnr.
And schema X is not having select privilege on the table 'students' present in schema srnr.
    Goto schema srnr.
    Execute the following statement:
    grant select on students to X;
This will give schema X the privilege to query the table students present in srnr.

    Hi,
Check the corrections given in the note 990764:
    Reason and Prerequisites
Up to now, using a characteristic with its own master data read class as the InfoProvider was not supported. This is now released but it is not available for all modelings. Using the attributes in the query is not supported for characteristics that have their own master data read class. Using the attributes in the query causes a termination. The following errors may occur in this case:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    Fehler in CL_SQL_RESULT_SET  Include NEXT_PACKAGE
    RAISE_READ_ERROR in CL_RSDRV_VPROV_BASE
    Solution
    SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI
Import Support Package 11 for SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI (BI Patch 11 or SAPKW70011) into your BI system. The Support Package is available once Note 0914305 "SAPBINews BI 7.0 Support Package 11", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.
In urgent cases you can implement the correction instructions.
The correction instructions contain the tightened inspection for characteristics.

  • Error handling function: ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error:ORA-00942: table or view does not exist  is not trapped. Why?

Why APEX 4.1 Error handling function does not trap  the error of missing table?
Say, I create simple application with single IR report page and I also assign standard simple error handling function.
Function works perfectly, except but this case:
If I just drop a table used by report page and then refresh the page I am getting usual APEX error message:
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
and error handling function is not invoked at all.
Is this a feature or a bug?

    Hello friends of the forum:

And install Oracle 11g on win "view" and followed the steps in the installation of l at the start page www.oracle.com funcionava all fine, but after a month of any change:
The database does not start qe and get an error "ora-27101 shared memory realm does not exist".
At first and solved momentarily reboot oracle service ...... but after a while does not work but I can not conextar to leave the base because this errror ......
The database is a lapto instalao .... and I have 100gb of free space and 4 gb of memory do not understand why this happens .....
I have to do so you can have acces oracle based ...
I can help with this problem .... thanks ....
I like to see that show me with pictures as I am new in this aspect of oracle .... and want to learn it .... thank you very much

    Hello friend..
The error you are getting *"ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist"* may be coz you are trying to connect to your database which is already shutdown not as sysdba user but as some other user, becoz of which you are getting this error. It sometimes happen that the service of the database is already started but when you try to connect to a shutdown database as users other then sys even having the DBA priviledges you cannot connect to database.
Try to connect as SYS user hope your problem will be resolved.

  • DisplayAuthor managed property does not map to any crawl property, why?

I just discovered the out of box  - DisplayAuthor managed property does not map to any crawl property, why is that? but it is still working fine when using this property as a refiner.....how does this work?

    Hi,
The DisplayAuthor managed property is different. It is  multi-valued  but has no crawled properties mapped to it. However, it represents multiple authors for a document. There is the author that is stored with the properties of a document such
as a pdf this is the original creator of the document, and then there is the SharePoint author of the document which is the the person who uploaded the document. So basically you can search on both using the DisplayAuthor.
Besides, here is a similar post, you can use as a reference:

  • ERROR - ORA-01034: shared memory realm does not exist

Hallo!I am a newbie in Oracle in Linux.I have just installed Oracle 10g in Oracle Eenterprise Linux version 4 Update 7.The installation was successful and I could
work with sqlplus, isqlplus and Enterprise Manager. When I restarted my machine,I manually started the listener,OEM and isqlplus which started successfully.
However, when I try to log into OEM and isqlplus, the error message below appears
ERROR - ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
    How do I resolve this?
    Thanks.

ERROR - ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory An Oracle instance consists of a number of Oracle server processes (the limbs) and a shared memory area (the brain). Each and every server process participating in that Oracle instance needs to attach to the shared memory area.
The error message you see, states that the server process (launched in order to service your sqlplus/OEM client), failed to find and attach to this shared memory segment.
Two basic reasons for the failure.
The Oracle instance is not running. There are no shared memory area and Oracle server processes running for that instance. Solution: start up the database instance.
The server process was launched with the incorrect parameters (ORACLE_SID specifically) and attempted to attach to shared memory that does not exist. Solution: review the TNS/JDBC parameters of the client connection and configuration of the Oracle Listener to ensure that a server process launched to service a client, does so with the correct parameters and environment.

  • When issuing a delete command, I get ORA-14400: inserted partition key...

Ok, folks... this one is a little strange and baffling...
    I am running this command:
    delete
    from stgbb2_char_xref scx
    where exists (select 1 from tt a where scx.entity_id = a.entity_id and scx.attr_id = a.attr_id)
the tt table is nothing but a regular heap table containing the rows that will be used to id those rows in STGBB2_CHAR_XREF that we need to delete.
    The definition of tt is:
    create table bloomberg.tt(
    ENTITY_ID     NUMBER(9,0) NOT NULL,
    ATTR_ID      NUMBER(9,0) NOT NULL
    parallel
    nocache
    nologging
When running the delete, I get this error:
[Error] Script lines: 1-3 --------------------------ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P001
ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition
    (We are running Oracle 10g)
The stgbb2_char_xref table is a partitioned IOT table - below is the definition:
    CREATE TABLE BLOOMBERG.STGBB2_CHAR_XREF (
    ENTITY_ID     NUMBER(9,0) NOT NULL,
    ATTR_ID      NUMBER(9,0) NOT NULL,
    BASE_ID      NUMBER(5,0) NOT NULL,
    ROW_ID      NUMBER NOT NULL,
    PRIMARY KEY(ENTITY_ID,ATTR_ID,BASE_ID,ROW_ID)
    ORGANIZATION INDEX
    parallel
    NOCACHE
    MONITORING
    partition list(base_id)
    (partition base_id1 values(1),
    partition base_id1 values(2500))
The question is - why would I get a ORA-14400 on a delete?? I can understand if we were inserting data, but on a delete?? This looks like an Oracle bug almost??

Good thought, but no - it's pretty much just a straight up partitioned table with no triggers that could contain an insert.

In BPC, we are using BADI to process allocations.
In the BADI data are read from the BPC cube (F and E table), calculate allocations and write back to F table.
