Implement Drag and drop functionality in my application

I want to drag image from one UIImageView to other UIImageView.
Is there any event handle to this drag and drop functionality.
Any one have different idea to handle this. than please reply.

How to implement drag and drop functionality in a HTML5 webpage using touch events?

Hi all,
     I need to create a webpage having two parts.One part is having set of SVG images into it and other part is having canvas.I need to drag those image onto the canvas allowing same image for multiple times and those images on the canvas are movable inside the canvas only. This webpage is only used in iphone or ipad like touching devices so I need to handle touch events.
     There is already jQuery plugin for drag drop functionality but it is not supported for touch events.
It is only for desktop veriosns.So if you know about any jquery plugin let me know.
     So please help me to carry out this task.

I have tried using the same but still not working.
I have handled touch events like touchstart,touchend,touchmove.
But the problem is when I drag the image from upperbox onto canvas, the clone of that image is creating but the image which I dragged on canvas gets vanished.
I am creating clone because I want to add multiple images onto canvas.

Records Management - Drag and drop functionality

Hi,
I'm trying to find out how it is possible to limit 'drag and drop' functionality for nodes. For example, let's say we have model nodes A and B with all element types assigned and visible for all roles. I want to be able to automatically store documents in both A and B nodes but not to be able to drag and drop documents from node A to node B.
Does anyone have idea if/how this is possible?

To restrict the drag and drop functionality, please check the function module SRM_REC_UPDATE_NODE_DESC. I havenu2019t implemented this but I guess this would help you.

Drag and drop functionality not working. IE shows ActiveX error

we recently installed new server, but on the new server the drag and drop functionality in web dynpro application is not working.
when we launch the standard test application wdr_test_drag_and_drop, the Internet explorer is showing a popup: An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction? Yes/No
if we allow by clicking Yes or No, the drag/drop functionality is not working.
first I checked if the issue is with my IE version, but it is not working in any of the IE in any computer.
when I checked the same application from different ecc server on my IE, the different server application is working.
in my new server, do we need to do anything more to make the drag/drop working.

Drag and Drop functionality for SVG charts.

Has anyone been able to get a drag and drop functionality with charts?
I've read where Vikas was able to accomplish this with reports, but, unfortunately, it was an old post and his example is no longer available.
I understand that this is more on the browser/presentation layer rather than the back-end, but, judging from the replies from the mainstays in this forum along similar lines, I'm hoping someone may have accomplished this already.
I'm trying to get this to work for a "dashboard" type application I'm trying to prove out using HTMLDB.

I've done drag and drop using the Adobe SVG Viewer before in a whiteboard application built on top of ... you guessed it... Apex. Unfortunately I do not have an example I can share with you but I know it can be done because I did it, trust me ;) . I am planning on building out that application as an application anybody can download and use but unfortually it will be bit.
Your best bet at the moment is looking on google http://www.google.com/search?q=svg+drag+and+drop there are quite a few examples.
Oh also look at this file in the images directory /images/javascript/svg_js_includes/svg_common/oracle.svgNodes.js it has quite a few helper functions and that file is included in every chart by default so there are functions you can use, (no drag and drop unfortunalty)
If you have can lock down the users in your environment to use only Firefox or Safari you can look at canvas as well it's pretty handy and can do alot of the same stuff

Hi, i have a cuestion,
I need to develop an application, but i have to determine if it is possible.
I explain..
I have to make an applicacion with elements with drag and drop functionality, i mean.. 3 to n containers on the page, a toolbar, with the possible elements to drag and drop on the containers,
later on i have to join that elements with lines, and to save the view, so, when the users open their workspace, they can see their last view saved state.
In a few words, that's my issue.
I ve been search about it, and i found something about drop target option about panel box componnents, but nothing about drawing lines and saved view states.
Do you know about some examples, o an example application, any help resource will be wellcome

There isn't a "painting" function built-in.
You can do drag and drop in ADF Faces between components though.
If you want to show relationship between components with lines - you might want to look into the Hierarchy Viewer.

I am trying to implement drag and drop between two instances of our java application. When i drop the content on the target, the data flavors are transmitted properly, but i get the exception :

The drag and drop functionality is grayed out in Captivate 8. How do I turn this on?

I'm trying to play with drag and drop functionality in Captivate 8, but it's grayed out. All the tutorials I've watched show it working, but in my project, I can't access it. Any ideas?

I've been searching on how to add drag and drop functionality
to an hbox. You're probably thinking "just use a tilelist", and
that's what i'm currently using, but the tilelist cannot align
items to the center, which is crucial in my application (if you
need me to explain further i will, but i don't think it's relevant
here).
So i need drag and drop on an Hbox. The repeater is necessary
because the hbox may need to be populated with items initially,
which can later be dragged and dropped either in itself (to
re-arrange items) or into another hbox of this kind. For the past
few hours I've been trying to find anything that can even hint at
this type of functionality (i've been searching and experimenting
for hours). If anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd

With new Photos app, I can no longer drag and drop photos into other applications as I did in the past with iPhoto.

With the new Photos app, I can no longer drag and drop photos into other applications as I did with iPhoto. For instance, I have a photo collage app that in the past, I could just drag in the photos I wanted to include. Now, I can DRAG the photos, but they do not DROP. So, I have to go through the export process. It is tedious. What am I missing? Where can I turn on the drag and drop feature for Photos?

YOu're not looking in the right palce. That's inside the iPhoto Application.
You need to look inside the iPhoto Library
As I sid above:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there

I don't understand what you mean. If you are concerned about viruses, in my understanding copying and opening a file from the internet which is what "Save image as" does, is less safe than coping and pasting pixels. Copying and pasting pixels is the same as coping and pasting text from your web browser, it can't execute hidden code. If that was possible everybody will get viruses at the moment text or pixels are displayed on your browser.
By the way when you view a page from the internet, image files are already downloaded in the temp folder of your computer but only the browser uses them unless you open them from there and use in another program. So if you have a virus protection the images are already scanned.
