Import x500 addres from csv

I need to export legacyexchangeDN from old domain and import to new domail. I have exported legacyexchangeDN from windows power shell using Get-ADUser -SearchBase “.....” -Filter * -Properties SamAccountName,legacyExchangeDN | Select-Object SamAccountName,legacyExchangeDN
| Export-CSV C:\temp\UserExport.csv -NoTypeInformation
I modified csv (changed samaccountname to alias and legacy exchnageDD to x500).
this is how CSV look like:
"alias","x500"
"admin.test021","x500:/o=test-TSG/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=admin.test0211f4"
"name.ferrai021","x500:/o=test-TSG/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=name.ferrai021021dc7"
Then i imported data using Exchange power shell:
Script:  C:\temp>Import-Csv c:\temp\UserExport1.csv | foreach {Set-Mailbox -Identity $_.alias -EmailAddresses @{add=$_.x500}}
Result:
From EMC or Power Shell x500 addres looks like csv. But LegacyExchangeDN has last 3 digits different. is this normal or something to worry?
/o=test-TSG/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=admin.test021d02
/o=test-TSG/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=name.ferrai021021749

will, thanks to your answer i found a solution.
i have a specific situatin and can't establish trust.
It is absolutely normal a new legDN is generated in new forest,  x500 address can be only added as proxy address.

  • Import Meta Data from CSV - Export Meta Data to CSV

    Ability to import meta data into selected images from CSV file containing a number of fields, one of which is file name. The other fields would be selected tags to import.
    Import logic would be, Where file name in column 1 matches current selected filename, then take following fields 2, 3, etc and import into Bridge.
    Export selected meta data from selected files to CSV to form reverse of above to allow edit of data in Excel etc.
    Further enchancement on import would be to allow instead of just filename, but date/time range matching.
    Logic would be, Where date/time in column 1 is within X hours of selected
    image creation date/time then import following fields into image meta data.
    Useful for example if you already have a GPS tracklog in CSV and want to try and update images with GPS. Assuming camera clock approx same as GPS clock.

    The issue was within the .csv file.  There were duplicate records that were attempting to load as the ID value.  After deleting the duplicate records, the transformation file ran successfully.

  • Problem importing specific data from .csv file

    Hello!
    I'm using JDev 11.1.3.0 with JSF ui and I've been following the excellent example about importing comma separated values from a .csv file, of Mr. Bors, but I have a specific problem...
    1) When i try to import a date value (format dd/mm/yyyy) to a date field of my adf table, the date won't be accepted and it's not shown (I'm using Row.setAttribute("Field", textValue) for that purpose). I guess I have to enter it in a specific format but don't know how!
    2) Same thing with double values. Tried 1.50 and it's showing on the adf table 0.02. Tried 1,50 (with a different text separator) and it's throwing me an error and doesn't show anything on the table (again i'm using Row.setAttribute("Field", textValue) for that one too)...
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank you

    I tried your suggestion before I set my question but didn't know if I was looking on the right direction (I tried some things but they didn't work out). After a bit poking everything was fine...
    So I used
    Row.setAttribute("Field_name", oracle.jbo.domain.Date.fromText(value, "dd/mm/yyyy", null));
    and it did the trick...
    Weird thing about numbers was that after that, they were entered properly on the table with a normal Row.setAttribute("Field_name", value); with value being a String... anyway!
    Thank you Timo!

  • Help with script for "Import AD users from CSV with checks first"

    Hi everyone.
    Can anyone tell me if i am on the right track here?
    I want to be able to provide a CSV with users and import into a new AD domain/forest. But i know there already are some AD accounts so i need to run some checks. For now i am checking only on Name and Email.
    The issue i have is is with "write-host "$UserFullName was not found. Creating user.". It outputs this 19 times which is the same amount of times as there are users in AD in this OU.
    Not sure if my method is right.
    $allImportedUsers=@()
    $allUsersArray=@()
    $searchbase="OU=PL,DC=EUECS,DC=CORP,DC=ARROW,DC=COM"
    $path = "OU=Users,OU=PL,DC=EUECS,DC=CORP,DC=ARROW,DC=COM"
    $allImportedUsers = Import-CSV polandusers_edited.csv
    $allUsersArray = Get-ADObject -LDAPFilter "objectClass=User" -SearchBase $searchbase -Properties * | select *
    $allImportedUsers | ForEach-Object {
    $Firstname = $_.givenname
    $Lastname = $_.surname
    $UserMail = $_.EmailAddress
    $UserFullName = $Firstname+" "+$Lastname
    $importUserSAM = $_.Samaccountname
    $allUsersArray | ForEach-Object {
    $currUserFirstname = $_.givenName
    $currUserLastname = $_.sn
    $currUserMail = $_.mail
    $currUserFullName = $_.name
    $currUserSAM = $_.samaccountname
    $currUserDN = $_.DistinguishedName
    if($currUserFullName -eq $UserFullName) {
    write-host "CSV $UserFullName matched on name"
    $userMatched=1
    if($currUserMail -eq $UserMail -AND $userMatched -ne 1) {
    write-host "CSV $UserFullName matched on email"
    $userMatched=1
    if($userMatched -ne 1) {
    write-host "$UserFullName was not found. Creating user."
    $userMatched=0
    If only i had a cool signature!! ;)

    Move below to outside the inner for-each loop:
    if($userMatched -ne 1) {
    write-host "$UserFullName was not found. Creating user."
    $userMatched=0
    so the bottom should look like
    }if($userMatched -ne 1) {
    write-host "$UserFullName was not found. Creating user."
    $userMatched=0

  • Importing users into WGM from csv file issues/crash

    Hi,
    i've been importing user information from csv files into WGM via the +server >  import+ function .
    It worked the first few times but now when i try the import progress bar pops up and promptly disappears without any thing importing.
    i've tried restarts, new admin account, reinstalled  WGM.
    I've also trashed some pref but i don't really know which ones i should be losing.
    The servers an OD master.
    any help would be appreciated.
    as a last resort what do i need to backup/save if i were to format/reinstall osx server? keeping my settings etc.....
    thanks
    paul

    What I did was:
    Exported the user list, to create an XML file in the correct format.
    Using this format, I created a spreadsheet in Excel (sorry Apple), and in the final column I created a field that concatenated the information I wanted in the ':' deliminated format of the previously export XML.
    Then just copy and past via pico into a pure text file and imported that.
    You have to be careful with comments in Passenger, using special characters (';!@#$%^ and others can cause the WGM to fail and crash.

  • How to import data from CSV file with columns separated by semicolon?

    I migrate database from MS SQL 2008 to ORACLE 11g
    I export data to CSV file from MS SQL
    then I try to import it to Oracle
    several tables goes fine using Import data option in the SQL Developer
    Standard CSV files with data separated by comma were imported.
    chars, date (with format string), and integer data are imported via import wizard without problems
    the problems were when I try to import table with noninteger numbers with modal part separated by comma not by dot
    comma is the standard separator for columns in CSV file
    so I must change the standard separator to semicolon
    then the import wizard have problem to correct recognize the columns data because it use only standard CSV comma separator :-/
    In SQL Developer 1.5.3 Tools -> Preferences -> Migration -> Data Move Options
    I change "End of Column Delimiter" to ; but it doens't work
    Is this possible to change the standard column separator for import data wizzard in SQL Developer 1.5.3?
    Or maybe someone know how to import data in SQL Developer 1.5.3 from CSV when CSV colunn separator is set to semicolon?

    A new preference has been added to customize the import delimiter in main code line. This should be available as part of future release.

  • Import From CSV File statement runs forever, no error, does not finish

    Hello,
    I am trying to import a CSV file in a JAVA program, with the following statement:
    IMPORT FROM CSV FILE '/debug/testdatabase/FILE.csv'
    INTO "JOSEPH"."TEST_TABLE"
    WITH COLUMN LIST IN FIRST ROW
    RECORD DELIMITED BY '\n'
    FIELD DELIMITED BY '\t' ERROR LOG '/debug/testdatabase/file.err'
    THREADS 10
    BATCH 10000
    I have two HANA instances on different machines A and B:
    Both machines run HANA version 1.00.74.00.389160 (NewDB100_REL), while the OS is
    SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.1 on machine A and
    SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11.2 on machine B.
    The statement above runs fine on machine A and the rows are imported properly from JAVA as well as when executed from HANA Studio SQL console.
    If I copy the file to machine B and try the exact same statement with the same file, it does not finish (neither from JAVA nor from HANA Studio SQL console). There is no error either. It cannot be cancelled, only a HANA restart stops the statement. Also the sample file I use has only 2 rows, and memory does not seem to be a problem.
    I seem to have a similar problem to the one described here, but the answers there do not help me: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3396582 I specified the record delimiter, and I used a python script to check for any strange characters that are not supposed to be there, but didn't find any.
    If I copy the file to my windows PC and use the "File Menu -> Import -> SAP Hana Content -> Data from Local file" function, it imports the file correctly into B, but I need to be able to do it from JAVA.
    Machine A administration view:
    Machine B administration view:
    If you have any idea what might cause this behavior or where I can find more information on this problem please give me a hint.

    Hi Joseph,
    First from the pics, the revision of your SAP HANA instance is 73 instead of 74. Since I have no identical environment, I cannot test it for you. But can you try the simplest scenario? You can create a table with only one column table try to import a CSV file with only one row.

  • Import Comments data and Dimension Members from csv file via Data Manager

    Dear Experts,
    I have two questions regarding the data manager.
    Q1.Is it possible to import "Comments" from the csv file via Data Manager?
    We'd like to import the amount with "Comments".
    My image of csv file is like below;
    ACCOUNT,CATEGORY,TIME,ENTITY,INPUTCURRENCY,AMOUNT,COMMENTS
    1100000,ACTUAL,2010/06,LC,30000,This is comment
    Q2.Is it possible to import the dimension "members" from the csv file via Data Manager?
    We have a user-defined dimension named "Project"
    and would like to import the members, instead of maintaining them in BPC administration manually.
    I found an online help information which says "Import Master Data from a Data File Example",
    but I could not find any relevant sample package for this.
    (I tried to import the members by using "Import" package, but it failed...)
    reference:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bpc75/helpdata/en/86/8b1bfc12c94fb0b585cca70d6f1b61/content.htm
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Fumi

    Hi Fumi,
    In this case, I would suggest you to create a customized SSIS package which will fill-in the "Comment<APP>" table, according to the csv file you have. I do not know any standard package that allows you to import comment the way you would like...

  • Import from csv file into a oracle database

    Hi,
    like i wrote in the subject i want to import some data from a csv file
    and transform it into a database.
    Its a simple setup,
    - FA which reads with a self defined schema from a physical path
    - Receive activity which creates an instance
    - transform activity
    - invoke which invokes the database adapter to fill a single table
    - deploy it to a application server
    I cant get it done.
    What i achieved is to fill the table with one set (one row of the csv file),
    but the other rows are untouched.
    Does somebody know where i have to look for some errors.
    The Auditing tool from the app server shows no errors.
    I could also provide some screenshots.
    Any help would be appreciated, i am really desperate :(
    Thanks in Advance
    Sven Richter

    Hi
    1) Is the File Adapter reading the correct number of lines in the csv file?
    2) If yes, after the transformation, how many lines are there in the resulting variable?
    Solutions:
    1) If the FA is not reading all lines, the problem for sure is the XSD you are using. The XSD must define an element which must occurs many times. You do this using a correct XSD construction with the "maxoccurs=unbounded" atribute.
    2) If the problem is with the transformation activity, you shoud use "for each" xsl node, otherwise the transformation just pick one line.

  • Import data from csv to SQL database

    How to  Import data from csv to SQL database through BLS-xMII?

    Hi,
    if you using Oracle, you may also use the bulk insert with MII. You can use the String List to XML parser to convert your CSV to XML, and then use a query that calls a stored procedure which does the bulk insert.
    Also have a look at thread [read XML file into stored procedure|http://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=63850236&messageID=7455643].

  • Trigger while importing from .csv file

    hey
    i am importing data from .csv file into a table called temp.
    .csv file is having column sales. the data in that also contains some empty filed or N/A or -
    sales coulmn in my table is NUMBER.
    so while importing some column are not able to import.
    how to write a trigger to eliminate '-' or 'N/A' or ' ' values from the sales column before inserting into the table

    It might be easier if the field on temp was a varchar2 field instead?
    The values entered should be loaded into this field and you can then use the trigger to test the values and convert these into numbers or nulls before inserting onto the proper data table.
    Check out the TO_NUMBER() function in SQL for info on how to convert strings to numbers.

  • Import List Items with Managed Metadata Field from CSV File

    Hello,
    I try to import list items from a CSV File. Most of the fields are populating correctly except the Managed Metadata Field. I found multiple examples on how to set Managed Metadata Fields with Powersehll, but unfortunately I couldnt get it running.
    The CSV File holds values for the Metadata Column, this value should be checked against the Metadata in the Termstore. If this Term is existent, then it should set the fields value, if it is not existant then it should add the term from the CSV File to the
    Term Set in the Term Store. Can anybody give me a tip on how to do this? This is what I have, where Line 4 holds the Metadata:
    $Siteurl = "http://siteUrl"
    $Rootweb = New-Object Microsoft.Sharepoint.Spsite($Siteurl);
    $Webapp = $Rootweb.Webapplication
    $listName = "Catalogue"
    $listWeb = Get-SPWeb $Siteurl
    $list = $listWeb.Lists[$listName]
    $pfad1 = "c:\temp\Servers.csv"
    $content = import-csv -Delimiter ";" -Path $pfad1
    foreach ($line in $content) {
    $newItem = $list.Items.Add()
    $newItem["Field 1"] = $line.1
    $newItem["Field 2"] = $line.2
    $newItem["Field 3"] = $line.3
    $newItem["Field 4"] = $line.4
    $newItem.Update()
    write-host $line.Title imported
    Thanks!!

    Hi Jimmie,
    From your description, when importing list from csv to SharePoint site, you would like to compare if Managed Metadata column exists in term store, and return yes value, if not, add it to term store.
    That might need script to achieve. You need to import list at first, then get value from term store, and compare with the list. Change the list field per comparison result, then add new value to term store.
    However, there might some workaround to meet your requirement. Not surly understand, so I find some references for you:
    If you would like to export Term Set to CSV from SharePoint 2013, then you could compare it:
