In Hgrid one row attribute value color

Hi,
My requirement is, i have to show Hgrid one row attribute value in any color.
As per my understand we can show only the whole column values not the particular field in Hgrid by using css style.
Please advise me if it is achievable.
Thanks in advance
Jyostna

If you are looking for a random field coloring (randomly any particular column for a row based on some logic), this should not be possible.

    Hi Jaya,
    You want to catch Flexfield values?
    Try below code for catch value.
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    if (pageContext.getParameter("queryBtn")!= null)
    OADescriptiveFlexBean dfb = (OADescriptiveFlexBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("flexDFF"); //get the DFF bean
    OAWebBean dffbean = (OAWebBean)dfb.findChildRecursive("flexDFF0"); //get the field that applies to the attribute1 column that is being rendered
    OAMessageStyledTextBean Stylebean = (OAMessageStyledTextBean)dffbean;
    String dtlsItem  = (String)Stylebean.getText(pageContext);
    /*  here creating  the hashmap and calling the page with the hashmap*/

  • Error in changing row attribute value

    Hi,
    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 and developing a project using ADF-BC.
    In my application,I am displaying an adf table from DataControl->view object.
    The view object is based on an entity object which has composite primary key [Ex: Name and Rank]
    I have an requirement to swap selected row and its previous row's rank values on click of a button.
    I have written following code to achieve this.
    public void swapRows(ActionEvent actionEvent) {
    ViewObject rscMapVo = getRscMapViewObj();
    Row currRow = rscMapVo.getCurrentRow(); //------------->Current Row
    int currRowIndex = rscMapVo.getRangeIndexOf(currRow);
    Row prevRow = getRscMapVoIter().getRowSetIterator().getRowAtRangeIndex(currRowIndex - 1); // ------------> Previous Row
    Long currRowRank = ((Number)currRow.getAttribute("Rank")).longValue();
    Long prevRowRank = ((Number)prevRow.getAttribute("Rank")).longValue();
    //Actual Swapping
    prevRow.setAttribute("Rank", new Number(currRowRank));
    currRow.setAttribute("Rank", new Number(prevRowRank));
    adfFacesContext.addPartialTarget(tblRSCMap);
    }//End of method
    This is giving me the exception
    1)Rank     Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[Group_1 7 ]. [Name is Group_1 and Rank is 7]
    2)Rank     Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[Group_1 8 ] .[Name is Group_1 and Rank is 8]
    If instead of actual rank values I update it to some random number it updates properly. i.e for example prevRow.setAttribute("Rank", new Number(900)); and currRow.setAttribute("Rank", new Number(800));
    The exception occurs when I change one row value with a value that is already present in other row there by giving unique constraint problem.
    How to overcome this problem??
    Is there any other way of implemeting this solution.
    I want the changed attribute values to commit to DB only after final commit but not immediately.
    Please advice/suggest.

    Praveen

  • Getting the attribute value from a table from page def using el expression.

    Hi,
    Am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0.0 and have a requirement as follows for which a sample is been created. Requirement is as follows..
    1. Have a Taskflow that has a readonly table Employee.
    2. On clicking of a button called "route" checks if the selected row , Manager id attribute value = 200 then navigate to first page else if manager id attribute value is 200 then navigate to second page.
    Through the page def , if it has form , then we can access the attributes like #{data.view_FirstPageDef.ManagerId} . In case of acquiring the same attribute value from table using page def ? is what am unable to get..
    Have achieved the routing concept using the Router activity on Taskflow. But am unable to get the selected row attribute value of a table from the employee page def.. Can someone suggest on the same...
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vinitha G

    On the router, right click its icon in the task flow and create a page definition. Then in the page def file, add an iterator based on the same View Object from the table in the first page, then add a value attribute mapped to managerId in the View Object iterator. Finally in the router you can write EL expressions along the lines of #{bindings.ManagerId.inputValue = 200} or #{bindings.ManagerId.inputValue != 200}.

  • Changing background color in JTable, only changes one row at a time...

    I'm trying to change the color of rows when the 5th column meets certain criteria. I think I'm very close, but I've hit a wall.
    What's happening is the row will change color as intended when the text in the 5th column is "KEY WORD", but when I type "KEY WORD" in a different column it will set the first row back to the regular colors. I can easily see why it's doing this, everytime something is changed it rerenders every cell, and the listener only checks the cell that was just changed if it met the "KEY WORD" condition, so it sets every cell (including the previous row that still meets the condition) to the normal colors. I can't come up with a good approach to changing the color for ALL rows that meet the condition. Any help would be appreciated.
    In this part of the CellRenderer:
            if (isSelected)
                color = Color.red;
            else
                color = Color.blue;
            if (hasFocus)
                color = Color.yellow;
            //row that meets special conditions
            if(row == specRow && col == specCol)
                color = color.white; I was thinking an approach would be to set them to their current color except for the one that meets special conditions, but the two problems with that are I can't figure out how to getColor() from the table, and I'm not sure how I would initially set the colors.
    Here's the rest of the relevant code:
        public void tableChanged(TableModelEvent e)
            int firstRow = e.getFirstRow();
            int lastRow  = e.getLastRow();
            int colIndex = e.getColumn();
            if(colIndex == 4)
                String value = (String)centerTable.getValueAt(firstRow, colIndex);
                // check for our special selection criteria
                if(value.equals("KEY WORD"))
                    for(int j = 0; j < centerTable.getColumnCount(); j++)
                        CellRenderer renderer =
                            (CellRenderer)centerTable.getCellRenderer(firstRow, j);
                        renderer.setSpecialSelection(firstRow, j);

                                                       boolean isSelected,
                                                       boolean hasFocus,
                                                       int row, int col)
            setHorizontalAlignment(JLabel.CENTER);
            Color color = Color.green;
            if (isSelected)
                color = Color.red;
            else
                color = Color.blue;
            if (hasFocus)
                color = Color.yellow;
            if(row == specRow && col == specCol)
                color = color.white;
            //setForeground(color);
            setBackground(color);
            setText((String)value);
            return this;
        public void setSpecialSelection(int row, int col)
            specRow = row;
            specCol = col;
    }If I'm still stuck and more of my code is needed, I'll put together a smaller program that will isolate the problem tomorrow.

    That worked perfectly for what I was trying to do, but I've run into another problem. I'd like to change the row height when the conditions are met. What I discovered is that this creates an infinite loop since the resizing triggers the renderer, which resizes the row again, etc,. What would be the proper way to do this?
    Here's the modified code from the program given in the link. All I did was declare the table for the class, and modify the if so I could add the "table.setRowHeight(row, 30);" line.

  • Need to add row and set attribute value on pageload

    Guys,
    On my page based on the pageflowscope variable value, i need to add a row for master and one row for detail viewobject and set attribute values. (Some of the attribute are LOV and Checkboxes as well)
    I am using following code to create records.....records are being added but i am not able to set the attributes
    OperationBinding ob;
    ob = ADFUtil.findOperationBinding("Create");
    ob.execute();
    ob = ADFUtil.findOperationBinding("CreateInsert3");
    ob.execute();
    I am using following code to set the attributes value
    DCIteratorBinding dc1 = ADFUtil.getBindingIterator("firstiterator");
    DCIteratorBinding dc = ADFUtil.getBindingIterator("seconditerator");
    row1=dc1.getCurrentRow();
    row=dc.getCurrentRow();
    row.setAttribute("activest","A");
    row1.setAttribute("type","dc14");
    Anything i am doing wrong here or any suggestion to try is greatly appreciated....

    Vinod,
    Yes commit button is there and yes its also has entry in pagedef...
    When I open the same page on edit mode and i can edit regular record and save them
    Problem is that when i open the page on new mode and try to add rows on page load..... and setting values as described above.... save button somehow doesn't work...
    seems like after i add the rows on the fly, i need to refresh the binding?

  • How to add new rows in Advanced Table along with attribute value?

    Hi,
    I have one advanced table that contain one messageChoice and messageTextInput field.
    I want to add new rows in advanced table. I can able to add rows using the AddMoreRows button in the footer of the advanced table,
    but I want to add attribute value(contactId) each time when new row created.
    contactId I am getting from pageContext.getParameter("contactId")
    How to achive this? Please suggest.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sunita

    Hi,
    There are two ways to do it.
    1. Use create method of entity object, create method fires whenever you creates new row.
    2. Handle the event raised by addanotherrow button and write logic there to initialize contactid as you are getting contactid from pageContext so I will suggest you to use this method.
    if (tableBean.getName().equals(pageContext.getParameter(SOURCE_PARAM)))
    && ADD_ROWS_EVENT.equals(pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM)))
    //write your logic here to default the contact id
    Hope this will help.

  • How to copy the attribute values of one instance  into another instance.

    Say I have 3 instances and two attributes name ,id.

    now I want

    bcd
    efg
    i.e is need to abort instance inst2 & inst3 before that copy the names bcd & efg to inst1.
    Please let me know how to do this its very urgent.

    Hi,
    The tricky part of this is to provide your third instance a way to find the other two instances. Finding instances in a process is a bit like finding rows in a database. When doing a SELECT statement in a database, you have a primary key that will guarantee you that you'll only retrieve one row. In Oracle BPM there are a couple ways to do this. One way is to use the instance's id (the predefined variable id.id) to search for the two instances. Another is to use a "correlation" to find the instances.
    This example assumes you'd like to look at instances based on a search filter. This filter assumes that you have a customerId variable that both of the instances share. It only returns those instances currently inside the process (the SearchScope logic below being set to "StatusScope.ONLY_INPROCESS" in the logic below). The only incoming variable it needs is the "customerId" variable that has already been set to some value in the other instance. Note that this uses the Fuego.Papi.ClientBusinessProcess object. This logic creates a search filter and only returns instances that meet a certain criteria (the two instances in the process). Once you get the instance, the "getVar()" method retrieves the "name" instance variable. This assumes that you have an instance variable "customerNames" defined as a String array that you are using to store the names retrieved from the two instances. The "abort()" method aborts the two instances it finds in the search.
    cbp as ClientBusinessProcess = ClientBusinessProcess()
    connectTo(cbp, processId : "/NameOfYourProcessHere")
    instF as InstanceFilter = InstanceFilter()
    create(instF, processService : cbp.processService, viewId : "TypeSearch")
    instF.searchScope = SearchScope(participantScope : ParticipantScope.ALL,
                                  statusScope : StatusScope.ONLY_INPROCESS)
    logMessage "Customer Id is: " + customerId  using severity = DEBUG
    addAttributeTo(instF, variable : "customerId",
                              comparator : IS, value : customerId)
    for each inst in getInstancesByFilter(cbp, filter : instF) do
       // get the value of the order's amount for the instance
        instanceVarValue as Object = getVar(inst, var : "name")
        customerNames[] = String(instanceVarValue)
        logMessage "Customer name is: " + String(instanceVarValue)
                 using severity = DEBUG
        // aborts the instance in the process
        inst.abort()
    endHope this helps,

  • How to get attribute values from one view to another

    HI all,
    Thx in Advance..
    I have 2 view like v1,v2.In v1 i used one attribute values from "get single attribute" method.And i need the same values in v2 screen.For this i did in v1 outbound plugs , i mentioned the parameter name . How can i get the same values in  v2.

    Hi chandru ,
    you said you declare the parameters in the Outbound Plug of V1.  now go to view V2 inbound plug Tab and creat one inbound plug
    double click on the plug name .it will navigate you to the event handeler method . Now add the outbound parameter variables in the
    parameters
    For example : V1firing the navigation plug
    a type string " defined in parameter
      wd_this->fire_out_to_view2_plg(
        a =      'ABCD'                           " string
    you can retrive the value freely in v2 inbound event handeler
    a type string " defined in parameter
    *   set single attribute
        lo_el_context->set_attribute(
          name =  `TEXT`
          value =  a )." here you will get the 'ABCD'.

  • How to retrive more than one row value from table

    hi,
      I had create one table if i entered value in more than one row, the second row override the first row value and while printing it in flat file i am getting the second value entered twice.
      i created one context for each column.
        plz provide me a solution..........
           very urgent..........
            Regards,
            Kiruthika

    Hi,
    Create seperate element for each row and then set values.
    for(int i=0;i<4;i++)
    IPrivate<view name>.I<node name>Element element = wdContext.node<node name>().create<node name>Element();
    wdContext.node<node name>().addElement(element);
    element.set<Att>();
    to retrive:
    int s=wdContext.node<node name>.size();
    for(int j=0;j<s;J++){
    wdcontext.node<nodename>.getnodeelementAt(j).getAttribute();

  • Pass value of column when report has only one row

    Hello everyone,
    Sorry for not being very accurate with the title of the thread.Here's my situation:
    I have an item that, when modified(key pressed) refreshes an interactive report. All the report column have link to a javascript function, so when the user clicks the row it passes a value to another item on the page.
    To be more specific it goes like this: the user enters a numer in the item, and as he presses a key the report is shrinked down based on the number that it's made.(asynchronous search like google)
    Here's my problem:
    I have made all this working(using dynamic actions and a little javascript), but, for the sake of making it user-friendly i want that when the report is shrunk to only one line, the value of a column in that line to be auto-passed to a page item.(or a javascript function)
    Thanks a lot!
    Kind Regards,
    Cearnau Dan
    PS: APEX 4

    I am currently work on something similar, sort of, unless it's not.
    Anyway, the first function called by the action, onChange in my case, returns a count of items. If there is an exact match, meaning a one is returned, the function branches one way. Otherwise, it branches another way.
    In the case of an exact match, I run some other JS/AJAX to populate other details on the line. If not an exact match, in my case, I show a <div id="searchCriteria"> for the user to refine their search or accept what they typed in the first box and get a list of all possible matches. Obviously yours would behave differently.
    Hope this helps,
    Gregory

  • [ASK] Get One Row of Property Value From Dimension in Script Logic

    Hello, i need help about how to get one row of property value from dimension in script logic.
    Let say there is CATEGORY dimension and the members are like this :
    ID                                                  YEAR   Status
    PLAN_2011                                   2011        A
    PLAN_2011_V1                            2011        I
    ACTUAL_2011                              2011        I
    FORECAST_2011                         2011        I
    FORECAST_2011_V1                  2011        A
    PLAN_2012                                  2012        A
    PLAN_2012_V1                           2012        I
    ACTUAL_2012                             2012        I
    FORECAST_2012                         2012        I
    FORECAST_2012_V1                  2012        A
    If i scope CATEGORY like this :
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET CATEGORY = [CATEGORY].PROPERTIES("YEAR") = "2011"
    Then i will get member scope like this :
    PLAN_2011                                   2011        A
    PLAN_2011_V1                            2011        I
    ACTUAL_2011                              2011        I
    FORECAST_2011                         2011        I
    FORECAST_2011_V1                  2011        A
    Question :
    In script logic, how can i read the second record of scope and move it to variable ?
    Ex. : I read second record, so i can get the data of second record (PLAN_2011_V1, 2011, A).
    Is there any function to read all record that had been scope ? So i can read all those 5 records.
    Is there any substring or offset function in script logic ? How to use it ?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Firstly, when we scope the logic, it doesnt fetch the entire record from the member sheet. It just fetches the ID.
    Secondly, we dont have the feasibility to read only the second ID and skip the others. However, one alternative is that you use the SELECT statement to store all the IDs in a variable, and then use a FOR loop. But this will loop through all the 5 IDs, as per your example. If you want to skip all the IDs except one, you should maintain some property, so that all the IDs are neglected which doesnt have a particular property value.
    Hope you got the idea.
