In iTunes, I have a number of tones stored. I don't know how to access them to add to listed people on my iPhone. I would appreciate any help.

Drap and drop the tones from iTunes onto the phone. Select the contact you wish you add the tone to. Click edit and select ringtone.

My old iPhone was stolen and now I'm wondering how to transfer songs I'd purchased on my old iPhone to my new one. My iTunes account recognizes the sons I've purchased and I can see them in my purchases history but I don't know how to access them. HELP!

So, when I plugged in my new iPhone to my computer, all my music, info, pictures, etc was uploaded from the last time I had synced my old iPhone that was stolen. I'm happy I didn't lose everything, but I also had purchased at least $30 in music on my old iPhone (NOT through the computer, just off my device) since that last sync. So my problem is, my iTunes account completely realizes I've purchased all that music but it is NO where in my purchased library on my computer or new iPhone (so the whole "just right-click and transfer you purchases" gimmick is a no-go). And when I go to the individual songs I'd bought to try and get them back, all it says is I've already bought the song but won't tell me the NO MAN'S LAND that these songs are hiding in!!
I've looked up a bunch of threads and am still unsuccessful. I know that I should be able to get these purchases back onto my new iPhone and my authorized computer but I just have no idea how. It is becoming increasingly frustrating and I realllly do not want to spend another $30 on stuff I've already bought so anything would be helpful at this point.

This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.

As you can see, the stuff circled in red doesn't give me an option to download from Cloud Beta because it already says "downloaded".

I have installed add-ons, but they do not show up on add-on bar at bottom of page and I don't know how to access them.

I installed the French dictionary (Classique & Réforme 1990) today and some time ago added the security add-on, Better Privacy by Netticat. Nothing shows up on my add-on bar at the bottom of the page when I use the Ctrl+/ command. How can I access either add-on?

Are you sure .mov files worked on the iPhone without a third part player? I'm just not sure...
Try these instructions from Apple:

There is a similar setting for Videos on that Settings screen, so if you leave that 'on' you may have similar happening in the Videos app

Sigh.....really late and I want to go to sleep, but I just purchased some Itunes online for the first time, and I don't know how to download them to my ipod. I've never done it before, and it shouldn't be rocket science, but I can't find anything that tells me where to go to download my songs. It said something about check purchases, but I can't even find that screen. I connected my ipod to the computer, and now it says CONNECTED...EJECT BEFORE DISCONNECTING. My BF set up the acct when he bought my ipod as a gift, and as I bought these songs for a special weekend I have planned I can't ask him how to do it. HELP! For some reason the password I always use is not recognized for my account... and since I can't get anyone from itunes without a proper log-in I'm at the mercy of all of you more versed in tech and itunes than I. It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

I don't have the app adn no expereince with it, but it appears basec on teh app description you may need it installed on your MAC as well to download the files.

Restore from an iCloud backup
If you have a new iOS device, or if you need to restore your iOS device to resolve an issue, follow these steps.
Follow the initial steps in the iOS Setup Assistant (select your language, and so on).
Select Restore from iCloud Backup when the assistant asks you to set up your iPhone (or other iOS device).
Select the backup you created earlier.
You can restore a backup only by using the iOS Setup Assistant.
If you've already set up your device, you can erase all current content to go through the iOS Setup Assistant again. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Do this only if you already have a backup, because this step will remove all current content from your device.

Well, if you have not backed them up, they are gone.
Next time, when you have important material in only one place, back it up.

I just found out that I am having the same problem!! It is driving me nuts. Now I know why I am running out of space on my iPhone. It's ghosting the others songs, until you see them when you go to sync. Hopefully, someone has an answer. I have gone through every HELP subject and discussion board I could find on the situation.
