Are u sure u are running the proxy from the right client in the ECC system... Is ur PI connected to the same client as as the one u are running the test..
if so then run through the following test in that order -
All test in ur ECC system
1) Got to Sxmb_admand ... and see if the role is configured as Business system
2) See if SICF is maintained...
3) See if your quesues are registered...SXMB_ADM
4) See if ur SLD connection are ok...run SLD check...and see if ur own business system is comming up rite...

Upon installation of Shackwave Flash update, recieved error message "failed to initialize". Redownloading installer from mozzilla leads to same result.

Firefox prompts update for shockwave flash. Downloaded installer but repeatedly fails at 50%, reads "failed to initialize." Redownloading the installer leads to the same result.

Hello, be sure that Firefox is closed (from File > Exit), before install Flash.
Also be sure to run the Flash installer as Administrator (right-click: Run as ...) to get access rights for installing the files. Any luck ?

System failed memory test

I am really new to Solaris so please forgive me if I sound really dumb. I was able to install Solaris 10, turned off my computer and now all I recieve is System failed memory test. Please help have tried different memory sticks and still recieve the same message.

is this a bios message? id suggest running a mem test if this is coming before the os starts up [http://www.memtest.org/]
if you have the mother board diag tools on cd, run those as well. unless this is a sparc system?

Premiere update failed--Error Code: U44M1I2I0

Recieved an 'Update Failed' notice when trying to update Premiere Pro - with a the code above and a 'please try again later' notice. That was 24 hours ago - same problem just now.
Anyone know how I get around this?

my i tunes told me it wanted to update to itunes 10.5 but when i clicked on it to update it would not update and told me to un-install itunes and re install it.

Unable to install Windows Identity Foundation on Windows 7

Following installtion guide titled "Setting Up the Development Environment for SharePoint 2010 on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008".
I am installing SharePoint Foundation 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 Bit. Following the guide above, I was able to install all of the prerequisites except for the two hotfixes: KB976462 and KB974405. Ater some research I believe KB976462 is
to be installed after KB974405 so I am troubleshooting this item before. I've downloaded the MSU file (Windows6.1-KB974405-x64.msu) and during the installtion for KB974405 it reports that the installation failed. When I go into the Windows
Update history and check the details for that update attempt it indicates Error Code 80070643. This seems to be a generic failure so I'm having trouble with solving it.
I've searched as best as I could for the solution but the solutions for others I've seen online didn't work for me. I've double checked the prerequisites for the hotfix and have IIS 7.5 as well as .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. I used the .NET
Framework Setup Verification Tool and did not see any issues. The other potention issue I saw was that in the Windows Update screen it says that "Some settings are managed by your system administrator" and automatic updates are turned
off. However, I was given a username and password that has local admin rights and that's what I was able to use to install all of the other items in the guide. Therefore I don't think that would be the issue. I'm really stuck and not sure
at all how to proceed at this point.
When I tried installing SPF 2010 dispite that error, during the wizard I recieved the error "Failed to load dependency Microsoft.IdentityModel of assembly Microsoft.SharePoint". Based on that I saw that KB974405 couldn't be ignored.

Upgrading from CR 8.5 to CR 2008, along with Oracle DB from 9 to 11G

We currently use Crystal Reports 8.5, yeah its ancient, but suited our needs. Our web guys upgraded our server to oracle 11g R2, and now we have lil issues with the changes and how the old CR works. So figured it was time to upgrade it as well. My problem lies that i know nothing of database connectors. I have a guide for oracle 9 and CR 8.5 written by the guy before me. works great.
with out changing anything and just installing and trying to refresh a current report i recieved an error
"Failed to load database information.
Details: the database connector 'crdb_oracle.dll' could not be loaded. The correct version of the database client for this database type might not be installed."
I looked around the new CR for an oracle connector that exists in the old 8.5 version, and found nothing.
So i tried and downloaded the oracle instant client... which just has you copy a folder with the dlls and enter in a new entry to the environment path variable. Still get alot of nothing. Not sure if i should just reinstall 2008 at this point or what. the forum going back the last year didnt help me.

CR 8.5 or 9 is not Oracle 11 aware. Past their end of life so not sure how to fix this. Possibly use ODBC or OLE DB drviers.

Error installing boot camp on MBA

I can create the partition fine, but when I click on the button to restart the Mac and get the install of XP started, the installation program will start its "Inspecting computer configuration" step (this is before any kind of installation program load or anything).
It is during this step that I recieve a NTDETECT FAILED message, and installation stops.
I tried re-creating the partition a few times to no avail.
I am using a Sony DRX-840U external DVD drive.
An information would be greatly appreciated.

There are several reports where people are having trouble installing windows while using a third party CD/DVD drive instead of the superdrive.
Please read this [THREAD|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6671460&#6671460] and the go the links available in that thread. I don't think there is a clear answer yet whey it sometimes does not work with a third party drive.

ICC Colour profiles help!?

Hi all,
I just started a new job and on Friday I sent my first work off to the printers.
It came up with error messages saying about colour error with ICC profiles being incorrect.
(I use a pre set export setting)
When I contacted the printers he said it wasn't a problem this time, but to take those profiles out my end next week/sort them out.
I have done a little reserach and looked on this forum to see if I can answer my question but i am left confused and I was hoping someone on here could help.
So my questions are:
What exactly is a ICC profile
How do i change or get rid of this so i do not have a error printing next time

Im using ReloadEvery 3.6.3 & Live HTTP Headers 0.16 plugin's for playin mobsters on myspace. After capturing the the script, editing & placing in the address bar I recieve a message: Failed Security. ASA VPN issues

Hello all,
Recently I was given a task on trying to configure VPN on the ASA 5505, but so far I have been unsuccessful. When i try to use the Cisco VPN Client Version 4x it gets to the authentication part asking for a username and password. When I use the Username and Password I set up on the ASA 5505 it tries to connect but ends up quiting.

I solved the problem with idsconfig. I had changed the /etc/pam.conf, as says in "System Administration Guide: Naming and Directory Services (DNS, NIS, and LDAP" for use pam_ldap. No problems until here.
Now, when I run ldapclient, I have some problem.
I configured my DIT as dc=tj,dc=com, and I used the follow command.
ldapclient init -a profileName=dfclients \
-a domainName=tj.com \
192.168.6.25
I believe that the ip is the ip of ldap server, but it�s not a problem, because, the client and the server is in the same machine.
I recieve the message:
Failed to find defaulSearchBase for domain tj.comI�ve looked at cn=dfclients,ou=profile,dc=tj,dc=com, and exists there a attribute DefaultSearchBase=dc=tj,dc=com
And don�t know where the defaultSearchBase isreferred by domain name.
I think, because the same problem, I can�t use ldapaddent to import /etc/hosts.

No legal authentication method configured.

A couple things to check:
Make sure the nisDomain attribute is set in dc=... to tj.com.
You need to define a proxy DN. I'm guessing you set the credential level to "anonymous". This won't have any read access to the userPassword attribute. Also, check your ACIs to make sure your ldap is searchable.

One of our clients is using Ora 9i Lite. It has worked perfectly well so far but they are now unable to MSync due to a numeric overflow error that occurred at the start of the Receiving phase.
We suspected some rogue value exceeding the permitted range but they have been unable to find anything so far. We had a similar problem on our dev box about a year ago due to a 1+126 value.
I have just dropped the Mobileclient user and re-created the repository with repwizard. I am seeing this error during the Processing phase.

looking at msync (same if the APIs are used) from the perspective of the client device, the behaviour of the four progress bars can be a bit misleading
First bar is composing - this is an extract from the client database to create a packed binary file (you should see something like username_snd, or just _snd)
If there is already a send file, then this is added to each time - this in itself can be a problem, as some types of errors (invalid block length for example) are related to corruption in this file
Second bar is sending - this will move progressively across as the data is uploaded, unpacked and inserted into the in queue tables - more data, longer it takes. The end of this stage is EITHER the end of the data file OR an error being sent from the server (ie: a server error causes premature ending of the upload) due to an upload problem. In the case of a server error, you will sometimes see the sending bar suddenly jump to the end
Third bar is recieving - normally there is a slight delay between the end of sending and recieving (whilst the server prepares the data for download), and it then it moves progressively across as the data is downloaded (to a binary file on the client <username>olres.bin). If this jumps across to the end quickly, this is normally due to either an upload error (nothing to download), or a failure during the select for download (constraint violations, invalid packages etc.)
last bar is processing - this is the downloaded binary file being unpacked and written to the client database (you will see second copies of the database files appearing on the client whilst this is running). If the server has sent an error in the download file, it will stop at that point and report the eror.
NOTE the binary files do not get automatically cleared, so you may have to manually remove them, or they will get re-processed next time you sync, and you will see the same error even if it has been fixed.
So from the above
error on upload (normally related to unpacking the upload file, or the inserts into the in queue table) will make the sending complete quickly, go through recieving queickly and fail almost immediately in the processing stage
error on download (normally data selection issues on the server) will have a normal sending phase (and in fact the data will be on the server ready for processing, or in the error queue), but the recieving phase will suddenly jump to the end. The failure will be reported part way thouigh the processing stage

BBP_MON_SC transaction

When trying to utilize this transaction in our production system I am recieving a interpreter failed message. I have published the BBP_MON_SC service in SE80 and my user has the SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR role assigned. The transaction works fine in our development system. Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong? We are on SRM_SERVER 5.0 patch level 7.

The "interpreter fail" message can mean you have a dump in the transaction.
To check:
-Connect in SAP GUI with the same user
-key in '/n' to exit the sap easy access menu
-key 'BBP_MON_SC' to launch the transaction.
Then you may have the answer to your issue.
