In User groups user name is shown as ADLDSMembershipProvider:UserID and not with First & Last Name

In SharePoint site Groups for some users, user name is coming up with ADLDSMembershipProvider:UserID and not with the correct first name and last name.
Can some one please advice how i can get the correct first name and last name for the users, below screenshots for your
reference.

What version of sharepoint you are using?
It seems that you have also configured custom membership provider with AD LDS. To verify this go to central admin and check the web application properties to confirm what auth method is being used.

ISync adds a "-" to contacts with First/Last Name Blank

Hello, I'm using iSync 2.3 with a Nokia 8800 (S40) and Sonyericsson T610.
When a contact's name is First name:John Last name:Smith, it syncs properly to my phones as "John Smith".
With First name: John Smith Last name: empty, it syncs as John-Smith-.
Same goes with a blank first name. Some of the contacts only have a first name written in, anyone knows how I can get rid of the extra -s?

I'm not aware of anyone called just "John"! Everybody I know has at least a first name and a last name... therefore that is the data I enter into Address Book and iSync works fine for me and all my Sony Ericsson phones.
If you don't provide the required data, you can't really expect iSync to work correctly.
There is a reason for this... its because most phones don't split First and Last Name into two fields like Address Book does. So, if you have a contact named just "John" with no last name, when you sync, how does iSync know whether "John" is a First or Last name?
To get around this iSync adds a '-' into the blank field, so that when syncing back it knows where to put the data.
The solution is extremely simple, just provide Address Book with a first and last name (which AFAIK everyone has).

OIM 10g Event Handler : Integrated with User Groups.User Members

I have created custom event handler and integrated it with User Groups.User Members data object.

Use BCC. That's blind carbon copy. And copy paste the address into the BCC field. It really depends what e-mail program you use how to enable BCC.

You need to enter the Apple ID and password that was used to set up/activate the phone. There is no way around this.

Remove First & Last Name Validation in Get Support

Hi All,
   I have enabled the self management of password for portal users. I have to remove the First & Last Name validation and make it optional, I have also made (ume.logon.logon_help.name_required = false) in configtool and taken the restart of the server, but still it is validating the names.
If anyone have removed the validation for the above, can help me.

the right place to remove the validation is the par file of the login page.
Get the par file from the portal. unzip the par file.
under the PORTAL-INF\lib u will find the umelogonbase.jar
Extrat the jar. get the java file named
SAPMLogonLogic.java.
Modify the piece of code in the java file.

2.0 firmware causes some contacts with same last name to not be displayed

After upgrading to 2.0 it appears that only the first contact for a given last name is shown in contacts. Interestingly, if i search for that last name all of the contacts show up, so they are indeed syncing to the phone but are not able to be viewed in the regular contact list. I tried restoring the phone (imported settings from last sync after restore) and still have the same problem. Anyone else see the same thing?

EXS-24 key range and note velocity data in name of file?

Cheers for any help in advance. Basically someone told me that if i was to put the key range and note velocity in the name of a file i want to put into EXS-24 it will automatically assign those values within the edit page.

I don't have any problem with my system. My guess is there is something there you aren't quite getting. I'd recommend a visit to your Apple Store, AASP or to contact AppleCare so they can coach you personally.
You can also play with the Address Book Preferences. However to see how changing a Preference affects the Address Book drag the Preferences window off of the Address Book so you can see both the Preferences window and Address Book Windows. Then toggle a Preference and you will see it instantly changes in the Address Book.

Adding users to PAB group with same last name as existing

Cannot add user to PAB group when user has same last name as an existing Group member.
Seems to work, see number tick up and green bar flash, but, never really adds.

In Infopath - From User Group webservice First & Last Name are not displaying

Hi, I am working on Internet faced Infopath Sharepoint 2010 web application.In Infopath form we used a User Group web service to retrieve the first and last names when opening the form. In Development environment its working fine (Ex:- http://sharepoint2010dev:45/)
then we extend the webapplication with domain name in url.(Ex:http://Domainsp:80/) then the first and last names from User Groups is not working.
Please give your suggestions to resolve this isssue.

According to your post, my understanding is that the User Group web service not worked when extend the web application with a domain name in URL.
Did you change the URL to the UserGroup web service in the Data Connection Wizard?
As you had changed the URL, I think you should change the URL(http://<site>/_vti_bin/UserGroup.asmx), then check whether it works.

Cannot delegate Reporting Services Web access to domain user / group, User does not have required permissions

Hi
I have an SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 installation on a Server 2008 R2 + SQL 2008 R2.
I'm having trouble delegating Reporting Services Web Access to a standard domain user.
I have followed the instructions from these blogs:

No matter how I try, I cannot get the reports to show for a standard domain user. In the console no reports are showing and in the web access I get
"User domain\user does not have required permissions........"
The only thing that is consistenly working when I test is to put the AD Group on the Security Role "Full Administrator".
Then everything will show up.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks everyone for helping me with tips. I have now solved the problem. It was the permissions from SCCM that did not replicate to the Reporting Server.
In srsrp.log I got these error messages:
Could not retrieve the reporting service name for instance 'MSSQLSERVER'
Invalid class
