In which table to check whether Business Location exists in VKORG, VTWEG ?

It is not OIFPBL - business location can exist, but no entry in this table.

Sorry I am not very sure about your requirement. Would like to know in which table, the fields VKORG and VTWEG stored ??
If so, VKORG is being stored in so many tables like A005, A006, A007, A020, A030 etc. Similarly VTWEG is stored in KNVP, KNVT, KNVV, MVKE, MPOI etc.,
If this is not your requirement, please enlighten more.

Probaly the name is not maintained in your logon language. Nevertheless you can check the name of all the tables in the table DD02T.

but here before creating the portal user, i need to check whether that user exists or not.If user already exists ,then i need to skip the below for creating the user.

Check whether mail account exists

is it possible with the javamail api to check whether an e-mail account exists or not w/o sending a mail to the account?
this would make life easier for me when people try to register for my homepage. Sometimes they enter incorrect mail addresses and I get a mail delivery error.
if I could check whether the mail account exists, and, if not, I could inform the user that tries to register, I could avoid this.

No, it isn't possible to check whether an account exists. (Have you considered the possibility that people give you incorrect e-mail addresses on purpose so that they won't get e-mail from you?)

    I need to create change a return order (VA02 Transaction ) & then need to create a delivery (VL01N Transaction) for this

I have Req like this
In ZTable i have 2 fields * Legacy System , Legacy Material No*
Environment Value is coming in one of the field in Idoc
The logic is if the Environment Value is UK and a Record Exists on the ZTable for Legacy Sysyetm = Leg1 means i have send Legacy Material No , else Send 01
Please suggest me the process for this

The ZTable is at R/3 side only, iam using RFC Lookup for this, but iam bit confuse on how to construct the logic to check whether there is a record Exists or not on Ztable
Logic shld be If the Environment value is UK and a record exists on the Ztable for Legacy system "ABC" means then send Legacy material number else send 01
In Table we will have the fields Legacy System Legacy Material No & Environment value is coming from Idoc itself( Ex: UK or US)

Single or composite role, which table to check ?

Hello,
I'm currently trying to find out in which AGR_* table is stored the flag that indicates whether a role is a composite or a single one.
I try AGR_DEFINE but it seems that there is no flag to determine whether the role is single or composite. I can't look in AGR_AGRS because i'm trying to determine composite role without any single role associated and therefore there is no entry in AGR_AGRS.
Do you have any idea ?

You can use the VIEW : V_AGR_COLL
If you go to se11 and look at the join conditions for this view you can see that in orde to have a composite rol, you should look at agr_flags for these conditions

Want to check whether cost center exists or not during payroll process ?

Dear All,
Requirement is to throw an error for an employee during payroll run if the cost center does not exist.
I guess this may be achieved by PCR only. There is an operation OUTWPCOSTC which can help.
Issue is that there are parameters like VALEN and VAOFF which need to be taken care of while using OUTWPCOSTC.
Also, when cost center is not assigned, its value in WPBP is BLANK. How to query a BLANK value in PCRs?
Can any help on this with an complete example?

How to check whether a file exists or not

i am in an image uploading utility. i hav succesfully uploaded the image to the server directory (say /uploads). but when displaying the uploaded image, i wanna show the picture only if the image exits (bcoz for some records there is no image). so i hav used this code

but its not working for me. i got it working fine when i give the full path "D:/Tomcat/webapps/diary/admin/uploads/1.jpg". but i think giving this absolute path is not an efficient method bcoz its a web application, bcoz i may not be able get the absolute path always. so how can i do this by specifieing the relative path

Is there a way to check whether an Excel file has a header or not?

I'm currently using POI Utility to read and write Excel files.
You normally use the HasHeaderRow = true / false to specify whether the file has a header or not.
Now, let's say I have a program that needs to read Excel files from a directory, some have headers, some don't.
Is there a way to know dynamically whether a header has been defined or not?
Then, for those having headers, the flag will be set as true, while for those which don't have any header, the flag will be set as false.
E.g.

Problem:
A glogal variable named :GLOBAL.ENV is used in one of my form.
But its value is coming from another form which is developed by another programmer.
I need to check like this:
IF :GLOBAL.ENV='SOMETHING' THEN
END IF;
But, if the other developer doesn't assign a value for the global variable, i am getting an error like this:
FRM-40815: Variable GLOBAL.ENV does not exists
So, i need to know whether the GLOBAL.ENV already exists before using it in my form.
That is, i need to do like this:
IF (code to check whether GLOBAL.ENV exists ) then
use GLOBAL.ENV
ELSE
Assign a default value to GLOBAL.ENV
END IF;
