As a newcomer to the iPad, can you please tell me how to return the font size to standard. Somehow I've enlarged the font size until it's unreadable and it applies to the icons as well! Many thanks in anticipation.

You aren't losing any time in that mode, but I believe it is a 10 second fade out/fade in.

It could be as simple as clipping an image of the fabric of your choice, to a text layer.
In this example the Hessian texture was downloaded from Google images, and placed over a Type layer. You then Alt (Opt) click the intersection of the Type and Hessian layer to clip them together. This just means that only the shape of the underlying layer will show in the clipped layer.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Double check to see that the ‘iTunes Library.itl’ file or the folder it resides in (the ‘iTunes’ folder) is not read-only.
First, see this Article for some background information: What are the iTunes Library files?
Using Windows Explorer, right-click on the file (or folder) name, go to Properties.
If it is read-only, then close iTunes, change it, and reopen iTunes.
Now (going forwards), any changes you make to the Library should be retained (i.e. – rebuilding).

The 80kb refers to the file size.
Yes, you can use Process Multiple Files to do the resizing part (the pixel dimensions) but you won't know what the files size ends up being until after the resizing is done.
In Save For Web, underneath the Preview on the right, the file size for the resized images is shown, so you can keep tweaking things until it is below 80k.
If you have a lot of files to resize, then Process Multiple Files may be best, and then just go fine tune just the ones that end up bigger than 80k.
If you only have a few to resize, then use Save For Web, as you'll only need one go at it to get it under 80k.
The basic flow in Save For Web would be:
Open image in Editor
File>Save For Web
In the New Size section, set your pixel dimensions (800x600) and click Apply
Up in the Preset section, pick your file format. Probably want to use JPEG
Look at the File Size (second line of text under the preview on the right)
Back in the Preset Section, select the Quality from the pulldown to have the highest quality that still gets you under the 80kb file size. You'll notice that as you select different quality settings, the File Size will change accordingly. Lower quality gets you smaller files.)

You can backup your current iPad, and then restore the new iPad from that backup (a list of what is included in a backup is in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4079 - it excludes music, videos, photos synced from your computer).
As the backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their settings and content, for the restore to work completely you'll need all the relevant apps in your computer's iTunes library - otherwise the restore won't be able to install the apps and therefore their content. With your current iPad connected to your computer's iTunes, File > Transfer Purchases should copy any content from that iPad to your computer that isn't already on there so that the restore can then copy them onto the new iPad - if Transfer Purchases doesn't copy the apps to your computer then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Restoring a backup onto a different device won't copy over passwords, so on the new iPad you will need to re-enter your wifi network password, emal account passwords, and any passwords saved on websites.

Someone could give you better and more exact information but you didn't include the model number of your computer. But I can give you a pretty generic answer. At the top of this webpage you should see Product Support. Click on Laptops and then select which model of Toshiba computer you own, ie Satellite, Tecra, etc. Finally type in the model number of your computer. Select the exact model number and click the red Go button to the right. Click the Downloads tab and look thru the different drivers for this computer. Make sure that the new video driver is newer and has a higher version number than your current video driver. If it does, click the Download button, click the Run button and let it do the installation. Afterwards, reboot the computer so that the latest drivers are fully installed. Try again with that game.

I have been using firefox for years to read my email. recently the size of text became small and hard to read. I would like to get the text size large again, so I don't have to use the other browser. I have a att yahoo email account and subscribe to at&t uverse for internet service.

I tried both of your suggestions and neither one worked. I found the solution by clicking on the "View" button, then "Reset". This put my email back to the original font/text size. Somehow the screen had been Zoomed in, so to change it, follow the instructions above.

If the unsubscribe header the add-on uses is present it shows up in the mail header along with the from Subject to etc. With or Without the add-on. So if there is no entry in the header, then the mail sender does not support that style of unsubscribing. In the United States unsubscribing from a mailing list is troublesome as legislators are either are unable or unwilling to understand the problem. Given the amounts of money involved I will go with the latter.

Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to teh external.
Hold Option and launch iTunes.
select Choose library... and select the iTunes folder on the external.
Make sure the external is connected and ready before launching iTunes.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.
