Including Extra Field into Transformation/DS
Hi All,
This is the scenario.
In BW system the infoobject 0GLACCEXT(DS : 0GL_ACCOUNT_TEXT) got one extra field 0BAL_DEPEND in the infosource .
Since this field is not available in DS , I couldnot able to access 0BAL_DEPEND in transformation.Based on that infoobject i need to write some routines.
So anybody can suggest me what i have to do for including that extra field in transformation.

In BW system, the field 0BAL_DEPEND is available in the infosource.In BI we are not using any infosources and using the 0gl_account_text DS we are creating the transformation.
Since the field, 0BAL_DEPEND is not available in DS,we cannot able to write a routine where we need this field.
Hope now u can understand the scenario.
Please advice me to proceed further.

Go through the FM documentation of BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, this gives some information how to populate the custom fields.
Table parameter : EXTENSIONIN
And check the BADI: MB_BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE which is used to populate the custom fields for the material document.
I think you also require to implement this badi in your case.
You also need to extend the tables with the custom fields

I would like to send an email to each recipient once only, and including a data field into the html body message. I am not sure how to achive that with my current stored procedure.

im trying to declare an internal table with include structure and extra fields,
something like this:

Insert extra field in ALV report
Hi All,
Ive requirement like need to add Vendors Country Code very next to Tax code field in standard SAP standard ALV report S_ALR_87012357 .
Ive copied program (RFUMSV00) into z-program.
But Im not getting any idea how can I add extra field in field catalogue and corresponding value in internal table.
Any ideas please ..
Full points will be rewarded for useful answersI didn´t understand the question very well, but if i am in certain, you will have to modify the internal table to add the field. If the table which shows the alv is like a data base type, you will have to modify this in this way:
data: begin of gt_table occurs 0,
include structure ,
new_field type XXXX.
data: end of gt_table.
Then, you will have to add this new field to the field catalogue, in this form:
ls_catalogue-fialdname = 'NEW_FIELD'.
ls_catalogue-tabname = 'GT_TABLE'.
etc...

Vl10 extra field not translated
Hi,
In my company we use an user-exit to enhance the transaction vl10 (via "V50R_USEREXIT_TRANSF" and another include -> see source code below). This user-exits adds an extra field called "ST_ZZPRO" to the slider "Sales Order" of the selection screen of the transaction vl10 (see the attached picture "vl10 German")., This field allows to also choose the product hierarchy. This was implemented a long time ago and works afaik fine.
The only problem with it is that the name (sic!) of the field "ST_ZZPRO" is not translated. So when I choose English ("EN") as a login language, the name of the field just shows up as "ST_ZZPRO" in the transaction vl10 (see the attached picture "vl10 English").
This really suprises me as when I look up the selection texts of "ST_ZZPRO" it says "dictionary ref." and even translates it when I look at it in English (see the attached picture "Dictonary reference").
Below I also attached the relevant code of the user-exit. Aside from comments there is nothing missing from my excerpt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Say know we are craeted sales order with help of BDC... Now we are going to upadete one Ztable , which is having VBELN as a field.
After complition of your BDC....

Formatting Address Fields into one
Using Acrobat X PRO:
I have a multi-page document in which a user is prompted for the address in two different formats:
1) With the address split into 4 different values/fields:
Street Field, City Field, State Field, Zip Field
Example: "1234 Count Rd" (Next Line) "St Louis", "MO" "55555"
2) With the address all together:
Complete Address on one line with a maximum length of 40 Characters.
Example: 1234 Count Rd, St. Louis, MO 55555
I would like users to be able to Fill in the Street, City, State, and Zip fields, and no matter what the format of the following fields, have the data autopopulated.
This isn't a problem for example #1. However, with #2 if i place all fields close together, I have to guess on how far apart to space each field and still have it fit and format properly.
Is there any way to combine the values of 4 fields into one value (separated by commas)?
Making the address field 'auto-fit' may be necessary but it's ugly if there is extra space in the remaining fields.

With Acrobat 4 there was a sample form that one entered the data in fields like tile, first name, mi, last name, abd degrees and then created a full name from those individual fields and adjusted for missing data.

Adding fields into DSO in the Key Fields

I am using a Cube which loads data from DSO. Now, for some requirement I have to add one field into DSO in the key fields Part. But DSO already has 16 fields which I cannot remove.
So how can I add one more field into DSO in this case?
The cube I am using is 0FIGL_C10 and the DSO is 0FIGL_O10.

15 fields + custom key ( concatenate 2 fields ) = 16 Keyfields
Procedure - > Example
16th Key - > RVERS-Version-CHAR-3-0VERSION
17th Key - > RMVCT-TransactnType- CHAR-3-0MOVE_TYPE
1. Create one infoobject - ZKEY - Length = 6 ( add lenghts of the two objects)
2. Make ZKEY as a keyfield for the DSO.
3. Make 16th Key and 17th Key datafields.
Create a routine for ZKEY in the transformation or transfer rules to concatenate values coming from source into one.
TRFN Routine
Concatenate SOURCE_FIELDS-RVERS SOURCE_FIELDS-RMVCT into RESULT.
Or
Transfer Rules Routine
Concatenate COMM_STRUCTURE-RVERS COMM_STRUCTURE-RMVCT into RESULT.
This way nodata will be lost/overwritten due to less number of keyfields in the DSO.
We have as many as 21 Keyfields for GL Totals DSO. -
I purchased 'Avatar' The Special Edition with the included Extras with a gift card. I had enough money in my account to cover this purchase. Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Missing tracks
Typically this can happen because a file or folder is accidentally shunted to the wrong location. iTunes can also get confused if it expects to be talking to an external drive which isn't there. If will often reset the default media folder location and may have trouble finding files in the old folders.
Select one of your tracks that is missing in action. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Cancel when asked to try to locate the file, then look at the location given on the summary tab. This where iTunes thinks the file ought to be? Now find out where it actually is. Post back the two locations for comparison. I should be able to give you some steps to reconnect everything once I can determine which of the things that might have gone wrong is most likely in your case.
When you get it all working make a backup!

The first part is adding new fields into existing form. This feature comes under Branding of portal. Plz use the link below understanding the same and related help :

How to include new fields in PRICAT
Hi,
My aim is to import a new field to the PRICAT price catalogue, and be able to
maintain this field in transaction W_PRICAT_MAINTAIN.
I have entered the new field in table PRICAT_K003 (using an append structure),
and have used the Badi implementation WRF_PRICAT_DIALOG to include the new field in the ALV report definition for transaction W_PRICAT_MAINTAIN. For this purpose I also included the field in structure WRF_PRICAT_K003_STY.
However, when trying to make the necessary changes to copy the field content from PRICAT_K003 to the new screen field, I encounter a few problems.
For this I have created a new Badi implementation for Badi definition
WRF_PRICAT_POOL, method IF_EX_WRF_PRICAT_POOL~EXTEND_ARTICLE_MASTER.
This method uses parameter io_inbound_item (type ref to CL_INBOUND_ITEM). The field doesn't seem to be visible in any of the available structures in this method. I have attempted to include the new field in some of the other structures (in addtion to WRF_PRICAT_K003_STY), but have been told by the system not to do this.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
If there is anybody out there who have a description on how to import new fields
into PRICAT and further on to the article master, I would very much appreciate if you could pass it on to me.

I have a similar problem with inbound pricat. I extended PRICAT_K003 with a few custom fields. These fields are filled using a BAPI table extension and implementing IF_EX_PRICAT_IN_EXTIN. The fields show up correctly in W_PRICAT_MAINTAIN and are also filled when I look in the database table. But when I create an article master from an entry in the pricate catalogue, all custom fields are cleared. I wanted to use IF_EX_WRF_BADIPRE_POST_MAT~PRICAT_PRE_POSTING_PROCESS to transfer the custom fields to MARA, but the incoming structures of the method only include blank custom fields.
So I found IF_EX_WRF_PRICAT_POOL, but it's methods include only structures which are not extendable. So I don't see how I can preserve the data in my custom fields.
Per Erik, have you found a solution for your problem?
Is there anybody else out there who knows how to transfer custom fields from the price catalogue to material master data?

We are working with journals in SAP EPM 10, and we have created several extra fields as a part of the process. as you already know, the extra fields are dummy fields, and we would need to perform some validation when the user save or post the journal.
Is there any way to do it? any badi or something similar?

RegardsFirst of all and just to avoid misunderstandings. For my purpose which was to check the values in the additional fields added into a journal template, I´ve implemented the BADI UJJ_CALCULATED_AMOUNT.
Then, I´ve added the code into the method IF_UJJ_CALCULATED_AMOUNT~CALCULATE_AMOUNTS. That code should work when the user is saving the journal.
If by adding a breakpoint, you are still having problems to debug this piece of code, what you can do is to add an ABAP code at the beginning of the mentioned method like this:
DATA:lv.
lv = 1.
IF sy-uname EQ 'YOURUSERNAME'.
WHILE ( lv = 1 ).
lv = 1.
ENDWHILE.
ENDIF.
And after that, in the transaction sm50, you should be able to select and debug the process.

I'm struggling with programming RFUMSV00.I have to extend this program with one extra field (BSEG-EGBLD).So I made a Z-copy of the original.But this program is working with a logical database.Program is using two field-groups : header and daten.Futher one it's using
INSERT ep INTO daten.
So I have extended this structure (ep) in the program with the field EGBLD.Then before the extract statement I have added the following code :
GET bseg.
select single egbld from BSEG into ep-user_field_a
where bukrs = ep-bukrs
and belnr = ep-belnr
and gjahr = ep-gjahr
and bschl = '01'
and mwskz = 'A4'.
EXTRACT daten.
Program is working with ALV.But seems to be that subroutine PERFORM print_table
TABLES
<gt_alv>-t_auste_ep "lt_outtab
USING ...
is not modifable for parameter <gt_alv>-t_auste_ep .
So I am lost.
Is this the way ? Or do I have to use Badi's ?Anybody who can give me some advice ?

How to enhance extra fields in BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
Dear Sap Gurus,
I am facing a problem . I am using standard bapi for MIGO transaction i.e. BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE . it is working fine. in our company, along with BADI, MIGO was modified with two extra tab viz. Waybill and ExchangeRate. Here we are maintaining some of own developed fields . Plz guide me how can i modify this Bapi so that i can update these developed fields . The appropriate answers will be highly appreciated <removed by moderator>.
Is there any alternative solution?
NOTE : Currently Using ECC 5.0 SAP

1. Use structure BAPIPAREX for passing custom fields. (There are several blogs/posts on how to make use of this).
2. In the BAPI i noticed there is a BAdI to populate these fields into your business tables.
Call BAdI MB_BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to fill own fields

My preview and exports now only play audio, no video
I was working in my timeline last night and suddenly lost all video preview. I still ahve audio but I can't view the footage. If I export the project it is blank also. I had been working with it for a few hours before the issue occured.
